Had a great time celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary at Peter's. Service was great, food was excellent. Started with escargot, split a Caesar salad, filet and home hash browns, strudel for dessert. No complaints.

Are arrival was greeted with excellent Valet service. From here it went downhill. Or table was ready and had a good location. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly for an expensive restaurant. We ordered a couple glasses of house wine and it was served at our...table in a small size port style glass. I asked the waitress for a larger glass she said that’s only available for more expensive wines. The quality of the food was not worth the value we paid. The Hash-browns were over cooked the filet was ok. I asked for mine to be cooked medium rare - . Her comment back to me was “the chef will stab you” Berenice sauce was very bad. Crease salad was sweet and not classic with garlic etc. I asked for anchovies for additional $4 and I got two small pieces. This place is overrated and we will not return.More

My brother turned 60 yesterday and wanted to celebrate it at Peter's Steak House. So, the four of us went to dinner and it was a night we all won't forget. Upon entering we were met by one of the cheesiest decors I've seen in...a long time and waited and waited before someone would acknowledge us. We were sat and given menus and when our grumpy waitress showed up. She starts right off with an attitude toward us maybe because we didn't want "cocktails" to start or maybe she always has an attitude. Several of us ordered lobster and shrimp bisque there was no shrimp no lobster no taste tasted like warm water. We could barely finish half the cup then or surly waitress return and asked, "Oh didn't like the soup". We tried nicely to explain there was zero flavor but all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. The steaks we ordered were at best okay with again very little taste to them. The hash browns were hard chunks of burnt potatoes, had a "bowl" of about 8 small mushrooms and the Bearnaise sauce was putrid. All throughout the meal my brother just kept apologizing to us for wanting to have dinner here. We're not wealthy to pay those prices for a poor meal and to be insulted by the wait staff on top of it all is inexcusable. I mistakenly asked the waitress if I could speak with the manager/owner and as expected received the response "he's busy". We could not get out of there fast enough. Hopefully this review will keep a few away from this place so you don't have to be terribly disappointed as we were.More

I think they should stop saying there steaks are dry aged. No way they should be charging NY prices for Winn dixee quality steak. Server was very good but he was the only good thing we had. side dishes were bad.If your looking for real...dry aged steak this is not the place for you. They are serving a steak youcan get at outback for a 1/4 of what your paying here. Maybe 4tables the whole time we were there and owner never once came over to our table to ask how our dinner was because he new it sucked. Will never return.More

We have been wanting to visit Peter's for some time based on reviews and years in business, so we had dinner there on Christmas Eve. We were shocked at the prices, i.e. small bowl of mushrooms for $13, uncooked asparagus for $16, and approx 3...Tab of Hollandaise for $4. The shrimp cocktail had large shrimp but was probably left in water too long defrosting as they were tasteless. The lamb chops were gamey and well done (ordered med-rare), the lobster tail was of good size but tough and dry. Adding insult, the service was terrible. There were specials for the night that the waitress never offered to tell us when approaching the table as we sat down., she took plates away before we could indicate we were finished and was not attentive to us after the meal was done failing to clear the plates when we were finished dining. After receiving a bill of $245 for 2 people, it kind of sums up my review.More

Quality food. Steak house price but you get what you pay for. So for myself we I go to a steakhouse once every four years. The meal was well prepared, expensive but the service and the overall quality In my opinion Peter's was superior to...the corporate places that I've previously gone to. My next steak house experience in the future could very well be Peter's.More

1. Steak tartare 3 years ago was excellent, last night it was a mushy mess. Yuk !! 2. Red wine was served in tiny white wine glasses 3. Asked the waitress to change them and it was like it was an imposition 4. Ordered the...6 oz filet, very tender but totally tasteless 5. We had joined 3 friends and I asked for 2 checks and they refused, Said they do not do seperate checks at one table?? 6. The waitress was pouring the wine we ordered by the glass and did a short pour for a lady friend, but said she would be back with more wine, but of course, that never happened. 7. I spoke to the owner and shared the above and all he said was "I have been doing it for 23 years" !! Never said he was sorry and actually acted like he could care less. THIS IS MY FIRST TRIP IN 3 YEARS AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK.More

I have visited this restaurant several times over the years and it has seriously slid down the slope of mediocrity. During Covid, their menu was narrowed to basically just steaks and several of those were for people to share. Thus, being alone, my options were...few. My problem is not with the limited menu but the lack of quality in the steaks. I ate some there and took the rest home but threw it away. Maybe, I will try it again far into the future but cannot recommend at this time.More

It has been two years since we last visited and pleased to report we all had an excellent meal. Steaks were fantastic - sides and desert were very good and the service was great even though the restaurant was totally slammed on the Saturday night...before Father's Day. Thanks to Peter & the staff for making this a great dining experience...More

I have an eaten many times at peters and thoroughly enjoyed every experience my wife and I went last night for dinner and were thoroughly disappointed the porterhouse was dry they fillletwas dry and overcooked the béarnaise sauce was an unrecognizable white liquid that the...waiter kept trying to tell us was bernaise. I hope this was it odd experience because Peter‘s was one of my favorite steakhouse in South Florida and probably one of the best.More

Very limited menu, mostly types of steak. The shrimp and lobster bisque was fantastic! Nice bread plate for the table, with a very tasty garlic butter. We each got Peter’s Special Salad. Unfortunately, it was drenched in salad dressing. We would much rather have been...able to put our own dressing on, and certainly would have used a smaller amount. No mixed drinks. In extensive wine menu, and a few bottled beers are the only alcohol options. Service was a little under par.More

Steak, steak, steak....when you do it right it becomes an experience. Peter’s knows their steak and knows how to cook it. The sides accompanying dinner are fantastic. Sautéed spinach or creamed spinach are noteworthy. Since the pandemic we have not been inside any restaurant. Peter...has a small outside with tables. You always need a reservation at Peters. You will not be disappointed at Peters....just enjoy and go home happy. As with any steakhouse, it is expensive but so worth the price.More

Peter's Steak House is a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions or just a dinner out. The atmosphere is conducive to conversation within a group or just a couple. There is quiet music in the background. Our filets were cooked to perfection. The Peter's salad...is just to die for. The wait staff is courteous and friendly. We highly recommend Peter's if you are looking for top quality food and an atmosphere to compliment this culinary experience.More

They do not have a full bar. They have an extensive wine list, and limited bottle beer choices.

It's not a shirt and tie place. Casual dress is the norm. I can't remember whether anyone was in shorts but I'm sure dress shorts would be fine (but I'd avoid the tank top - lol).
