We were seated right on the water! The wait staff was all amazing and helpful. The food was delicious. The conch fritters were burned but everything else was amazing. The cocktails were out of this world!! It was a fun friendly atmosphere!

Grouper and the triple tail fish sandwich were both tasteless. Apparently all fish is fresh?? Taxi driver advised us to eat elsewhere, I wish I had listened!
Chicken wings were awful, service was great. Location great…beer & Margarita great…enjoyed watching the people
We came here aware of the low reviews, assuming it was a typical low review for a “tourist trap” vacation site but came anyway because of all the recommendations we received. Upon arriving the tarpon feeding area gives a horrible smell that turned my stomach,...maybe because I’m pregnant and overly sensitive. Should’ve trusted my gut and turned around. We sat waterside and had an appetizer, two entrees, and my husband some drinks. I later ended up with food poisoning, while pregnant, to start our vacation. Will not return or recommend to anyone.More
Decided to give this place a try after driving past several times over the years. I guess it's a tourist trap, as they are only interested in getting you there 1 time. Service was almost non-existent. Took a long time to place an order, long...time to get the food and an exorbitantly long time to get the check. Food was average to below average. Fish was awful. We will not be back and can not recommend.More
Apparently new chef and breakfast menu has none of the specialty items it used to. No more fresh fish or lobster benedict just sub par breakfast food with a hefty price.
Great spot. We could see little creatures in the water while we waited. We also went to feed the fish. The restaurant was good-- fast service. The prices seemed a little high, but not bad. I needed to eat gluten free-- there were only 4...options. None of the options were sea food, which was a little disappointing. I had the quesadillas. They were yummy. I liked that you could feed the fish, eat, and look at things all in one area. The souvenirs are VERY expensive there-- so somewhere else to buy t-shirts or things to take home.More
We went to the Hungry Tarpon as a group of three adults and three teenagers. We made a reservation and got seated quickly at a table right by the water. Our waiter was very attentive initially. He took our drink and appetizer orders, and brought...them quickly. Then he took our food orders, and that’s when things turned south. The appetizers were really not very good - Mac-and-cheese bites were bland and mushy, and the fried calamari were rubbery and tasteless, had minimal breading, and was served with a very bland marinara. The drinks were not very big, were pretty dilute, and very expensive for what you got. A draft beer cost more here than at most MLB ball parks. We then waited an hour for our food to come. Our mistake for coming to the keys in July, but was a hot, sticky, buggy wait. There were a few fans about, but it is a very uncomfortable place to wait an hour for food to come. Once the food finally came, the order was wrong in at least 3 different ways - yes, half of the 6 orders were incorrect. The food overall was very bland and nothing special. I would not recommend this place. We were in the keys for a week, and this was by far the worst meal and overall experience of the whole trip.More

They brought us out the wrong drinks and then took over 40 minutes to bring out the correct one. Then left it on the bill. When I told them what happened and that I wanted to speak to a manager I was told that they...don't take things off of a bill just because we do not like it.( which was not the case we never ordered them? Not handled correctly at all. On top of it our food was not good and came out cold. For spending over $200 and not being checked in on one time. Definitely would not recommend.More
