Had dinner here Saturday, 5/6. It was one of the best dining experiences I have had. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted, welcomed and thanked for coming. All the staff were friendly and smiling. The service was outstanding. We had baked...brie as an appetizer, brie with warmed grapes lingonberry sauce, sliced apples and toast points. it was delicious. I had the Lazy Chicken, chicken breast with tomatoes, scallions, fresh grated parmesan cheese and a Key Lime butter sauce. The most delicious chicken dish I have ever had. Friends had surf & turf with the largest lobster tail they said they've ever seen, other friend had a seafood platter. We were all very happy with our choices and we are still talking about it and telling friends. An outstanding restaurant!!!!More

Went here last year for birthday dinner, food was excellent. Don’t know what happened! Went back tonight for our annual birthday celebration and food couldn’t be worse! The lobster entree had zero taste or seasoning. I tried adding salt and red pepper just to make...the dish edible, it was still terrible. Told the server about the quality and not only did they not offer any compensation or alternative dish, they actually charged for an extra appetizer we didn’t even receive or order. So extremely disappointed. Only giving the restaurant one star due to the young servers attempt at being helpful. Would never go back or waste this kind of money again. To many other great Keys restaurants to try.More

We have visited lazy lobster several times! You can absolutely feel that the management of this place does an outstanding job! All servers, bussers are well trained and super polite. Food is very good and they are always packed although they don't have a water...view. So to compete with all these restaurants in Key Largo by the bay, you have to have outstanding service and excellent food. And they do! It's absolutely worth spending an evening there, the team is on it! We want to mention our server Elisa, who took excellent care of us, accidentally we hit thumbs down when we checked out, which was unreversable, our mistake! We wanted to know the owner and Chef Lupe that ELISA was over the top professional and a diamond of a server. We had a great evening and she gave the magical touch being do so attentive, polite, and knowledgeable at the same time!!!More

We went around 3:30 to miss the crowded evenings. We both had a fish sandwich. It was just that; a basic fish sandwich with a small portion of fish. Bun, lettuce, onion, basic tartar sauce. Meh. As my husband said when we left, I make...better fish sandwiches at home. Also my baked potato was overcooked and stuck on the foil and it came with a tiny bit of sour cream and two little pats of butter. My husband had the grilled vegetables (could they have spared more than 12 pieces of vegetable?) For $18 each ... nope, won't return.More

We had the escargot appetizer and had to dig through a pound of onions to find the escargot. So naturally, onions is all you can taste. The Lobster roll was supposed to be warm and in butter. The lobster was battered and the butter was...full of garlic and ruined the taste of the fresh lobster. Ordered sweet potato fries with the lobster roll and had to pay a $1 up charge. Typically I don’t mind an up charge, but the sweet potatoes were cold when they came out. Apparently not cooked to order as I was told. Drinks were good, but $16 for a margarita during what should have been happy hour is outrageous. We are here for a few more nights, but definitely will not be returning to this restaurant.More

This place had a great menu and we wanted to try everything. We ended up getting the Lazy lobster roll and Lobster mac and cheese. The mac and cheese got served in the lobster tail which was a great idea. They also had a nice...caribbean vibe going.More

Great dinner with fresh seafood prepared simply but creatively! Our server was wonderful and attentive and had a deep understanding of the menu to help with our choices and modifications were no problem!

The first time I was here I had an amazing day! We were served hot lobster rolls and the server was even able to get me some Mac and Cheese without any lobster on the side! Our server was super accommodating and nice. The next...time around I was extremely excited to come, craving the hot lobster roll and mac and cheese. This time I ordered some takeout on the phone to take with us on the way down to the keys! We were very specific on the phone about the hot lobster roll and when we got there the order was different and we were being served the cold versions. We felt bad, but no big deal, they were able to switch the order and we were happy with the rolls. We we also asked about the Mac and cheese (maybe we weren’t so specific on the kind on the phone) and they said a side of it would be 5.99 extra, which was awesome! Why not? However, it was 10.99 on the bill and perhaps it was our fault for not checking beforehand, but the employee on the phone misled us. When we got to the car and realized that the Mac and cheese was really a half bag of Kraft Mac and Cheese rather than the creamy, stringy, and breaded Mac and cheese goodness they gave me as a side without lobster the last time I was extremely disappointed. Because the employee seemed so frustrated and disgruntled about the situation, we decided not to even confront them about it and switch the order. We also decided that perhaps it would be the very last time we would go to the Lazy Lobster restaurant. So overall, a 2/5, the food is great! However, nobody should have to deal with poor quality people dealing with their food. Not to mention, there’s lobster everywhere in the keys! Just skip the place and move along for a place with better scenery.More

Wowwowow. First, Dani our server was amazing. Period. Second, the music was an amazing background to the food. Best soundtrack ever. Sitting outside in the tiki hut with a perfect breeze we couldn’t have been happier. A ridiculous menu - so many options. We couldn’t...decide. Although this is clearly a lobster joint, we decided to have fish - but we had friends here finishing up and their review of the lobster was “incredible”. We had Hog fish served in the maracumbe style - tomato’s and capers and other amazing ingredients. And we also had stuffed grouper. Both so fresh and delicious. And don’t sleep on the Key Lime Pie. One of the best in the Keys. Come here for sure! Best meal in the Keys. And bring your dance partner!More

We stopped here for dinner while vacationing in Key Largo. The exterior is not very impressive, but the interior was packed with customers. The section where they seated us was very full and appeared to have a tent-like ceiling overhead, with an open-air atmosphere. As...soon as we were seated they brought a baking board with freshly baked banana nut bread instead of the more traditional loaf. I was impressed with that gesture. We ordered reasonably soon after that considering how crowded it was. My wife and I both remarked at how much we liked the meal selections we had chosen. The only drawback I would mention is that the very loud noise level was something that detracted from our overall dining enjoyment. We would certainly eat here again and are happy to recommend it to others.More

The moment you step foot into the restaurant you feel like a champ because of the outstanding team wide service. The jalapeño lobster bites appetizer was out of this world and it had presentation to match. All the sea food was great but I stand...by the amazing service most of all.More

We sat outside under the tiki hut in a lovely area. Very friendly staff, wonderful and prompt service. Escargot was a delicious appetizer. Server made excellent suggestions for entrees. Seafood was all cooked to perfection. Chicken parm is enough for a family to share! Banana...bread was perfect.More
