My friend and I were on a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives tour through South Florida last week. We found DiGiorigo's Cafe Largo on a list of restaurants Guy Fieri visited. It seemed like a good break from seafood. The atmosphere was old, not quaint old,...just old. There was a lovely mural on the wall. It was not busy the night we went for dinner. My friend thought the food was very good. I liked the food but thought it was overpriced for what we received. The problem came with the bill. The tip was clearly marked as $19.00. When my friend checked her bank account a day later, the tip had increased by $84.00. A phone call was made to the restaurant and my friend was told she could only speak with a manager, who was not available, and she would receive a call back. My friend tried a couple more phone calls but received no response. After a week of not hearing from DiGiorgio's Cafe Largo, she contacted her bank and was told an investigation into the charge would be initiated. My friend tried the restaurant one more time and left a message stating she wanted an immediate return call or she would dispute the charge with her bank and an investigation would ensue. Low and behold, a man from DiGiorgio's Cafe Largo responded. He was not apologetic or overly accommodating. He provided some lame story regarding the waitress thinking $19.00 was really $103.00. He reluctantly agreed to refund the $84.00 to my friend's bank account. We are holding our breath waiting to see if DiGiorgio's Cafe Largo will act with integrity and follow through with the refund. If they do not the Bank will get the money back through an investigation. I would not recommend this restaurant due to their lack of responsibility and customer service. If you do go, check your receipt and your bank account for the correct charge.More

WOW! I am very surprised. I did not know about the other calls. I called you within 10 minutes of receiving the message. I looked up your transaction before I called you to have it ready. Servers on computers make mistakes all the time. The...More

Wonderful Italian food, very good service, we were staying next door at a resort and just walked over. I had Gorgonzola linguini with spinach, mushrooms, artichokes and chicken and the house wine. My husband had penne pasta with sausage and peppers .

Stopped here this night for a little Italian food on our vacation and were not disappointed. I had Parmesan crusted Yellowtail over risotto - my husband had the tour of Italy and daughter had a vodka pasta with chicken. All excellent. The garlic knots were...superb. Dinners came with soup or salad.More

Bartender Chad: fun loving with dad jokes, yet knows when to stop 😂. Tour of Italy dish of 3 pasta types was Mangia Mangia delicious!! Took the 3rd portion ToGo. Italian beer, Peroni, and Chianti wine: can’t go wrong! It’s a large space, so able...to accommodate bigger parties. Keep in mind Tourists: All the Keys are short staffed, be patient! And, they can’t hire more, if no one applies for open positions!!More

Certainly not what I expected for Italian food. Red sauce tasted like it came out of a jar and CB lam sauce was terrible. I don’t know what Guy Ferrier saw in the place.

Very happy to find a good Italian restaurant with a varied menu in Key Largo. It was not overly crowded in a mid week stay and we felt comfortable with the indoor setting The wine list was a decent size

Horrible service, as we waited 30 minutes for someone to approach our table. When the server came to to the table she asked for our order no hello no sorry it took so long nothing. We ordered after another 30 minutes and several attempts to...ask for our drinks and food the hostess came to the table and said sorry do you want to order any food. When the food and drinks finally arrived it was horrible un edible and coldMore

I saw this on Diners Drive in and Dives and wanted to try it. It was so dissappointing. The Mahi fish was old and rubbery and VERY fishy tasing. The Veal chaps were tough and grizzley. My sons fish had a very heavy cream sauce...over it. Way to much for a deliciate fish like yellowtail. They only have 2 salad dressings to choose from and one was oil and vinegar. Very nice wait staff and super apologtic, but we would never go back or recommend itMore

The food was great but the service was some of the worst I have had in a very long time. My expectation is that our server either quits, realizing that he is in the wrong business, or worse. Hopefully it was an anomaly as the...food they served deserves a far better presentation than what we got.More

This was recommended by some friends. We ardered two glasses of wine and the asked for time to read the extensive menu. Five minutes later the waited came back to tell us the drinks were being prepared and to take our order. We asked to...share a calamari. We ordered medallions of beef and rack of lamb. We were then told these came with a soup or a salad. This was not indicated on the menu, we would not have bothered with tha calamari if we had known. The calamari arrived 10 minutes later, before our wine. It was chewy and inedible. When the waiter arrived with our wine we told him this, he took it away and said he would tell the chef. Our main courses arrived. The quality of the meat was fine, but both were just slopped on a mound of mash swimming in gravy. The salads we had ordered never arrived. We said so when the waiter returned with our bill. He disappeared. They weren’t busy, but it was obvious that the people sat at the bar (family or friends) were more important to them. I couldn’t be bothered to complain so paid and left.More

Cafe was very charming and the food good. Decor is what you would expect with the Italian theme, but nothing special.

Really wonderful place with beautiful murals of Venice. The choices were wide- something to please any craving. Food was served hot and delicious. Our wait person was very attentive and courteous. The cannoli are to die for!
