My wife ordered a half slab of Barbecue baby back ribs. I had the special of the day which was a 4 oz filet mignon and seafood pasta. I also ordered a house salad and glass of house cab. Within five minutes the waiter brought out warm mini buns sitting in garlic olive oil covered in Parmesan cheese. They were delicious! My salad came out shortly after and it was fresh and oversized. He brought my wine out in a large wine glass, at least ten oz! Our entrees arrived right after I finished the salad. My wife’s ribs were superb with great flavor and very tender meat that fell off the bone. My filet was good but the pasta was simply amazing. The white cream sauce was the best I’ve ever had and I’m 65! There were scallops, shrimp and fresh fish mixed with the pasta. There were more scallops than anything else and they were so juicy and tender. Neither one of us could finish our entrees and got them to go along with my wine. Oh, and I forgot to mention they provided a free appetizer of fried artichoke hearts that was very tasty. Our waiter provided excellent service. The dinner was $75 which I thought was an exceptional price for two dinners. I highly recommend this place.

We were so disappointed there on Valentines Day for Anniversary and although atmosphere and food was fantastic, the service was so poor it gave us a bad experience. First you should know they poor HUGE glasses of wine, we were not aware so we ordered and bottle and saw the wine pours and new we could have saved money buying by the glass, they are that full, we over heard another excellent waiter explaining that to another table after we ordered a bottle, our waiter did not let us know that, brought a bottle out of white wine and sat it on the table, left, no ice bucket, it was 80 degrees outside, white wine needs to stay chilled, after about 25 minutes when we saw him again we asked for one. The food was outstanding, I ordered a seafood pasta with basil pesto cream sauce, yum..We saw many servers who were very good, we just got unlucky. We saw him maybe 3 times, once ordered wine, 2nd ordered food and when we flagged him down for ice bucket, it wasnt even him that brought food and he didnt clear our table of empty dishes or ask how meal was. Still worth going for the food.

This was our 3rd visit to New York Pasta Garden. Each time we are amazed again at how a restaurant located in a hidden outdoor Mall can be so good. While the outdoor seating was very attractive, we opted to sit inside in the air conditioning. Not as attractive as the outside area surrounded by tropical trees, shrubs and the 2 resident parrots that keep your attention, but the humidity that night dictated our course. We ordered wine, chardonnay for my wife, chianti for me. My house wine fell into the category of $10.75 for an unlimited glass. You drink, they refill. We split a caprese salad with basil - excellent. They brought a basket of garlic ball bread. So good you have to control yourself or end up looking like those round balls of dough. We each ordered the Frutti di Mar, my wife with marinara sauce, I chose the white sauce. This dish was filled with scrumptious seafood, including lobster, over linguini. We left slowly, filled with good food and good feelings. Our waitress made us feel right at home. Very helpful and there when we wanted her. The music was subtly heard as background, not overbearing. The price ' extremely reasonable. We will return on our next Key West trip.

We were on our Honeymoon and looking forward to a break from all the seafood to enjoy some Italian dishes. We read the reviews and scoped out the menu, but left feeling disappointed by our experience. We dined on a Monday evening and it was obvious they were short-staffed. The man who greeted us at the host stand was visibly annoyed, and the other waitress complained to him about some people at one of her tables right in front of us. It was a long time before our server even came to our table, and even longer to get our drinks. We ordered a bottle of champagne and it was basically room temperature when it arrived. We ordered an appetizer that never arrived. Oddly enough, the table next to us had the same thing happen to them! They ordered salads that were forgotten too. On a positive note, our entrees were delicious and very generous portions! The atmosphere is very nice, hidden away from the street in a courtyard with some nice trees and soft lighting. I wish the music playing inside the restaurant could be heard out there as well. Unfortunately all we could hear was the rowdy table next to us, and a large tarp hanging over a storefront behind us blowing next to a loud fan. Even though service was slow, our server was very nice, I think he was just short-staffed but he did the best he could. If I was local to the area I would give this place another shot as there were several dishes on the menu that sounded delicious.

Fixed NY Eve Menu-not very good. Chicken Marsala smothered in dark brown gloppy gravy. Salads mediocre. Prawns appetizer was pretty good. Service indifferent at best and extremely slow-which was OK since we were killing time anyway until midnight. Extremely expensive considering the experience. We had to sit inside instead of the touted gardens-even though we had a reservation. $65.00 per person plus two glasses of wine and mandatory tip $276. Not worth it at all.

The way the meals were served was absolutely tasteless, the taste of the food bellow level, garlic bread swimming in oil literally. No wonder they put themselves the gratuity of 20% because they know they wouldn’t even get 1%. No way you can choose. Wannabe Italian restaurant with misspellings in the menu. To be avoided at all costs.

We were excited to try this place, but were pretty disappointed. I will stress that the while the food wasn’t awful, it wasn’t great either. My husband ordered the flank steak and when the waiter tried to talk him into ordering it medium well I was shocked. He finally ordered medium and said it had good flavor, but the garlic mashed potatoes were bad. I tasted them & they tasted like the garlic was rancid. My frutti di mere had good flavor but the sauce had the consistency of water and the mussels and clams had no flavor and didn’t want to come out of their shells. My husband ordered the cannoli and while it looked great, it had no flavor. If you want dessert order the Key Lime pie, it was good. The atmosphere outside was nice and the service was okay. I just didn’t feel that anything we ate justified the prices we paid. We have had these same dishes all over the states and Italy and had them much better.

Attention to the owner: Chris is not helping you. We ate here for dinner on February 28th. Let me start out with the negative to get it out-of-the-way. The host, Chris, is a really crabby older gentleman who is unfriendly and down right rude. He seemed to not give a care if you ate here or not. He likes to direct you to your tables like he is directing traffic with mostly hands waving and pointing with assorted unsmiling grunts. I also witnessed many times people would say thank you to him or they would complement him on the meal and he would walk away without saying a word. He was so rude in the way he acted towards us initially we almost turned around and walked away. The people who were sitting next to us heard us talking about this and actually commented they almost did not come in because of him as well. We decided to not let him ruin our evening and we were so very glad that we made that choice. Our server Georgi was excellent. He was the antithesis of Chris. Very friendly, very warm and took time to explain the specials. He seemed very grateful for us being there and checked back on us numerous times. In observing the other waitstaff, they also all appeared to be very friendly and customer oriented. Georgi brought us a complimentary appetizer of breaded artichokes that were delicious. He also brought warm garlic bread knots sprinkled with Parmesan cheese that were fantastic! My wife had the Pasta Bella Mare and I had the Frutti di Mare. You had your choice of the type of pasta and they were LOADED with fresh seafood in a yummy sauce. They pour a great glass of wine and we finished our meal with the Lemoncello that was very moist and refreshing. I definitely recommend eating here and hopefully Chris will not be the host when you come.

We went to NY Pasta Garden on the advice of Brian, who is a waiter there (and we’d met him earlier at another place). My wife and I both had seafood pasta meals which were very good and pricing was about what you’d expect for Key West. Brian waited on us that evening and his service was exceptional. The thing that makes this place different than almost everything other KW restaurant is the size of their wine pour....their pour was like a 10oz plus pour, it was huge. We enjoyed everything about our experience.

From the moment we sat our waiter Fletcher was amazing. He recommended the house wine cause of the great deal 10.00 a glass for a 16 oz pour. Also brought us out an appetizer with artichokes which was delicious. Our meals were so huge my husband had lasagna and I had pasta with shrimp and scallops with a sherry sauce was the best I ever had. Neither one of us could finish I wished we had a way to bring the leftovers back to the hotel to eat the next day. We totally will recommend and be back there again when we visit KW

Okay place if you’re starving and nothing else is open wouldn’t recommend it in any other scenario. Pasta sauce was not fresh or good and none of our silverware was clean. My fork came with chunks of old food STILL on it, when I asked for a new one i received an even dirtier fork!

Sat at a table with a horrible heavy dumpster smell, had to change our table ( do not sit in tables by the parking lot). Bread came was hard as a rock. Artichoke appetizer was okay, husbands eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti was pre frozen eggplant with an overcooked salty sauce on top of spaghetti. Meatballs were bagged frozen meatballs with overcooked salty sauce. My meal was pasta Olivera was a salty but eatable. Felt sorry for our waiter, did all he could. He gets 5 stars. Restaurant gets 1star.

New York Pasta Garden is always one of the highlights for me on my many trips to Key West. This time it just wasn't the same. 5 stars for my main course - Shrimp Olivia. But there are many buts. They didn't have their famous garlic rolls when I was there and instead had the garlic in a mini bread loaf. I got their onion soup and on top was a big piece of that bread. It just did not cut it and it wasn't very good. Sadly minus a star. I got a Caesar salad and it came with tomatoes. Sorry but in a Caesar tomatoes do not belong. Most importantly the atmosphere here is real nice with the lights and the birds. I always go solo and it is a great place to just relax and take your time over a great meal. This time they seemed to rush me and it was early evening with only two other parties there so it made no sense. Was not happy with this experience.

Four of us had a pleasant pasta dinner. The outdoor seating is in a quiet courtyard. The food was good but not great. The freshly made pasta dishes were very good; the baked pasta dishes (e.g. lasagna) were very heavy and seemed to have been refrigerated or frozen for a while. The individual salads were large and fresh. We had wine, which came in very large servings in large glasses. It was good for the price but way too much for us. (We had previously had cocktails elsewhere.) The service was excellent. If you're in the mood for a relaxing, fairly quiet dinner, this is a good place.

We chose this place because of the outdoor seating. Nice covered patio with parrots and birds. The main attraction was “Tango”. Our server was Fletcher. He went above and way beyond. If you drink wine get the bottomless glass it’s well worth it. He brought a salary, garlic knots, and bartered artichoke fritters our with our drinks. We also order the bruschetta and coconut shrimp. Then it began to rain lightly but we were good because of the trees. We had 6 in our party and ordered various meals as the main dish. While enjoying the apps and drinks it began to pour down rain. Fletch was quick to act and moved our entire table under some cover. He continued with the wonderful service even thought he had to walk through the rain. We also had desserts. A chocolate cheesecake, lemon cake and tiramisu. All I can say is order everything we did. You won’t be disappointed. When we go back to Key West this is now a must eat stop!
