Great View/Excellent Service

We had breakfast here each day we were at the Cheeca. I was a huge fan of the eggs benedict. The view from the outdoor seating was incredible. And the service was outstanding. It was a great place to start the day and have a leisurely breakfast. The only reason I havent given it a higher... read more

This restaurant is having kitchen trouble. We had a terrible (burned) meal, and the service was extremely slow. The table next to us had issues as well. We won't be back.

at Checca Lodge- they serve bkfst, lunch and dinner. excellent chef, menu selections, wait staff and wine list. sometimes you just want to splurge on a great meal. at night we dressed up, sat outside by the beach, and in the glow of tiki torches- very romantic.

We both had a salmon which was good. So were the asparraques but this does not mean that it was excellent as Cheeca Lodge itselfself claims.

We met up with two other couples for dinner here. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and wine selections. We enjoyed the tuna and the pineapple chicken. The chef sent a salad for us to enjoy with his compliments and later we were given oatmeal cookies. We had a leisurely dinner and dessert. Coffee was very good. We would... More

Nice setting, service was good. My wife had the mussels- they were spicy but very good. I had the surf and turf. The steak was a small filet- i asked for it to be medium rare. It came out 10 seconds from well done. There was a hard burned crust on the outside, and the steak was very tough....I'd go... More

I went here with my wife for dinner at 2000 on a Monday evening. Restaurant was not fully booked but was reasonably busy. My wife ordered the catch of the day, a Wahoo steak. I tried a bit and it was very good. I ordered the Red Snapper restaurant special, this was served as a full fish and was excellent.... More

Beautiful setting, top notch service, excellent wine list and great food. Braised ribs were delicious. only downside was it comes across more like a Miami restaurant and lacked some of the Key "laid back atmosphere" you might expect.

The service was extremely slow and unfriendly. Brie had an unhappy face and was moving slow as a turtle. Nice property around and oceanside views however get ready to sit and wait for your drinks, menu, silverware etc.

They only had a buffet tonight. They had seafood, beef roast, duck, pork belly and several sides. All of it was no more than room temperature. The desserts were also room temperature. I was very disappointed.
