So far, it has been the wierdest, in a good way, bar I have been to. It was really authentic to me with those bras hanging from the ceiling -yes bras!- and a huge tree in the far east of the bar cutting through the ceiling: they did not cut it because 17 women hung themselves from it. Right under... More

Always make a couple stops here when we are on vacation. Love this place. It is the original Sloopy Joe's.

Great place to go for late night drinking scene. The people spill out into the street, music, spirits full bar, friendly Bar tenders.

This is a MUST SEE while in KW, but I doubt you will stay long. Very quaint and historical, but smells like it could use a good cleaning.

This is a must place to visit. The Legendary Capt Tony's Saloon is a place filled with history. You absolutely must buy his book Salt of the Sea.

This is a great local scene that feels very authentic and isn't overdone for the tourists. If you're looking for something with a real local feel this is the place for you. Don't forget to bring your bra, dollar bill or a business card so you can leave your mark at this historic establishment. My wife and I will definitely... More

Great place to catch a good musician and drink a beer. It really hasn't changed in 20+ years. You can walk around for hours just reading about Captain Tony.

This can sometimes be a noisy place to drop into, so make sure you like the style of music first. This bar has lots of character and was actually Hemingway's original hangout and not the current 'Sloppy Joe's'.

This place is just a great, fun, old place to get out of the heat! The rum punch goes perfect with whoever happens to be singing in the corner. Everyone is always laid back, having fun and staff is always cool. A must stop for an iconic Key West old school bar.
