Good experience. Good seafood but there’s better around. Slow service but really nice waiter. On the water at night it was really hot and mosquitoes came out. The hostess came out and offered bug spray.

We stopped by on our way back from key largo. Had a great meal with a view of the water and some live music in the afternoon. Would highly recommend anyone who enjoys waterfront dining to stop in!

I've been going there for years and it just keeps going down since new owners got it. Food not as good. Good items gone from menu. Service not so good. Sitting by the water used to be a treat there and now you just look...into a dirty mess of garbage and seaweed. You would think they would clean it up themselves.More

Walter our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of what was offered by the restaurant. The view was very good the food and quantity was excellent. I would and will highly recommend this restaurant. The rest of the staff were also very pleasant and helpful.

We stayed overnight at Snappers accommodation . It wasn’t glamorous, but it was clean and safe, which is all we needed. Water pressure in shower was poor, so if you have long hair like me, wash it before you book in LOL. We had a...lovely view from our patio and we just loved the quirky atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant section. Only negative is that although there was supposed to be wifi, we couldn’t access it and no staff seemed too bothered about this . We got the feeling this was no surprise - other guests we spoke to has the same problem. However, the restaurant severed the best food. Great live entertainment in a beautiful spot. All in all, a very positive experience I would return.More

On a 6 day stay in Islamorada our resort recommended Snapper’s. We were so glad they did. We actually ate there twice. There were plenty of great selections on the menu and believe it or not more than just chicken nuggets for the kids. First...night there was a small band with a really good female singer. Second visit there was a guitar player who interacted with the restaurant patrons. Very nice. They waitress/waiter staff were fast and pleasant particularly with the kids. The manager Dawn was very helpful. Can’t wait to go back!!More

We have been to Snappers before Irma and just after Irma. We returned while staying in Islamorada after a 2 year absence. We were told it took a long time to bring the place up to code before they could reopen the kitchen. Not much...changed. There is still a bad smell coming from the bathroom and what's with the long narrow walk way to the men's room? The inside is still unimpressive and smelly. The outside is nice and food was ok. I had the beer battered Mahi. The resort we stay at has weber grills which we used more during this visit. On the plus side the band that was playing was very good.More

We ate here twice in one week because the food was better than anywhere else we went. There's a big outdoor, waterfront dining area with a great view and live entertainment. The outdoor bar is also big if you're just looking to have a drink.

Stopped here because my husband initially only wanted a photo with the sign as he works with a gentleman whose nickname is “Snapper”. Decided to stop in for dinner and we’re not disappointed. My husband had a blackened fish sandwich and my daughter and I...had shrimp tacos (she had grilled, I had fried and we swapped one so we had one of each). They were absolutely delicious!! Also there’s a beautiful views and a manatee who likes to stop by the dock area which was very cool. Highly recommend.More

We enjoyed the set up. Nice to have food, drinks and live music on the water. The food was just ok. Kiersten was awesome. We tried boiled shrimp, raw oysters, fish tacos, gator bites and the soup of the day. The soup was the star...of the show. Was a bit pricey.More

We went my husband and I to eat at this place twice. First night was great, food ok but nothing special. The server was awesome and nice view outside . Second night.... we both got Mahi Mahi and the taste wasn't crazy. 1 hour later...we BOTH got sick!!!! My husband threw up everything he could and for me painful diarrhea!!!! Also outside was full, we didn't wanna wait so decided to eat inside and inside is kinda old, didn't like the ambiance. Also server was annoying. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EAT THE FOOD THERE, drinks ok...More

Arrived at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Waited 90 minutes for a table. At 7:30, they were out of many items on the menu. When orders finally arrived after waiting 45 more minutes, the food was luke warm. Scallops were over cooked and baked potato was...undercooked. Mahi mahi was ok. The bill came, and there was a charge for a drink we never ordered. Last, the credit card machine went down. We were asked to pay cash. Through all of this, the Manager was invisible. Avoid this place. The quality is not what it used to be.More
