Early December, I made a reservation for 14 people for New Year’s Eve. A week later, I called again requesting that we have 2 tables; one for 8; one for 6. They couldn’t promise me this would happen and suggested I call back and speak to Banquet Manager Cynthia. Upon calling back, very nice Lorena took my message and said she would have Cynthia call me. I called again and left another message. No call backs. On my 4th call, I gave up ever speaking to Cynthia and just wanted to be sure we had 2 tables. Still no promises. They said my request was noted in the computer. Upon arrival, we walk in to a table of 14! I asked what happened and was told this was the best they could do. Once seated, my guests knew I was upset and said not to pursue the issue; just to let it ride. Now, a young man “in charge” appeared and now said he could change the tables. The problem was that 6 of the guests already had cocktails and didn’t want the hassle of getting up and moving. Also, it WAS New Year’s Eve and everyone just wanted to forget the blunder and have a good time. The “in charge” man was overly solicitous, and my husband had to firmly tell him to “leave it alone.” In order to compensate us, 3 platters of Fish appetizers appeared at our huge table. Nice surprise, but my husband is highly allergic to fish and I don’t eat the kind they served. It would have been nice if they asked what we wanted first as a complimentary dish instead of just surprising us. Now I’m even more upset and they are wondering why I am not thrilled. I tell them and they compensate with another complementary app. By now, the evening has a dark cloud over it. My husband is upset that I am upset, our guests are trying to make light of everything, and the “in charge” man and woman appear to want to be assured that we are all pleased. Nice try, but the smiles were so big and overly solicitous, it appeared they were mocking us. Whew! The food was good, nothing great. One guest had to send the Prime Rib back because it was served cool. My salad promised grilled artichoke, but nearly all of them were spears. I guess they were saving the tips for other dishes. For dessert, I ordered chocolate ice cream. What appeared was some type of gelato that looked as if it had been scraped off the bottom of the barrel. No more Kyle Gs for special occasions. It’s simply not worth the money and very disappointing that a simple request could not be fulfilled.

Typical Seafood/Steakhouse. Menu had lots of options but food was very average. Tuna tartare appetizer was ok. Followed by a steak (ribeye) which was good and the snapper provencal which was soaked in some sort of buttery sauce that was not tasty. Potatoes au gratin were delish. Music inside consisted of a saxophone player that at times seemed to be trying too hard to hold on to excessively long (and loud) notes. Waiter was young and nice but broke the cork of our French bottle of wine and instead of bringing a new bottle right away he went somewhere and had the other half of the cork removed. Now served wine had multiple pieces of cork inside. We did request a new bottle and he switched it immediately (really hope the restaurant doesn’t make him paid). Overall a fair experience with nothing impressive that would make me want to come back.

We like and enjoy this restaurant each time we return. Whether it’s seafood or steak they only serve the best food. We prefer dining before sunset so that we can enjoy the beach & ocean views.
Today I had the Scottish salmon served with potatoes and greens. The chef recommends it cooked medium which was fine with me. My salmon was drizzled with a delicious sauce which accentuated the taste of my fish. I ordered a side of sautéed garlic spinach.
My friend had the Kale salad with salmon. We shared a bottle of wine because on tuesdays they have a special which you pay half price on any bottle under $300. We were able to take the wine we hadn’t finished home. Both our meals and the wine were very good as was our server Reed.

Special occasion "Valentines Day", had reservations for 6:00 PM,got seated @ 7:55 PM. We arrived early @ 5:00 PM to enjoy a cocktail prior to dinner, only to be greeted by all out chaos. Took over 30 min.( just to check) in and another 30 min. wait to order cocktails from the bar. By the time we were served our drinks, it was 6:10 PM and happy hour was over @ 6:00 PM, so we were charged full price. I complained and was told "sorry, I can't do anything about the register". When we finally got to ordered our dinners we were greeted by a very professional server. We ordered the Grouper (@ $39.00 per plate), then asked what sides we want. I asked "what comes with it?" and told nothing but the fish, so we ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese @ $19.00. Very dissapointed with the very small piece of Grouper and both our meals were cold. The Mac and Cheese was very good and the warmed up Grouper was ok. In their defense, the weather was not very good and the seating outside was not in use.
Will give them one more try.

We have been dining at Kyle Gs since they opened. We have had great meals there and then again, not so great. But for the amount of volume they do, the food is usually above average. The service is always good and management is very visible.
This last visit was not as good as past experiences. We started off with the crab dip, which was just mediocre and lacking crab flavor. We had the chopped salad, which was not really "chopped". For our entrees, I had the blackened tuna, which was spot on, perfectly cooked and served on top of lo mein. My guest chose the petite beef tenderloin with crab stuffed shrimp, which was another winner. My wife selected the snapper, which was done with a Mediterranean flair. Unfortunately, the seasoning used was over powering and the flavor of the fish was lost. Two of the three desserts were very good. It's hard to go wrong with creme brulee and their pineapple upside down cake with ice cream was a winner, but the coconut carrot cake was dry and not what we were expecting. It looked and tasted like it was commercially made and bought rather than homemade on premise.

Food is always good but do not valet your car. Went there on Valentine’s Day. Valet got dirt all over my drivers Seat and put a nail in my left rear tire. Kyle Gs offered to give me an appetizer for free to replace a $350 tire 👎. Valet company would not pay for the tire so I had to shell out $350 for something they did. Unacceptable. Will not be going back

Two couples went on 12/30. Had a 7pm reservation and weren't seated until 8pm. My swordfish and my wife's scallops were excellent. Our friends steak was undercooked and cold. His wife's mahi mahi was also cold. They re-cooked the steak and it was too tough to cut. Our server was very personable and accommodating but the restaurant overbooked that night. Dinner took 3 hours! Too many other restaurants in the area to go to and have a better experience.

Lunch with a couple of friends. The menu offers a large selection at good prices. Started with the Calamari, their special recipe $14.00, Loved it, followed by the Scottish Salmon, cooked to perfection at $27.00. Soup for $10.00 and some great sandwiches around $16.00. Our server Reed was a breath of fresh air, he was a real foodie and it was a pleasure to be taken care of by him, thanks Reed. We will go back.

Celebrating two birthdays we decided to drive from Port Saint Lucie to Jensen and try Kyle G’s prime Seafood. Had a reservation for a part of four for 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. We got stuck in traffic due to a train stopping and blocking the crossway so we called the restaurant and advised them we were going to be late. They were very accommodating espy since they were quite busy. We arrived at 7:30 and were promptly seated. Weather was terrible with tropical storm warnings so we had to dine inside which during this time was not something I really wanted to do, but was comfortable as they practiced good social distancing with tables spread apart nicely and staff all wearing masks. Our server was Vagelis and he did an awesome job. Started with the table being decorated for the birthday celebrations and a nice welcome card from the restaurant. They also provided us with a complimentary champagne toast for the table which was a very nice touch. We brought a couple of special bottles of wine as they have a very reasonable corkage policy. We started with an appetizer of PEI Muscles which were excellent. I had the Wedge salad and another person in our party had the French Onion soup. Both were very good. At this point we ran into a little problem with a ceiling leak from the monsoon rains but the staff promptly moved us to a dry table. This was handled with efficiency and professionalism and was not even an issue from our perspective. We went on to enjoy one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had the NY Strip which was a perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned . Absolutely delicious. I Added a couple of scallops for $7 each and they were also perfection. My wife had the Venetian Lane Snapper which I tried and it was outstanding as well. The other two in our party also had the NY Strip and they raved about it. We had creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin both excellent. The evening ended with a complimentary piece of Tiramisu with a candle for the birthdays. Matthew Saur, managing partner came to our table to apologize for the need to move our table and was very professional and polite. We took the opportunity to ask about the new restaurant they are opening next week which is only a few minutes from our home in PSL and we are looking forward to going there soon. When our bill came we were pleasantly surprised to see they made a couple of “adjustments “ to our bill apparently for the inconvenience of having to move. This was unexpected and appreciated. I must say that is exactly what I would expect from a top notch restaurant. Great management, great service and outstanding food. Well done Kyle G’s. We look forward to being able to check out Oak & Ember steakhouse opening on Becker Road in Port Saint Lucie very soon.

I have gone to Kyle G's since it open. The food and service have always been premium and very well priced. I was there on Friday July 10th for my birthday and I was very disappointed with the service as well as the pricing of the food (NY Strip steak). This steak when from being $39.00 to 55.00 per cut with out any garnish on the plate that is an unwarranted price increase. My husband and I support the local business in our community specially in this trying time with Covid-19, with that said Kyle G's is pricing them self out of our community, they are becoming a price people can not afford even in special days. I hated to write this message but someone had to tell Kyle that he is pricing him self out our community.

We have occasion to go to Hutchinson Island on Jensen Beach many times throughout the year. It's so nice to have the opportunity to go to an Oceanside restaurant where you know you can count on a great experience. Kyle G's opened a few years ago, taking over the prime oceanfront venue of a heyday restaurant of the 80's - 90's called Rotties, which was sorely missed as a go-to excellent dining experience once they closed down. Jensen Beach waited for many years to have this spot come back to its glory days. Yes, Kyle G's is going to be a bit pricey, but the food has been consistent in high quality, The menu selections are excellent, and the freshness and flavors wonderful! Their cocktails are on the very high end with a $20 martini topping most Miami restaurant prices, We have experienced both seafood and steaks and chops, and we have not been disappointed. Live entertainment out on the deck has been wonderful in the past. Lastly, Kyle G's has opened a new restaurant nearly across the street in a small strip mall with service from 9 AM - midnight called American Kitchen. We tried it last week ... outstanding once again. We can't wait to go back and try the breakfast and lunch menus. Beautiful restaurant with full bar and alfresco dining as well. It's wonderful to see these options for dining that are located on Hutchinson Island Jensen Beach!!

Having lived several months faithfully hibernating from the pandemic, we ventured out to try Kyle G’s Restaurant. We immediately noticed no social distancing at the bar, tables within six feet of each other, and more importantly, all the servers and hostess were NOT wearing masks.
We did find a table along the railing with the prevailing east zephyr on our faces. It was absolutely beautiful with the blue ocean and sunny skies. But we know there was a risk involved being at Kyle G’s.
We ordered “Happy Hour” drinks. The Margarita and Bloody Mary were subpar—actually mediocre. The flat bread Margarita pizza was good, but not enough of it.
We left saying to ourselves “we will never be back.” We met fellow citizens in the community who felt the same way.
Anyone reading this you have been properly warned—caveat emptor—for patronizing Kyle G’s Seafood Steak Restaurant.

I spent the month of January in the area (Hutchenson Island) and spent time here on at least 3 occasions. It is the only free-standing restaurant that is right on the ocean/sand. (It is surrounded by high-rise condos.) The view is spectacular both outside and inside. Happy Hour prices are available both on the patio and at the inside bar from 12-6pm. At times, there is live music outside.
Being a senior, I found the noise, buzzing bees, & difficult service outdoors not to be enjoyable. Two luncheons in the dining room (without alcoholic beverages), however, could not have been nicer.
A word of caution: If you go, visit before dinner prices go into effect. You can call or get local publications to discover details.

Went to Kyle Gs with a party of around 24. This was a return visit where we went last December and we were very happy with the restaurant. However, it was a totally different story this year. It took almost two hours before they took our entree orders and we were there over 3 hours before dinner was finished and that did not include having any coffee or dessert. Although the food was tasty, it came out lukewarm and we didn't dare send it back. Uncertain if the delay in food service was the fault of the kitchen or the wait staff, but there was no excuse at what is booked as a prime steakhouse.

This restaurant is HIGHLY overrated and way over priced. We were extremely disappointed in the service and the food. Our waitress was unanimated, uniformative, and spacey. My husband’s old fashioned wasn’t properly prepared. My son’s wine had cork pieces floating in it and should not be have been served at table as such. My knife was dirty. The service was slow. My salmon was raw, not medium, as I had ordered, AND it was incompletely plated. My son’s grouper was hard, almost inedible. My husbands 10 oz, $58 filet was improperly cooked and ruined with the optional sauce (additional $) poured over the top. It should have been served in a separate dish. The asparagus was thick, tough, and improperly cooked with no seasoning. Our side of lobster mashed potatoes was potato purée with two tiny pieces of lobster and other food just tossed on top. Diners next to us were VERY loud as managers ( ??? One woman with an electronic device and another woman with purple dress ) just stood by and watched them ruin the ambience and our dining experience. An upscale restaurant with expensive menu options should have experienced staff, consistent, spot-on food plating and preparation, AND a dress code. We saw a man entering the restaurant with sweaty, gym clothes!!!! VERY unhappy time with family!!!!!
