I and my wife had been island hopping up and down the Keys for about two weeks. We knew of many 'shacks'. The 'locals go there' - shacks. Well, the locals go to Ma's. But you see, not only does Ma own a shack. She owns a shack 'above the rest'. Catch of the day - that morning. Quite simple.... More

What an amazing find! Only beer and wine but not a problem. Best seafood pasta and coconut shrimp of our whole Florida trip. Don't forget the amazing key lime pie. Wonderful friendly staff.

We went to Ma's Fish Camp with a group of seven (called 10 minutes ahead). The hostess and manager were lovely and seated up promptly. Our waiter Justin was very helpful, attentive, and per my daughter "rather light on the eyes"... Needless to say, the cuisine was as exemplary as the service. Our family managed to hit nearly every item... More

Everything from the food to the service were good, but not great. I didn't have anything that seemed particularly special, including the key lime pie that advertised as the best in the Keys.

We spent 7 days in Islamarada and we ate out often. Honestly, we did not find a single restaurant we did not enjoy. Ma's however stands out as just a little more enjoyable than the others. The food was superb, the service timely and friendly with a warm inviting atmosphere. I recommend it highly.

We enjoyed all our food - four kinds of fish. What we didn't expect was the best French fries we could remember having. Also recommend you have the key lime pie. Loved the waitress too.

Best fish tacos on Isla! Atmosphere ain't much but the food more than makes up for it! Cracked conch appetizer, mahi fish tacos and meringue key lime pie are the go-to meal. The meringue pie is the best key lime I've ever had. And I've sampled alot!!!!

Over priced, not much to choose from. There was more garnish on my plate than needed. There were no sides dishes served with this meal. The only bright spot in this dining experience was our server.

My husband and I visit MA's frequently. The food is always consistently good. I usually have the fish tacos and they are always delicious. The staff is very attentive and the food comes out quickly. Don't be fooled by the exterior and the somewhat empty restaurant for lunch.

The food was good, not great, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It took forever to get waited on and then to get the bill. The guy busing tables was great though!

Description
Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.
