We had some very nice Cuban coffee and one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten in my life at this pleasant roadside cafe. The fish tasted just caught and was perfectly prepared, served on some wonderful bread with tiny French fries that tasted like excellent potato chips. Don't miss the really hot Central American hot sauce at the... More

We walked over to the restaurant for breakfast. I ordered the special which was scrambled eggs, bacon and toast for $2.99; my husband ordered the French toast and he only got one piece of French toast for $6.99! They had a good looking buffet and take out food. Lots of locals and workers were there when we were. Just be... More

For fresh squeezed juices and Cuban coffee, this place is great! Lots of Cuban food to choose from. Pastries are available too.

Happened by for lunch there is a takeout section when you walk in. Seating around to the right. Wonderful friendly service. Hugh portion. I had chicken. The Cuban sandwich was large enough for two. $2.99 breakfast before 10:00 am.

I went there twice for takeout Cuban food. We don't have a lot of Cuban food in San Diego, so I knew nothing about it, but the staff made some great suggestions, and what I got was delicious. My first time, I ordered birria (shredded beef in sauce), fried plantains, a chickpea stew and Cuban fried rice, plus a rice... More

Cuban sandwich is the best I've ever had! Lots of meat and big enough to share. My daughter had the traditional Cuban breakfast which is coffee and milk and toasted Cuban bread with butter, so good. They also have food you can walk in and take home. Pork is very good.

Service is difficult if you don't speak Spanish. Food and coffee just ok. Had omelette with potatoes. Bread was best part of the meal.

The juice selection was mainly fruit juice no "green" or vegetable juices, which one would expect from a juice bar. The fruit juice was fresh and good. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The service was just OK. Not very attentive.

I own the dive shop Sail Fish Scuba in the mall right beside this restaurant, and I have lunch from here quite often as I refer all my dive & snorkel guests to get lunch here everyday and they almost always offer to bring back lunch for me. Food is fresh made daily and always tastes great. We are happy... More
