Cafe Sole has captured the hearts and palates of locals and visitors lucky enough to discover this culinary gem off the beaten path. By combining his French mastery of sauces with fresh locally caught seafood, John has created a menu unlike any on the island, where every dish is bursting with indescribable flavors. Mutton snapper in pesto and champagne, yellowtail in a beurre blanc of lobster or a rare hog snapper with red pepper zabaglione top a list of nightly specials. As for the classics, the Duck a L'Orange, Rack of Lamb with herb de Province and Lobster Bouillaise are as authentic as you will find this side of Paris. Chef Correa combines the best of both of his worlds, European and Caribbean

Came to Cafe Sole at the recommendation of me searching on my phone for great seafood places in Key West. My phone didn't let me down. This was probably one of, if not, the best seafood places that I have ever eaten at. My wife...More

This restaurant is a charming place with a small air-conditioned indoor seating area made even smaller by COVID table spacing. The outdoor seating area is a lovely porch with fans, maybe some cooled air. We sat inside, and I cannot recall from the past. It's...More

I gave Cafe Sole two stars because if you're going to spend just 36 hours in Key West (per the 2015 New York Times article), you shouldn't spend two of them here. Apparently, the locals love it. Sure, my hogfish in beurre blanc was good,...More

An elegant “beachy” setting while located right in Old Town. Open ceiling but table cloths and candle lighting. Excellent seafood cooked by a gourmet chef. A real treat when you need a healthier alternative to fried seafood. This could be your “special” night out celebration.
