The Louisiana French Creole use the term “lagniappe” to describe something that’s “a little something extra,” and that's exactly what chef owner Brian Grimley knows it takes to transform a dish from mere food into an experience you never forget. Inspired by the culture and flavors of New Orleans, Charleston and Savannah, Chef Grimley's Lagniappe Restaurant combines the traditions of the French Creole with unique twists on Southern culinary staples using only the freshest local ingredients. And should you wish to elevate your experience by imbibing one of the many cocktails on the menu, you'll choose from a range of both classic and new wave cocktails inspired by the eclectic spirit of the South

The food was not worth the value. I’ve gotten a better filet at a Longhorn for less money. Also, they have crispy brussel sprouts on their menu which are essentially deep fried and salted. I would choose another option. When I spoke to the woman...More

The food was fine, but the service was okay. The bartender was not mixing the drinks correctly (mojito with no mint, no club soda, and no lime) and the owner gave us a hard time when we wanted to send the drinks back. Not going...More

Had reservations and arrived on time. Were seated quickly with menu's and then we were ignored for 20 minutes. No water, no waiter, nothing. Servers passed us by and we were in full view of bartender and floor manager who were chatting and carrying on....More

It was our anniversary so we decided to try a new place in town. Parking is good. No waiting to be seated. Restaurant is a bit dark and the design is a bit industrial with a few New Orleans touches thrown in. It would have...More

If you can overlook the hostess’ attitude, demeanor and overall unfriendliness, you’ll enjoy the food and atmosphere. And we’ve been there multiple times and still receive a “cold shoulder” from the hostess! For the food, very good, perfectly seasoned and quite tasty. For the service,...More

This restaurant is, by far, the best dining experience I’ve had on Amelia Island. Went for dinner. Everything was perfect, from the moment we walked in the door until the time we left. Fantastic. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Came here for dinner after I asked a local for a recommendation. She didn't steer me wrong. The food was excellent and our server, whose name escapes me now, was great. A cool guy who was fun to talk to. We started with salads and...More
