Covid beware! They are not happy to be open or wanting patrons. They about panicked at our group of 10 you would have thought we walked in with leopard spots. The managers attitude was awful and rude. We even offered to split tables when she...rolled off the cuff that’ll be a 40 minute wait. Clearly they didn’t want business. After a long weekend in key west headed back to SWFL I can say this is far subpar to the service we have received anywhere!More

Both appetizers and dishes were fantastic, bacon wrapped scallops and fried gator bites, delicious. Dove Creek style fish (we had Mahi and Hogfish) was to die for, and I’ll be back for some of the key lime pie to try (we were stuffed from dinner)....Absolutely worth a visit, and an awesome place to go if you’re in walking distance especially (the drinks were also great). Seating is all outside and picturesque.More

A nice casual spot right on the Atlantic! The drinks, food and service was spot on! And the view.. WOW! The live music matched the mood for dinner perfectly! My husband and I both started off with Lobster Bisque and Caesar Salad which were both...delicious! We shared the Shellfish Scampi, also delicious and plenty of food for two! We finished the meal off with a to die for Brownie A La Mode!! No complaints from these happy travelers!! We would absolutely recommend!!More

I had never eaten here but the couple we were with insisted it was great and hadn't been back since before Hurricane Irma - they weren't wrong! We stopped in on our way back to Miami after a day at John Pennecamp and brewery tour....The food was very tasty - I had the seafood tacos with blackened mahi and a nice cold beer. There was live music and were practicing social distancing by only allowing dining outside. I would definitely be back.More

We stayed next door at MB Resorts n/k/a Dove Creek Lodge and enjoyed Snappers two nights. Conch chowder was spicy and good. Nice house salad with bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles. Best dish was seafood pasta, which included half of a lobster, shrimp, mussels...and scallops. Loved the view and the live music.More

We had to wait for up to 2hrs which on a holiday wkd in the Keys is not surprising but they send you a link so you can keep an eye on where you are in line - we went home got showered and then...returned when we were like 5th in line - perfect! i had the champagne sauce hogfish - delish! we were very spaced out and there was a guy on the guitar - worth the wait!More

Ambience 5 Beautiful beach front location with an outdoor dock patio surrounded by mangroves. Sitting outside at this restaurant is a must if you want the real experience. Service 5 Waiter (Robby) was polite and attentive even asking in what order we wanted our appetizers...presented. This may not seem like a big deal but many restaurants fail in the presentation of appetizers especially when ordering multiple apps. Food 4 out of 5 Seared Yellowtail - apart from the missing or very light sear, the tuna was fresh and delicious. Would recommend more of a chat on the outside 3-5 Tuna Nachos - perfect balance of raw tuna, wasabi sauce and crispy nacho. Fish Dip - everyone in Florida brags about their fish dip, but to be honest I have yet to try one that actually stands out. The fish dip at Snappers is something to be remembered, not too fishy and definitely not bland. I had a good amount of heat which I like in a fish dip. So far the best I’ve had in Florida. Mussels - Beautiful presentation but unfortunately the mussels were overcooked and almost inedible. The broth was a strong four, but I’ve had better. Overall this is a nice little spot. Would not call it Michelin worthy, but the ambiance is great, staff friendly and we had some very nice dishes here, would recommend for a casual dinner for family or date night.More

Snappers was recommended by hotel staff and to be honest we were disappointed. We are Florida natives and spoiled by the quality and availability of really good seafood and this just didn't make the mark for us. The daily special appetizer was a lobster roll...which had way too much breading on it so it ended up being mostly fried batter and very little lobster. I ordered shrimp tacos and was very surprised at the presentation. Only 3 blackened shrimp per taco and little flavor in the slaw. They were served with sour cream and guac which is highly unusual for shrimp tacos. Mixed drinks were very small, maybe 4 ounces and not great. Another member of our party had the chicken alfredo and decscribed it as very good. The peanut butter chocolate cake was dry. Luckily, they have a beautiful deck that overlooks the water and live music playing. We weren't unhappy as we left, but I wouldn't go for the seafood again.More

I saw someone doing it , but with their own food. IMO it’s not really appropriate to do it
