It has been a little bit since we have eaten at Ma's Fish Camp. The food was great when we were there. My folks stay in Islamorada during the winter and eat here often.

Best homemade key lime pie in the keys, and for a great price!! Other food we loved included the conch fritters, red snapper with lemon butter sauce, capers and shrimp scampi, and the seafood pasta was incredible (subtle, but delicious). We did not like the smoked fish dip. The "chips" it came with tasted stale. The ambiance is a little... More

We came here for a birthday party as it was close to the full moon party (just across the street). We have been to so many restaurants in the keys and were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Literally everyone in our group of 10 were raving about the quality of the food and asking each other... More

Five of us had a late dinner with a variety of menu items, all of which were excellent. We had seafood pasta, grilled shrimp, mahi fish wrap, salad and the hummingbird cake.

This place is a little gem tucked away. Nothing fancy at all but the food is fresh and yummy. The Conch is perfectly cooked and NOT chewy. We always get the Hog Fish sandwhich and smoked fish dip as well!

Every year while visiting Islamorada the first stop we make is to Ma's. I get the same thing every time and am never disappointed. Fresh Mahi sandwich with cheddar cheese, fries and a slice of key lime pie. This past weekend the food was especially good for some reason. The fish was amazing and the bun, super super soft and... We stopped for a casual, early dinner on the way out -- delicious experience! If you're thinking conch for an appetizer, try the cracked conch instead of the usual fritters. It's made to order, pounded thin to tenderize, lightly battered, and meaty. Like a cross between tempura shrimp and calamari flavor. We had the sandwich version of the fish of... More

We had a great meal at Ma's fish camp. Portion size was small but quality was very good. I had the yellow tail with the grilled vegetables and my wife had the jerk chicken. Food was hot and fresh. The meringue on the key lime pie was perfect!

Description
Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.
