A long-time key resident told me, “I’m taking you to the best restaurant in the key,” And after our dinner at La Scala I have to agree. A small, low-key place, everything was delicious. The service was prompt and excellent. It did get crowded on a Friday night and space is small, I was glad we’d booked early, social distance is not great. I will return.

Excellent food and excellent service! This old world Italian restaurant is a great little find! It’s a small quiet restaurant with a great menu tucked away in a strip mall. The aroma of garlic and basil fill the air and scream authentic. Our server was helpful and attentive. They helped select a Chianti to accompany our entrees. At our servers recommendation, we chose the osso buco which was tender and well seasoned. It was accompanied with a creamy mushroom risotto. We concluded the evening with a sampling of several desserts. The key lime pie was awesome. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Small little place with excellent service. Fried calamori was an excellent start, Salaads and bread with dipping sauce was great and we enjoyed all 5 dinners. Frutti Di Mare...Fettucine Bolognesse, Chicken Piccatta....all were excellent. We will certainly be back here when back on Key Biscayne.

The food here is excellent. This little restaurant is 2 for 2 with us. The lasagna was excellent. The service here is great. The owner is there every night to make sure the customers have good experience. He goes above and beyond and makes you feel right at home. No need to dress up, it's casual, comfortable, and as i mentioned, the food will NOT disappoint. Try the filet...

Old time pro waiters guide you through menu.Space for maybe 12 close in tables. Had a great Osso Bucco and rissotp, ladies enjoyed great snapper and Spinach, and Capellini maeimara.House Chianti and white wine good and generous serving.,

We were sent here by the general manager at the Ritz. They accommodated us on a busy evening last minute. The restaurant is in a strip mall - don’t let that deceive you! Excellent recommendation. Food was delicious, and service was exceptional.

Small, enjoyable place, very attentive service. Really enjoyed the ceasar salad, bread for dipping was average. Portions were good but thought it was a little less than our last visit. Clearly better than average but not top tier.

This was a delightful dinner experience! The food was so delicious and authentic. Service was good. Highly recommend. Went with husband and 2 kids (5 and 7).

Best kept secret in KB. Excellent food, superior service. Friendly ambiance.
Plenty of variety in the menu. The owner greets you at the door makes you feel at home. My favorite restaurant in KB!!!

Since this place opened we have never been disappointed. Every time we come in the food is excellent.
A secret gem in our beautiful Village.
The service is excellent and extremely professional.

Back again...deceptive small place in a strip center. Great service. The bread is kinda average, but the caesar salad and pastas were great. We will continue to return.

Felt like Little Italy in the Keys! Romantic and unchained - owners were on it! It was an experience not just a meal. Chicken parmigiana was incredible, but key lime pie was the best I had in all of south Florida.
