Bud lights were $5.50 a bottle and we had the hot roast beef sandwiches. These were like French dips and the roast beef was very tender. Service is a little slow because they are always so busy but not bad. We went here at least 5 times so it was good.

This is a woderful bar to go and drink whatever beverages you want to consume. Also, it is a fun type of place. If you are going here just for the food, you should not gp there. I was pleasantly surprised that the sloppy joe and fries were very good. My wife had a salad that also was good. If you are looking for bar food with noise from bands and people go there, otherwise don't go there.

We had lunch there one afternoon. It was very noisy ... you can’t have a conversation. The service started good and we received our food and drinks in a timely manner however it went downhill from there. Our server NEVER check on us again! We had to track him down for refills and again for the check. The food was your average tourist trap quality food ... did I mention that it was LOUD.

Must go since everyone expects it, and everyone has heard of it. There is always a long line up to get in, so I got there before opening on a Sunday and was first in line so I had a complete choice of seating. Loved the pictures of Cuba, history of Sloppy Joes and especially the pictures of Ernest Hemmingway. The sloppy Joe meat. mix is kind of mild but has a really nice tangy taste to it, especially loved it on the taco salad. Staff checks on you frequently and eager to please accommodating every request. There's life music entertainment and painting through the restroom even the ceiling has adornments. Simply put it help put Key West on the map. Great staff. Recommend the taco salad with sloppy Joe mix, delicious. The appetizers are very popular here. Complete bar service

This was the first time we were able to get in although we have been to Key West a number of times. Even though it is considered a tourist trap, we were able have food and drinks. My wife had a burger and fries, I had a Sloppy Joe which was overflowing the hamburger bun. Mixed drinks were well made and there is also a good selection of beer. It was worth the price and we left fully satisfied.

Stopped by for cocktails and a sloppy joe sandwich after a tour of Hemingway's House where we heard about his history of drinking here. Brilliant live music and friendly service. We were lucky enough to get a table without waiting although it was very crowded. Definitely a fun place to go.

Sloppy Joe's is such an icon it's almost a cliche in Key West, but still always good fun. We stopped in for lunch while wandering around escaping our cruise ship (two families - four adults and four teens) and had a good time - not sure I would recommend very young kids for lunch (a bit loud and crowded) or kids at night when the vibe changes a bit, but for lunch with some live music it's good. Good burgers and snacks, good beer, good service, nice crowd. Will stop in again next visit.

Haven been anxiously waiting for Sloppy Joe's to reopen and join the other restaurants on Duval St. We stopped for lunch today and were very disappointed. The door people were good, some servers looked to be really hustling, but our service was pretty bad. The food was cold and bland. We had two appetizers and two sandwiches, cheeseburger and hot roast beef sandwich and the only thing hot was the au jus. That being said, It is a landmark in Key West and worth a stop for a drink at least if you are visiting. Hopefully they are still getting back into gear after being closed so long.

The bar seems to be the place everyone in Key West goes to. Drinks prices are fair and the food is pretty good. It is loud and crowed at night and there is always some sort of live entertainment. We like to stand out side with a cold one and listen to some music as it is just too crowded for us at night. The is a hotdog card on the corner that sells a good hotdog for a late night snack when the bar is packed.

We spent a pleasant afternoon in Sloppy Joe's listening to live music and enjoying drinks and a snack. The service was very personable and the drinks and food were also very good. We arrived mid afternoon and had no trouble finding a seat but the bar filled up as the afternoon went on.

I guess when In key west you have to stop in sloppy Joe’s, it’s a land mark so we stopped in for lunch and of course I got the sloppy joe sandwich and it did not disappoint. For appetizers we got the smoked fish dip and it was awesome, delicious. Atmosphere is great service was excellent and our server was a local that’s been here for 45 years which I liked it just gave it more of a local feel. Great place

Had to wait for them to open, 12pm on Sundays. The waitress was there quickly and took excellent care of us, kept checking on us throughout the meal. Their Sloppy Joe sandwich was really good and the wife enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp. It's a little pricey, but the history and decorations make up for it.

Yup – it’s a tourist trap with the full overpriced merchandise store but hey, it’s still fun
& a must do while here. Had lunch there, no wait but busy place. Ordered Sloppy Joe (of course), Full moon fish (mahi) sandwich, Peel & eat shrimp – all very good & good size portions. Skip the pizza- pretty blah! Drinks & Prices average. Service fast, friendly, efficient – no issues. Love the history and how we can now say ‘we were there’! Go have Fun!

The food here was absolutely amazing. I got the Original Sloppy Joe and Cajun fries. I absolutely loved it. Their sandwiches do not come with anything, so if you want fries or something with it, you have to order them separately.
The atmosphere here is really friendly. It's a nice and open bar/restaurant with a stage that seems to always have some sort of performance going on.
One thing to keep in mind here is that its first come first serve here. There is no waitlist or anything. You just seat yourself when a table opens. My friend and I went on Sunday and got there 30 minutes before they opened. 5 - 10 minutes after they opened, there were no tables available. If you want to try this place, make sure you get there before they open!

First off:
The place itself: Pretty cool place with a neat history.
It was busy, but not packed. There were just 2 open tables when we got there.
The house band was really good.
The rum runners were mixed just right.
The food......
Ordered a pizza. Good toppings, crust was good, but it was bland.
The 'sauce' was like watered down ketchup. When a hungry teenager only eats 2 slices, you know it is not good.
Fish Tacos: Everything was good except the fish. I know it says fried fish, but it was like a double layer of breading and had no real taste. Broiled or seared fish would have made these great.
A Sloppy Joe: You would think the marquee dish would be good and so did we, but sadly no. The sauce was a little watery and really lacked any spices to make it taste good. The meat was lacking. As she said, "Manwich would have been a step in the the right direction".
