The BEST cupcake.

Stumbled upon this place while riding bicycles around Key West. The sign made us stop and ask “what’s a cupcake sushi” and once we tasted one, we were completely hooked. It’s called a cupcake, but it’s so much better than a cupcake. It’s a small cake, cut and rolled with icing. Variety of flavors to choose from. Once rolled it looks like sushi. Highly recommend! When I make another trip to Key West, this will be my first stop.

Amazingly accurate and look like SUSHI!

You can't just have one, you must eat 2 or more. They are that amazing. Go ahead, order some and be surprised at how the taste is just perfect. Not too rich and makes your mouth water. I love these so much!!! AMAZING. Order yours today!

No Cupcakes!

I was really looking forward to trying this place, it's such a neat idea. I just happened to drive by it so I turned around, thinking I would just pop in and get a few cupcakes. Well, I was severely disappointed when I walked in and was greeted with empty cases and it looked like they were remodeling. The woman behind the counter informed me that they were busy filling online orders and shipping them out and did not have any cupcakes on hand, but I could try back closer to closing time to see if they had any orders left that weren't delivered/picked up (I guess). Why have a store front if you're not going to actually sell cupcakes there and seem to only do special orders?! Needless to say, I did not go back.

Amazing!

My favorite food is sushi and we found this gem while visiting friends in Key West! This was a fun way to celebrate my favorite cuisine for dessert! Delish and decadent! We had a great time chatting with the owner! You will not be disappointed!

What a great find in Key West! Deserves to be way higher on the list for best Dessert places. It is a little pricey for the quantity of food you get, but the quality was phenomenal!

what a great concept, found these when looking for true sushi on a recent trip to key west. just enough (about 2 bites worth) when looking for a sweet dessert. creative concept, fantastic moist cake surrounded by frosting, chocolate genache a few sprinkles and candy pearl. a little pricey, but is both visually appealing, and delish - youre on vacation splurge and find this place, you wont regret it

Wedding dessert 10/13/2018

We ordered a display of cupcake sushi as an additional dessert to our wedding cake. First, this food is delicious (most important part, right?). Second, their service was extremely easy to work with. Last, I was told by many people that they never thought they could say they enjoyed sushi and this experience has changed this opinion. I highly recommend cupcake sushi for anyone who visits Key West regardless of the reason.

Birthday gift!

Alexander’s Guesthouse helped me get 2 dozen sushi cupcakes for my wife’s birthday! We shared them with the other house guests & everyone loved them. We had them a few years ago at a film premiere party at Alexander’s & they are just as good now as they were then! If you want a great dessert for parties or just a special someone, these are an awesome choice!

Cupcake Sushi for Destination Wedding

I had Cupcake Sushi as my dessert for my June 11th Key West destination wedding. They were a great alternative to cake! These were unique and fun! We have all lots of great feedback from our guests on these. I highly recommend for any wedding or party!

I love sushi and I love cake, so I had to try this place out on my birthday. She is very good with the presentation of the little cakes. The frosting was a little sweet for my taste, but if you had a craving for a sweet little snack, then you can try this place out. It is a little expensive considering the size of the cakes, but the presentation and detail is more of what you are paying for.

A unique spin on cupcakes!

I have never seen cupcakes like this before. It’s something different and very creative! They look like actual sushi and they pay very good attention to detail. They are moist on the inside and there are many delicious flavor options to choose from!

Clever and delicious cupcakes

I am a huge cupcake fan and Cupcake Sushi was an amazing treat! They are the perfect bite-sized treat that has a surprise hardshell on the outside and a creamy buttercream frosting and spongy cupcake on the inside. So good! Went back twice while I was there and getting ready to order some for delivery!

Interesting take on Dessert Sushi

Stopped in because the name of the store was just too intriguing to ignore. The owner gave us a sample and we were hooked. Came back the next day to pick up a box for the ride home. The best way to describe it is like a less decadent cake-pop with just the right amount of everything! A must try if you are in town.

These folks catered a wedding we attended and we visited their shop later that week. She could not have been nicer and every flavor that I tried was amazing. She ships anywhere!
