This is our third year coming to Key West for our Anniversary. This is our first stop and our last stop!! The Lobster Pizza is the best dish in Key West!! I have never had anything like it!! Deliciousness in every bite!! For drinks I love the Rock Candy Mojito so unique and fresh and of course the kid in me always ask for extra rock candy!! My husband well he is a Painkiller, Rumrunner and knock you on your rear drinker!! He goes for all their really strong drinks!! He says they are the best!! The atmosphere is heavenly ocean view dining!! The service is on spot every time!! Fast, friendly and very efficient!! This visit the owner came out and thanked us for returning each year!! Talk about above and beyond customer service!! This is our favorite place in Key West and we love everything about it!! You will too!! So don’t miss it!!

We went to the Seaside around 3:30-4 for a late lunch before Sunset Celebration and had no wait. It was a lovely setting, tiered levels of tables so all could view the ocean, the back chairs had comfy cushions like patio furniture. You feel at once you're at a friend's wonderful and welcoming back yard! The menu selection isn't the biggest, but what they have is very fresh and super delicious. The prosciutto and caprese sandwiches we ate were superb, the bread unique and simply delicious.
I spied a colorful stray buoy from some fishing boat with its rope jammed in the ocean rocks and wanted to take it home...they enthusiastically produced a pair of scissors and a kitchen knife to extract it! I have it at home in AZ!
Thanks Guys, you are a nice bunch of folks with true "Keysie" style and heart!! I love KEY WEST and Seaside Cafe!!

Wandered to the east end of Duval today, just past the Southernmost Point, and grabbed lunch here. It was terrific. Welcomed by a great host, Andy, and waitstaff, we were seated seaside in this open air patio restaurant. As another guest was leaving I heard them raving about the lobster wood-fired pizza and the conch fritter appetizer. That’s what we had and both were tasty. Thin crust pizza, just the right amount of sauce to cheese, big pieces of lobster. Fritters were good, a little greasy, but the mustard-key lime dipping sauce was fantastic. Along with a margarita and soda, plus tip for the good service, lunch came in at US$60.

I was honestly disappointed here and was truly surprised by it. I went on Christmas Eve and had a great waiter. I had the Island Poke Cups as an appetizer and they were amazing. But the honey butter lobster biscuits were not good at all for me. The biscuits were greasy and overpowering in taste. Their texture and flavor did nothing to add to the taste of the lobster. I ate one biscuit and they were too sweet for me to even attempt the other. I ate just the lobster salad pretty much and it was ok and a small portion. What got me the most was that many waiters were wearing gaiters for covid protection but many pulled them down to talk to customers or were just walking around with them pulled down all the way while around guests. They also allowed customers to walk around without wearing masks. I honestly really didn't feel safe. If not for being outside in the fresh air I would have left. Of course the atmosphere is lovely and the view did indeed add to my Christmas Eve. But sadly this restaurant goes on the been there - done that list.

What a cool place to take lunch, the atmosphere is beautiful, you're dining at a table in the sand right next to the ocean, and a gentle sea breeze to enjoy. A historic Key West mansion is the back drop, so much to see here. The server was very attentive, and the owner even dropped by the table to see that we were satisfied. The brick oven pizza was perfect. It's a very quiet and secluded spot with a nice Key West personal touch to it.

We were there the day after the 1 year anniversary of this restaurant. It had opened just after our annual trip to Key West last year. We will return next year without question. This food truck has SO many things going for it, from the host, to the wait staff, kitchen staff, Michael the owner, the view, and last but not least, the food itself! We had the lobster biscuits, corn pizza, salad, lobster pizza, and key lime/pina colada pie. Everything was excellent. While we were comfortably sitting, enjoying the amazing view and waiting for our food, there was a faint smell of funnel cakes. I didn't know where it was coming from until I tasted the biscuit. The biscuit was fantastic, something slightly familiar to the taste of a funnel cake somehow. The jalepeno honey was amazing on it, but it was also tasty without. The pizzas, salad, lobster biscuits, and pie were all fantastic in their own way. It would be too hard to choose a favorite. Michael was so friendly and personable, even giving us a tour and history lesson of the Southernmost House. AMAZING! See you next year, can't wait!

I wanted to order a few items based on the reviews so my husband and I shared the coconut shrimp, salad and honey biscuit lobster rolls. They divided the salad for us and the lobster rolls come with two biscuits so it was easy to share. You can order regular or spicy and my husband wanted spicy. The only glitch was when they came and we started eating, we didn’t know that the spicy one had a jalapeño slice on it so I ended up with that one. I would have liked less spice but we didn’t realize soon enough. Everything was excellent, including my Bacardi mojito. The regular French fries were good but not anything out of this world. We parked about a half block away on Duval in a public parking lot where there were plenty of spaces on this particular day ($10 for two hours). We were able to walk to the Hemingway house from the same lot - only a few blocks walk.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch as I had read that they offered gluten-free pizza and ocean front tables. It is a very small place and is part of "The Southernmost House" hotel right on the beach. I have many food allergies in addition to gluten and they were very willing to let me put together a pizza from their ingredients to fit my needs. (Their pizza sauce does not have onion or garlic in it, for those of you can't tolerate these). The owner, Michael, came over to our table to see how I liked the crust as he put much effort into making a gluten free crust recipe that tasted just like regular pizza crust. Well, he was successful! The crust was excellent as was the lobster, fresh ingredients tomato sauce, green peppers and fresh arugula toppings on it. After lunch, he took us on a tour of the lobby of his hotel and explained backstories of all the historic documents he has on display in the lobby. The hotel itself is darling with a gorgeous infinity-like private pool. It was a place of peace and tranquility in a now very bustling and busy Key West. The friendly atmosphere, great food and hospitality make it a place not to miss on your next trip to Key West!

Wow!! This place is the perfect dinner spot! The service is exceptional, the view is gorgeous, literally tables next to the ocean with waves rolling in and watching the sunset. The best part was the food though!! Literally the best pizza we ever had! The crust was so light and yet just the right crispy and the ingredients were so flavorful!! Trust me not like any pizza you’ve had! The owner gave us a private tour of the historical house after dinner. Full of treasures!! Looking for lunch or dinner spot? Go here, you will be dreaming about this pizza later!

We arrived at the cafe around 2PM hoping to get a set on the ocean-side patio and after about an hour wait, we were seated right beside the ocean. The drinks were served quickly and our lobster pizza soon followed. Our only complaint was that we felt rushed to leave our table. Our plates were whisked away and the check was placed on the table before we had a chance to swallow our last bites.

New place for us. It was a windy and chilly Super Bowl Sunday night for our visit. The Maitre' d offered to seat us indoors in the Mansion and that was a relief but also an opportunity for the staff to get warmed up and for us to chat at length with them. Being unfamiliar with the menu, we inquired about their specialties and quickly settled on a honey pizza and an order of conch fritters with some Key Lime pie for desert, and were rewarded not only with an over-the-top and delightful meal, but a step by step prep session from the Maitre D (who turned out to be the owner of the Mansion) and his son (who owned the kitchen portion of the place and is a Johnson & Wales classically trained chef in his own right) At their recommendation, we also sampled a number of other menu items that we knew we'd order on our next visit (ex: lobster roll s made with Maine lobster). What an experience. You could see the passion the staff (including Hailey our waitress) had for their restaurant. We were doted on like royalty and were delighted. Of course we were the only ones in the place, so we clearly had to try it when the weather was better and the paced was jammed. Two days later, we did just that at lunch and even though there were different faces among the staff, we were seated promptly and treated like royalty again. Oh and the food (especially the Maine lobster roll) was super yummy..
This is not a fancy place (at least the Cafe component) but will be a regular stop in the future.

We visited Seaside Cafe based on a recommendation from friends. We couldn't thank them enough for directing us to this amazing gem of a restaurant. What an experience! The food was some of the very best we have ever had - with immaculate attention to every detail. It is obvious the chef and owner are passionate about serving only the highest quality food to their customers. I have to agree with the many reviews I read that the lobster roll is an absolute must. If you visit Key West and don't make it to Seaside, you have truly missed out.

We were in Key West for three nights and ate here every single night because why go anywhere else? All of the seating is outdoors and you cannot beat the view. That alone may be enough to justify coming here but the food - OH MY! Lobster, lobster, and more lobster. Our favorite is the lobster pizza. I've joked that I wish my husband would look at me like he looked at that pizza. Hahaha! It is even better leftover the next day so be sure to take the leftovers if there are any! The caprese sandwich is also amazing. The bread is made to order in the woodfired oven and cannot be beat. This may be a "food truck" essentially but the food is worthy of a fine restaurant. There is something really nice about being able to be casual, sit outside with a beautiful view, and enjoy such delicious food and drinks. Luke made us feel like honored guests, always remembering our names and what we liked. Michael, the owner of the Southernmost House was also very attentive and kind. Plus, we felt so safe here during covid. Everyone was wearing masks, lots of sanitizing and sitting outside. We were so relaxed here and keep going back in our minds. Can't wait to return in person - my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

This place is fantastic for so many reasons. We've already eaten here three times on this visit to Key West.
First, the location right on the ocean is perfect for lunch or dinner with the sound of the waves lapping the shore and the great views. I took this shot last night while dining at the water's edge.
Second, the food is a real treat and reasonably priced. The truffle fries are excellent, the poke cups are creative and perfect for anyone who loves poke, the conch fritters are the best we have tried in Key West, and the coconut shrimp is probably the best coconut shrimp I have ever had anywhere (my tip- get it with the aioli sauce instead of the regular sauce it comes with).
However, the wood fired pizzas are probably the biggest draw. We have tried the Fun Guy Truffle pizza (mushroom, caramelized onion, truffle, white sauce), the spicy salami with honey, and of course, the lobster pizza. They are all excellent, but I think the Fun Guy truffle is the best for anyone who enjoys truffle. We have not tried the lobster biscuits, but a table next to us had them- the biscuits looked decadent.
Third, the staff here is stellar. Every person who has waited on us has gone above and beyond to be hospitable. In a tourist town like Key West, we have found that to be a bit rare. On two occasions, the owner was right there and stopped us on our way out to check how our meal was. We appreciated that. I am always a believer (from my own family business) that having the owner present is a key to a good experience- especially in a restaurant.
We would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Key West.

I contacted Seaside Cafe a few weeks before our 15th anniversary trip to try and get a reservation for our anniversary dinner given their excellent Trip Advisor rating. Mack was quite hospitable and just asked that I contact them when I got to town the day before our dinner to finalize the reservation. I reached out upon our arrival and was given a 7:00 reservation with a water's edge table. I contacted them the next day with a slight time change which Luke was very accommodating of and had excellent customer service in welcoming us. When we arrived, Luke again was our first point of contact and welcomed us to the bar for a drink while we had a very short wait for our table. Luke introduced us to the manager Andy, owner, Mike, and our server Alicia. We had a wonderful evening with excellent drinks (mojito was a gem), salad with a lobster biscuit, and lobster pizza. The hospitality was top notch and we were even treated to a complementary piece of Key Lime pie to recognize our special day. While that in itself would have topped off a wonderful evening, Andy then graciously offered us a tour of the mansion gave us a splendid insight to the history of the property. Thank you Seaside Cafe Staff for making our 15th anniversary the best day of all the years to date. Sincerely, Sarah and Kory Lambert
