Captain Tony's always take the back seat to its neighbor on Duval but I think this bar is so much better. Always good entertainment and so much character. A MUST stop on all KW visits.

we were in key west from our cruise....and after doing the "tourist" thing and buying a bunch of stuff we will never use...lol...we stopped off at this bar and had some beer.. neat place with dollar bills on the ceiling and names of famous guests on the bar stools... plus they had live entertainment..a singer with a guitar who would... It was a great place to drop in, listen to music, have a drink and talk to someone who was a stranger when you first got there. Lots to look at, left over the years. Lots of fun!

The place is tired and worn out, but for us Jimmy Buffett fans it was a must. There are bras, money, and panties hanging from the walls and ceilings. The day we were here the bar was quite as it was around 12 noon. A woman was playing her guitar and she sang like a young Janis Joplin. Her voice... More

Stopped in for the annual Pirate Punch which is still very delicious! The place is looking a little tired and really dirty. There was a one man band playing near the front and just a few people hanging around. Maybe we were three too early in the evening, but I'm concerned! It's so iconic (and we did enjoy trying to... We had to stop here because everyone thinks this is the oldest bar in Key West ( It's not ). The only cool thing is that a huge tree is built within the building. The place was dirty, maybe they feel they need to uphold the old part. Ladies beware of the bathroom, the doors are half doors...you sit down... More

This was the first bar we stopped into after settling in at our hotel. We didn't know anything about the bar or the history of it. We just thought it looked cool. It's dark, simple, and so interesting! There are bras and dollar bills hanging all over the place. Also, there is a huge tree right in the middle of... More

Dropped in mid afternoon. Asked for a menu and the menu is beer or liquor. Very worn looking place and if you're into the history then enjoy. 2 beers and we're out of here was the phrase of the day.

Good music and a lot of history. This is not an upscale bar but its history is very cool. The was music good and the beer was cold watching the drunk people and not so drunk people trying to put the money in the mouth of the fish was very entertaining.

Cool little place to stop of a drink-lots of dollar bills pasted up all over..and Bra's too. Little, but fun-Ok drinks. Man playing guitar for tips was pretty good too. Nice rest stop.
