My friend surprised me and took me to Pilot House. The hostess and waiter were very helpful and pleasant. The food he had he really enjoyed. Mine was good but I really enjoyed the coleslaw and shrimp. I am very picky about coleslaw when I...eat anywhere. But theirs was very good.More

I rarely take the time to review restaurants but, following a long, long drive from Miami and high expectations after months of quarantine, this was such a disappointment. We found the Pilot House online searchIng for good Fresh seafood dives That the Keys have in...abundance. Might once have been true of this place but certainly not now. The menu offered about half the choice as shown online. Understandable in these times, but almost ALL signs of “fresh” have disappeared. Our selections from the list of appetizers were definitely previously frozen, sloppily prepared (“crispy” calamari was anything but), fish tacos under-seasoned (except for half a shaker of salt) and the children’s chicken fingers were some sort of mystery meat — greenish-brown and difficult to even saw through. The only pluses were two fabulous margaritas and a darn good and friendly waiter. He was the only staff member who cared. No one Else made us feel welcome or bothered to thank us for coming all that way. I certainly don’t mind paying for an excellent meal but this was so mediocre. Really spoiled our outing.More

Shocking customer service.. Asked a passing staff if I could get a drink. Reply was only.. Im not a waitress.. no sorry, no I’ll get someone for you...how rude!! She only went afterwards to sit down and watched her do nothing but play with her...phone and pick a spot on her arm. Clearly was more important than giving good customer service. Why the boss pay her I wonder? At time of corona crisis job would be suited to someone more helpful with better initiative. Otherwise setting by the marina nice. Live music night, food good.. steaks, mussels great sauce!!More

The patio seating was nice, the live music perfect. Our waitress was super sweet but none of the food was "wow". It was all good but not amazing. My favorite part was just being near the boats and watching them negotiate the tight area within...the marina. Impressive.More

We stopped at for a snack and a drink. Not only were the drinks mixed by bartender DJ great and food great but social distancing, sanitizing are also practiced. The menu was sanitized in front of us.

Dropped in to the Pilot House for lunch. Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating overlooking the marina. Both my friend and I were in the mood for salad so I ordered a caesar salad with blackened shrimp and she ordered a house salad with grilled shrimp....Both types of shrimp were made to perfection; flavorful and tasty. The salads were fresh and crisp. The caesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing. Our drinks were kept filled and the service was good. We were there right when it opened at 11:30am. The iced tea was fresh and nicely sweetened. There used to be a clear deck where you could sit and watch the underwater activity. Unfortunately, it has been covered with wood planks. The view is still relaxing and beautiful. I will definitely return!More

Had dinner here a few months ago (pre-covid timing). It was a fine dinner with nothing extra ordinary to note. Service and food were average but the food was a little pricey for what you got. It does provide a very Florida keys, relaxed "tiki...bar" atmosphere.More

We enjoyed our stop at Pilot House. The atmosphere is friendly and sitting on the water in the marina is nice. However, the glass bottom bar that they advertise is very underwhelming. We had a few appetizers that were just ok. The peel and eats...were good. I would recommend the tuna nachos, but the conch fritters were more like hush puppies and had a lot of filler. The drinks were just ok. A little pricey overall for the quality.More

Cesar Salad was good and my husband had the Lobster Ruben. Lobster was very chewy. Beautiful marina location and staff was friendly, but very expensive for what we got.

We made 2 good dinners here of the nice happy hour offerings. The views and marina location are great. Has a glass bottom bar. Lots of locals.
