Went with friends who have eaten at this restaurant on three previous occasions. They didn’t steer us wrong as this was a great steaks and seafood restaurant. We had reservations for 5 pm so we took advantage of the early bird specials that offered soup or salad, entrees such as prime rib or filet mignon and shrimp, and dessert. Our server Izy was very attentive and friendly and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. Highly recommend!

We spent 9 days in Marathon and went out to eat several times on our stay. We visited FL Steak and Lobster on our last evening and went literally did save the best for last!
Kathleen was our server and one of only a few that we encountered who were friendly and genuinely seemed to care about her job. Most places we were met with grumpy staff who looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. Not Kathleen! She was happy, kind, talkative and on top of things despite it getting really busy shortly after we ordered.
Our food was great. We had 7 people with us - 2 ordered from kids menu and the rest of us enjoyed the Early Bird Specials which included a choice of salad, entree, side and dessert for between $17.99-$25.99 per meal. It was more than enough food - we all had leftovers, including our dessert that we took to go.
Definitely recommend!

We stopped by for the Happy Hour menu because the prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food included (soup/salad, bread, entree, and dessert) and the variety (prime rib, surf & turf, pastas, fish, shrimp, and more). Tia, our waitress, was amazing. She treated us like we were VIPs, even offering twice to take our family photo at the table so we’d all be in the shot and going out of her way to clean up our table after my husband spilled soup on the tablecloth. Everything at the restaurant is classy. The Happy Hour menu can’t be beat. The food is delicious and well-portioned. Definitely will return and recommend you go, too!

First, let me start with I never ever have written a review for any restaurant, but this really was not good. Last night. Here on vacation! The restaurant was not really fully packed. We had an 8 o’clock reservation. We got there 10 minutes earlier. The waitress was overwhelmed. It her 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. It took 20 minutes for our salad to come out and we finally got our food at 10 after nine I had asked for my check there were three other tables that were having a problem with the same person I don’t blame the waitress. I think it’s management when the food finally came out it wasn’t very good at all poor at that was not good I would never go back it’s our first time in Keys . The restaurant itself inside is beautiful but the food & the service are not great at least for what we ordered. I ordered sushi and my husband ordered lobster bisque soup it had no lobster in it ! It was purée there was no lobster in sight. Our meal was $90 plus a tip so over 100 we were treated so poorly I would never go back.

We love Steak & Lobster! The food is tip top. Locals and visitors flock to this restaurant because of the quality of both food and the excellent staff they hire to cook, wait on tables and keep reservations organized.Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. We especially enjoyed meeting Kathleen, a new waitress who did a superb job in dealing with food allergies and related requests. Thank you!

This spot was great for a nice fine dining experience. Casual enough for shorts and a collared shirt or sundress. They have an early bird menu from 3:30-5:30 which is quite reasonable. The food was delicious, I had pasta Alfredo with shrimp and my husband had surf and turf. Everything cooked perfectly. The waitstaff were excellent as well. Modesto was our waiter and took exceptional care of us. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning.

Excellent place. Very busy, but service and food quality was on point. They accept reservations, which we did, and was a good thing, the lobby was quite crowded when we arrived, but we only waited a couple of minutes before being seated. We had the shrimp cocktail to start, which was perfect - nice, large shrimps, large and cold. For our entrees we had the filet and the seafood Morocco. Entrees come with a salad, and the portions are large, so we both had plenty for a second meal. Very, very good. We recommend it and will be back.

We love this place! Been dining here for years and realized we have never left a review. Today's lunch was exemplary and I wanted to leave my review. The food here is prepared with great care and excellent ingredients. My wife had Salisbury steak served with mashed potatoes and delicious vegetables, done al Dante and fabulous. Her beef was topped with a perfect gravy with mushrooms. I had the Turkey dinner special. Large slices of fresh Turkey, mashed potatoes and veggies. The meal was tremendous. Perhaps as memorable as the great food was the excellent service furnished by Mark C. This gentleman is attentive to every detail and is an asset to this establishment. I would heartily recommend Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House to anyone looking for a great meal at more than reasonable prices.

We came at lunch time with three kids and two adults. Melissa was our server and did an incredible job. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp and cheese sticks for apps and they were priced for happy hour. They were both delicious. For entrees we had the buffalo shrimp wrap and it was perfect. Husband and son got the cheeseburgers and they tasted great - also cooked perfectly. Our entrees were filling. - daughters and myself couldn’t eat all our entrees so we took them home for dinner. We were very pleased with our meal.

My wife and I went this evening and tried their "Early Bird Specials" Dinners with two other couples from our Resort in nearby Layton. We made a reservation (recommended) and were promptly seated, where we were greeted by our Server, Kathleen. She was phenomenal, throughout our entire evening, speaking to us each by name all evening as well - a personable touch. She gave us great wine suggestions based on what we were ordering to eat and the type of red or white wine we liked (and not necessarily, the more expensive ones), great recommendations on sides and desserts as well! I'd return for sure AND ask or Kathleen again!

Server Tracy was excellent and we had a great diner. My twin petite filet with shrimp crab and scallops was out of this world. The rest of our group had the early bird diner which is available from 330 th 530 with reduced prices and great selection.

Our Airbnb host first recommended this place, then the kayak guy, then the captain of a boat..so we went there on an early bird special (which works out well for us with young kids so we’re not out late). Our waitress Kathleen took down each of our names (I’ve never had that happen before!) and that just shows her commitment to giving everyone special service. We had the crab cake, mahi mahi and prime rib. All were done very well and were an especially good deal - the early bird included a soup/salad and key lime pie/flan. Only odd thing was that they put whipped cream and a marachino cherry on top, which I’m not a fan of but some are. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The looks of the building from the outside looks very deceiving of what the inside looks like. Like they say, don’t judge a book by its cover. Once inside, you could tell right away, that it is a fancy restaurant. Staff all dressed with nice white shirt and nice tie and very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was Kathleen who helped us guide through the menu which had a great selection for people who like beef or seafood. Beside the wide selections on the menu the prices were very reasonable and even better they had an early bird with even better prices. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Being our last night in the Keys & with a short night ahead because of our departure time the next day, our group elected to take advantage of the early bird special & amazing happy hour. The $3 drafts were nice and cold and the service was prompt and attentive.
The early bird entrees menu includes a variety of offerings including, crab cakes, prime rib, chicken capricè & grilled Maui Maui. Each also included soup or salad and a side as well your choice of flan 🤢 or Key Lime pie for dessert.
Give them a try your next time in the keys.

You can’t rest on your reputation. I have never been disappointed here in many years. Yes, we were there for the Early Bird Special. That should not diminish the quality. My bill for 2 was still over$ 200. Here’s what I did not expect. No silverware to put butter on bread. Cold ( room temp ) mashed potatoes with entree. Cold ( room temp on add on lobster tail ) Coagulated sauce of some sort for fried shrimp ( 1/2 inch of maybe butter on top of whiteish sauce ) and,,,,I dare you to ever be served a smaller piece of beef than that which came with my Surf and Turf. ( Think large half dollar size)
Now,,,,the irony,,,,the tastes and flavors were absolutely delicious. For the management,,,,,,I hope this actually helps. You guys never missed these details in the past?????????
