We had a memorable meal at Sarabeth's. The yellow tail snapper was so delicious, the scallops were great, and bread and sides tasty. The calamari is a popular appetizer. At the time we were there, early bird drinks were half price. We dined on the porch and it was most pleasant. The service was professional - friendly and subtly attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended!

As a local, I enjoy Sarabeths. I really enjoy the shrimp and grits for breakfast. Service is usually pretty quick however, it took a while for someone to notice I was standing at the podium waiting to be seated. Once I was seated and the meal arrived I was never spoken to again until my plate was cleared and it was time to pay. I was never asked if I needed anything for my meal or if I wanted to order anything else. Sarabeths was unusually slow so I wasn't sure what took so long with service or why I was never spoken to after receiving my meal.

Shrimp, crab, cheesy grits, sausage, poached egg, and avocado special highly recommended!
The waiter (I didn’t catch his name) was very attentive to our table. Great suggestions and an amazing experience. We will revisit.

Disappointed
The good was -clean, food tasty enough, knowledgeable server.
The bad, opened late, hostess could only seat one couple at a time. Sat the first couple, got them drinks, THEN has to come outside again and seat us ( she could have grabbed 4 menus at once) portions very small for the cost. They automatically added percentage to the bill for credit card usage, which we weren’t even going to use one! Didn’t ask, just added it on
The American flag outside was ripped, big gapping holes. Do better

Beautiful eatery! We sat outside on the covered patio and the fans kept the air flow moving. The staff were all very friendly, quick, and personable! Our food was very good and the homemade blueberry muffin was excellent :) My Dad was disappointed with his Bloody Mary as it was just the liquid with a spiced rim (no garnishes at all!!). He said it was good, but was expecting more - especially at the price charged and the hype the serving staff gave it. When the bill came we were quite shocked and this is where the lower rating overall comes from. The pricing was not disclosed for things head of time (i.e. the special that my Dad got was nearly $35, a cup of coffee was nearly $5, and most outrageous of all we were charged $6/each for water!!). I understand pricing is pricing, but the lack of transparency here really upset me for future visits. The food and atmosphere were great, but not that much more above the rest that the price needed to be that high.

We were at Sarabeth's just prior to pandemic and it was wonderful. However, we were there in mid-Dec 2024 and it was noticeable that several things had gone downhill. We were were given the choice of toast or a muffin. We naturally assumed that meant English muffin. It turned out it meant an old and burned on top blueberry muffin, but who gets that with eggs and bacon?! I also asked if they had grapefruit juice, only to bring out a small glass of artificial juice from a box that tasted like pure chemicals for which I had the pleasure of paying $7. It was not that busy either. They need to reevaluate their process to return to their glory days.

If I'm going to lay down $136 for THREE people, it better be 5 star food.....but it isn't. Had eggs Benny and the eggs were overcooked and it was cold. The English muffin was so tough you could barely cut through it. Tea 6 bucks? 6 bucks for a tea bag and hot water. Coffee 6 bucks? Service was good. They are charging 5 star prices for mediocre quality. First and last time stopping here.

The food was nothing to rave about, but when we got the bill a 3% non cash transaction was included. We asked the waiter about it and he assured us that all restaurants in Key West were adding this charge. There was no disclosure on the menu. We never saw it from any other restaurant. When the waiter returned with the final bill he said the charge had been removed. Wonder how many other people have paid this charge?

Last time we were in town, about 8 months ago, we stopped in for lunch and had Nicholas as a server and his service and the amazing food are what made us return, this time for dinner.
We got there just prior to happy hour ending, so we started with some treats from the happy hour menu, like Veuve, which is only $12.50 during happy hour! And some of their amazing steak tips… the sauce and the way the salad under it were both dressed, seasoned, and prepared were incredible!
Their bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp wee excellent, as was their sword fish!
In all, we had another excellent experience here and… score, we had Nicholas again! His service was excellent once again too!
Highly recommend stopping in!

We had break there and the food was very good. I had the shrimp and bacon omelette and my husband had the shrimp and grits and pouched egg. We also ordered a side of potatoes and a side of toast. Way too much food stick with the menu! Service was great!

Very disappointing dinner. The starter, soup was good. Then the main came and the shrimp were over cooked and tasteless. Not good at all. The dessert strawberry shortcake tasted of baking soda, and was not the rich and tasty dish it should have been. The strawberry’s were good. Very disappointed. The waiter was very disinterested.

We had breakfast at Sarabeths both mornings we stayed in Key West. Location was 1 block from Duval, and close to where we were staying
We sat outside, on porch and started with their signature mimosas, caramel apple, cherry lime, and pina colada, they were all just perfect, coffee came out in the biggest cups I’ve seen, also the coffee was fantastic
Our server Brad was knowledgeable about the menu and the specials, and was delightful
Here’s the rundown
Our friends had western omelettes first day and pancakes the 2nd day, loved them both,
We had the shrimp bacon omelette and the shrimp and grits
The omelette was so delicious, but the Shrimp and grits was absolutely the best breakfast I ever had, day 2 had the pumpkin pie French toast, and I had the blue crab eggs Benedict, again the food was so good
This place is off the charts, wish I could give it more stars

The outdoor setting in a little patio with fairylights and plants was lovely and romantic, we had high expectations but it was really just average.
A couple of our wine selections and one main were not available. The ingredients were of a good quality but the flavours were just bland.
With our more expensive wine choice due to lack of availability the bill for 1 shared appetiser, 2 entrees & 1 shared dessert and wine came to €180, expensive for a very average experience.

During our Keys trip for my dad's birthday in May we stopped into Sarabeths thanks to a friend's recommendation. I got the lobster omelet and my dad got the shrimp and bacon omelet, both were delicious! We also got mimosas for the table to celebrate his birthday. PB&J, Elderflower, Key Lime, and Caramel Apple. These concoctions were made and personally served by Brad, my favorite was the PB&J but they were all delicious and creative. Definitely a must stop when in the Keys, I certainly will be back!

Went there for breakfast with my family , service was long and they forgot my son’s order, so he had to wait even longer. They couldn’t make tea because their machine was broken so we ordered orange juice instead which was way too expensive for a non freshly squeezed juice. Pancakes and French toast were good but the fruit on the menu proved very sparse on the plate.
