Date & Thyme is a neighborhood cafe and market offering fresh, healthy, organic food and products that support well-being and a balanced lifestyle. It is a place to shop, connect, and be uplifted. ​ Our Cafe closes daily at 2pm and our Market is open until 5pm with a robust selection of house made items in our grab & go for those who come in after our Cafe closes at 2pm.

Our biggest gripe about travel is finding healthy food - we usually have very limited options and just have to manage. We were so happy to find Date & Thyme, which offers delicious vegan and vegetarian options, and really imaginative recipes, all with snappy service that's affordable.
The Kale Salad and Indian Summer Salad were two of our favorites but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Even the oatmeal was great (we would love the recipe to make this at home!). It's easy to feel at home here with the relaxed outdoor seating. The people working here were also incredibly helpful.
We ate here every day for breakfast and lunch and enjoyed every minute of it. Whoever build the recipes has done an amazing job - we only wish there was another Date & Thyme closer to where we live, but I guess we'll just have to visit Key West again. Until next time!

We enjoyed the smoothies. They make their own coconut milk for the smoothies here. They limit the number of people in the store. You wait outside, and when the light turns green, one person can go in. We asked for a smoothie without an ingredient and they were ok with leaving out an ingredient.

Honest Eco provides a lunch from Date and Thyme on their day long kayak, snorkel and dolphin sale. Wonderful lunch and snacks. Loved the fresh fruit, salads and hummus. Great refreshing food .

I wish I’d discovered this place earlier in our trip as healthy nutritious food isn’t on offer in many places in Key West.
I bought some provisions in the grocery store (I would have bought more if I could have kept the food cool). The Indian summer salad from the fridge was amazing and so fresh. Smoothies were also great and quick service with a smile.
I wish every town had a place like this rather than just the fast food crap most places offer. This place offers amazing nutritious food at good prices. Would highly recommend!

I always stay at a hotel nearby this place when in Key West and end up eating several breakfasts and lunches here each visit. The food is super fresh, the vegan and vegetarian options are fantastic, and it is healthy and doesn't weigh me down on hot days. There are also options for my non-veg family members. This time, I bought groceries for the hotel room as well, and they kept me well stocked on everything I needed. Love Date & Thyme!

I was introduced to Date & Thyme through a catered lunch on our eco-tour in Key West, and it was so delicious, I ended up here for lunch again, soon after. Their menu offers the freshest healthy options, with super-food smoothies and variety of acai bowls, plus more substantial wraps and sandwiches. Every thing that I tried was exceptional, and was made to keep up your energy in the heat! Thanks for bringing the freshness!

This is a great spot to get some healthy and tasty food away from the hedonous Duval St. I felt more able to indulge when I had a couple vegatarion meals here to offset the fatty foods I consumed on the rest of my trip. I got the chickpea and veg salad which was tasty and filling. I believe their stuff is all organic as well. The prices are fair. Check it out on your next trip to Key West!

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Key West. All food and drink choices are made from great produce and prepared wonderfully. The tastes are delicious and the service is warm and and caring. Eating here (and shopping too, they also have a grocery store) is being part of a community. This time I took an açai bowl and a hot pink juice. Good and enjoy!

I've been in Key West for three weeks. I come to Date & Thyme each afternoon for their Avocado Toast, one of the many outstanding offerings on the daily menu. This dish, which can be eaten on premises at their outdoor patio or taken to go, is consistently satisfying. The bread is from an authentic French bakery on island (Le Grignote) and toasted to perfection. It is topped with a plentiful helping of fresh, sliced avocado and a lovely side salad of greens, cherry tomatoes, thin cucumber slices, a lime wedge and herbs.
The avocado toast, while my favorite, is not the only healthy and delicious item on the extensive menu. This is not just a breakfast/lunch establishment either. It doubles as a market with a variety of items from their shelves, including refrigerated pre-packaged items such as Tabouli Quinoa and an autumn salad.
If you are looking for a healthy, wholesome and most delicious break from all the fast food items on Duval Street make this your next stop. The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and happy people. Hats off especially to Lindsay who made a point of checking with me each and every day on how my meal was prepared.
Very highly recommended!!!

One can eat outside on their cute terrace or take away. Lots of GF, Vegan, Veggie offerings or simply healthy options (I had the Egg with Avocado on a WW bagel). So many choices at the market. Great coffee, and Acai bowls and friendly service (the lady who served me was also from Kent!). We will return.

Needed some sandwiches for a boat trip and this place was near our hotel. We’d passed it a few times, but I’m so glad we went in. Amazing coffee, cool vibes, tasty food and delicious yogurt. We had some grab and go chunky monkey coconut yogurt that cured my hangover and was so delicious. The breakfast wrap and bagel was so fresh and held up well through travel. The staff were efficient, accommodating, and wonderful! Will definitely be back for a smoothie and to try some other menu items soon!

Food from Date and Thyme is awesome! Our family has gluten free, vegan and vegetarian folks and we could eat this food! And it was GOOD food! Cannot say enough good things about our lunch from Date & Thyme.

The Breakfast Bagel with Tempeh was so good that I had it 2 days in a row. I also had the Key Lime Pie Smoothie and added plant protein. Very fresh and healthy options that are filling and dont leave you feeling sluggish after you eat them! I will be back for sure!

There aren't as many fresh/healthy eating options as I would have expected in Key West so was glad to find this place. If you're someone who's on a funky diet - gluten free, soy-free, vegan, paleo, keto.....this is your place. Small shop with kitchen and outside dining. They sell all the typical high end gf/paleo type foods like Siete chips/wraps, Canyon Bakehouse bread, fulvic minerals, black water, etc. Not cheap, but this is the going cost of healthy foods. Workers were very pleasant and helpful. Really enjoyed the gf breakfast wrap (siete wrap). Too much lettuce in it, but the sauce was awesome. Be sure you don't wait to long to eat it or the bottom starts getting pretty drippy. Acai bowl was fresh and delish. Enjoyed some other items from the market for later in our trip as well. Parking available in front.

We stay at a B+B nearby and love everything about Date & Thyme. Well stocked market and fabulous and fresh wraps, salads, and other healthy and delicious things. It's our tradition when heading to the airport to return home to get two wraps to go to eat on the plane. It helps to extend our Key West chill at least part of the flight home.
