Excellent! We had a great dinner. Mary was our server and her service was impeccable. There were 5 of us so we had many items. Carpaccio. Greek Salad. Mushroom Martini. Duck. Scallops. Crab cakes. Mahi. While fish. Al delicious. Sat out front on a perfect...night. We will be back. Thanks Mary!More

Grand Cafe stood out with its beautiful courtyard, elegant tablecloths, and outdoor seating. It was my birthday dinner and we chose it because of the menu selection and the servers being super safe with social distancing guidelines (outdoor seat, servers wearing masks, temperature taken before...entering). The seafood was delicious and did not disappoint.More

This was a tough choice, since the prices are a little on the high side, but the menu items convinced us to give it a try, and we were not disappointed in the least! For an appetizer, we had the steamed clams in garlic, white...wine, parsley and butter. EXCELLENT! The "juice" was perfect for dipping the fresh bread chunks brought to us earlier. The G/F ordered the Half Roast Duck in Raspberry-orange reduction, with creamed potatoes and asparagus. The duck was cooked to perfection, and not greasy, as duck can often be. I had the Baked Barzino (whole baked sea-bass) baked with lemon, garlic and capers, served with basmati rice and summer salad. WOW - all excellent (the salad was creative and differently delicious). There was a really tempting creme brulee that we saw another table order, but our otherwise attentive, and timely waiter disappeared for 20 minutes after the bus-boy had cleared our plates... the only negative of the entire experience> By the time he finally arrived, we were already late for the festivities at Mallory Square... which we missed completely, as a result. That almost dropped our review to 4 stars, but the food was too good for that.More

I’m a local and this place was a surprise. I have heard about the local discount on September and they did a beautiful job coming up with this idea. I have met so many locals and it was a place to gather together and meet...the community. We were sitting outside at first and then it started raining and we had to move inside and we were so impressed with the style of this place. The bar is something you’ll never see it’s like you are under a sky full of stars, seats and decorations make you feel like at home. Can’t wait to be back to sit at the bar. Food was amazing and service as well.More

Our group of four ate here on the last night of our vacation. Glad we saved it for end of trip because it was great experience. We had reservation and arrived 10 minutes early, but were seated right away. We sat outside right alongside Duvall...Street and could watch the people and activity. Between us, we ate lobster tails, filet steak, mahi mahi, and appetizers. Also tried various cocktails. ALL WAS DELICIOUS! We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some great seafood and ambiance!More

Went here for a delicious dinner. The duck melted in your mouth and the Thai curry was delicious. The service was amazing and porch view of the street on Friday night gave way to lots of colorful characters!

We went out to celebrate our friend’s anniversary, The Grand was having a special so decided to try it out.WOW!! We had the best experience! Mary was our server, she very helpful with the menu and super friendly. My friend and I had the delicious...Strawberry Basil drink. We started off with the Spicy Mussels & the Tuna appetizers. Moved on to the blue cheese and walnut salad and the beet salad. Finished with Seared Scallops, Braised short Rib, Surf and Turf and the Nightly Fish Special. I wish we had room for dessert because I’m sure it would have been amazing! Can’t wait to go back again!More

Good place in the Duval street, great terrace ... BUT the food is not very good and the price not very cheap.. I'm French, and I recommend the Bagatelle (Duval st) or the AZUR restaurant....don't loose time in "grand café"

We stopped just passing this restaurant and were very pleased. We sat on the front porch which gives a great view of the happenings on Duval Street. The waitress was very attentive. The food was very good. I had the linguine with mussels and my...daughter had the burger. Both were very good. There are many restaurants onDuval street but I would highly recommend this one.More
