The venue is quite lovely, the food is delicious but only a 4 because the service from the time we got to the hostess stand to being seated and ordering was a bit of a challenge. That said, Sundowners is an amazing place to relax,...More

Good spot for food and views of sunset. Started off with the crab dip - very good and not overloaded with cheese and hot spices. Hogfish was cooked right and very tasty. Separate vegetarian and gluten free menus available with plenty to choose from. Outstanding...More

We took a sunset tour and decided to have dinner out at the last moment. It was a busy Saturday night and they were still able to accommodate us. We had great service and the food was really good. Highly recommend the baby back ribs,...More

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Sundowners as we headed out to our next stop in Florida City, FL. The scallops in a garlic butter sauce were to die for and The Old Man and the Hogfish Tacos were fantastic. Can’t wait to return.

We ate lunch here. Nice water views and deck seating. Menu extensive. We recommend the shrimp grapefruit salad. The lime honey dressing is excellent. The key lime pie is one of the best we’ve had in the keys, but it is pricey - $8.99.

Miscommunication between servers was quickly taken care of. Food was excellent and so was the view but the food is pricey. I ordered the grilled chicken/bacon/avacado sandwich (cheapest thing on the menu) and would recommend it.

Spoke to the owner yesterday. Named fish is the way you prepare it. Usually is Mahi-mahi. It’s prepared with olive oil, salt and pepper. Yes, you can have it prepared for lunch and dinner anytime any day.
