Just happened in for what we heard was a pretty good Happy Hour, to our surprise it was an excellent Happy Hour! So much so we ordered beyond the great Happy Hour menu and found the food to be exceptional! First, let me begin with the Happy Hour menu, not the typical fried fish that you will find everywhere else... More

We had just arrived and stumbled on Bagatelle, knowing nothing about it. We both had the seafood chowder which was wonderful. In fact I would have been happy with a big bowl of it and nothing else. But then the swordfish arrived. I had the menu version and my wife the special. Both were excellent with a very generous portion... More

Started our day here, with brunch had the chicken and waffles and it was great. They have very good Bellinis. The service was outstanding!

We just walked hope and hoped we could get in without a reservation. We were seated quick on the upstairs balcony over looking Duval St. the waitress was Friendly but a little slow. There were tables around that came after us and left before use. But weren't in any real hurry so in some sense it was not a big... More

Very good food, fair pricing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sat on the patio, and enjoyed the sunshine.

Lovely building, we sat on the porch which was perfect for people watching. We both had the crab cake eggs benedict which was really good and I would highly recommend. Staff were very attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

The smoked salmon platter was incredible. The view from the outdoor, upstairs seating area was very good. A great people-watching spot!

I stopped in to get breakfast and sat on the upstairs balcony over looking Duval Street. I enjoyed the view and people watching but most of all, I enjoyed not being in the rain. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. The meal was extremely good. I would definitely go back!

Dined at Bagatelle one of the evenings we stayed at Key West. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We sat upstairs, street side. The food was delicious and so too were the cocktails. I had been recommended the hogfish and was not disappointed. The server was very accomodating and was able to change things on the menu to suit my... More

A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.
