We stopped in two mornings of our vacation for coffee while staying at Faro Blanco. Owners were so sweet! Cuban coffee we got here was our favorite in all of the keys.

Worst Cuban ,and fish sandwich.and lm a Cuban I said no pickles and it was full of pickles on the Cuban sandwich the fish sandwich was dry and it wasn't a whole fish in there no sauce french fries were soggy no salt
We were a group of 14. Service was friendly and fast when we stopped in for lunch Small family run place. Some pre-prepared food and the rest cooked to order. I had chicken with rice and beans and plantains. it was great. The chicken (leg...and thight) was moist with a crispy skin and hints of bbq sauce but not overwhelming. The plantains were freshly cooked and served piping hot. Accompanies by 16 oz guanabana juice (soursop). Sat outside at the picnic tables. A great lunchMore
We had a few Cubans (the sandwiches) and they were very good. Amazing portion size for the sandwiches. We also had some pizza, although I'd probably stay away from that in the future.
Cuban sandwiches were dry, almost no mustard or pickles. Meat was over cooked and dried out. Had to put on mayo and more mustard to make it edible. Rice was served cold and had to be sent back. Also, an 18% “auto tip” was added...to my bill even though I had already added a tip.More
We stopped here in Marathon and found the food to be super fresh and extremely well flavored. The empanadas with guava and cheese were wonderful and the fried plantains were perfectly done. If you have a chance it is great place with very friendly staff.
stopped in early breakfast Monday last week while @ Isla Bella Resort nearby, this spot is basic but so so good - ended up choosing their lunch for breakfast where you get an entree w rice beans plantains - then cameback for breakfast 2 more...times again - this is a quick bite shop but they do have a few tables inside - careful parking as extremely close to traffic - nice spot to dine quick bite Cuban @MarathonMore
Friendliest waitress, food amazing, clean place, kids enjoy whole food, good place for family stop and eat, Big plates !!!
Ordered lunch for the office (4 dishes) and all were disappointing. The roast pork was dry, and the black beans had a pool of grease floating on the top. Beans were too tangy, and over-salted. Rice was underdone - still a bit crunchy. Picadillo was...missing olives and tomatoes (it was just ground beef and peppers, again swimming in grease). We will stick with La Nina instead for authentic and consistently delicious Cuban food.More
Coffee, pancakes and eggs were good. We sat at a picnic table out on a small patio. Should have tried the empanadas but didn't get a chance to go back.
A real local gem. Very friendly service and outstanding Cuban coffee. I highly recommend Juice Paradise for their omelets that come with fresh bread and coffee.
Nice staff , food was good , try the beef and potatoes, the yuca and the empanadas. coconut cake was great
I've been to this place several times and keep coming back every time I'm in the Keys. They have a great selection of fresh tropical juices and really tasty fresh-cooked breakfast food that is very takeout-friendly. If you are staying at a nearby property, this...is a great place to kickstart your day of fun in the sun.More
We just had lunch there. Lady at counter was too busy on her cell phone to great us take out order. Ordered two Cuban sandwiches as two beers for $38! I mean the name of the place is Cuban right? Nasty, a piece of old...deli ham on dried out pork and a bunch of bread. While eating one of the employees came out and started smoking in his rocking chair right next to us. Worst meal in Marathon. Much better options!More
So been meaning to stop by for a while and finally did. Figured the thing to do would be to get the Cuban. For $9.75 got what looked to be a big sandwich. But it was mostly bread with 1 slice of ham with some...pulled pork just kind of scattered around. And the pulled pork was half just chunks of fat. It was the worst Cuban I have ever had and was a total waste of what was good bread . So for the food and its cost I have to rate this place as POOR.More
