About
The Cove is an old "fish camp" that has been Inverness's best kept secret! We are the only restaurant available on the water. Come on out and enjoy a relaxing country setting and swing in the swings down by the water. If you are coming by boat we have an entrance for airboats and an entrance for pleasure craft. Large parties welcome, reservations accepted. We also cater large events down by the water so if you are looking for a venue, think of us! Come check it out. New to The Cove, we offer boat rental and also have a 2 bedroom guest house for daily rent! Vintage Airstreams coming soon!

Went there with friends after Wild Bills airboat and swamp tour, servers were not wearing masks, had the fish and chips fish came in the breading was sort of dark looked like it was left too long in the fryer, however the fries were outstanding...and so it was the cole slaw, prices were on the medium to high side, definitely not a gem but okMore

Employees do not wear masks. Servers are not required to wear masks. I understand that a lot of people don’t agree with it but we don’t smoke in restaurants anymore because it could be dangerous, we don’t drink snd drive because it could be dangerous...and as were sitting there having dinner we received a call that a close family member may not make it through the night due to coronavirus ( he would not wear a mask) so it is definitely deadly . The least the owners could do is have their employees wear a mask to protect the customers. In fact I didn’t see a mask in the whole place. Maybe your family will be next!More

We were staying at a nearby campground and this was close by. It's a comfortable and friendly place near the water. Great beer, hamburger and sandwiches. Loved the mermaid milk beer. Husband loved the burgers. I thought the Grouper sandwich was great. The shrimp I...think were frozen. Every restaurant is known for something. This is beer and burgers. Nice vibe too. Also they have a playground for kids which is nice if your bringing them.More

The service orders sometimes get lost? It happened twice here. They raised the price of oysters to $18 a dozen . Much cheaper elsewhere. Also, during the pandemic the help doesn't wear masks, and loosley follows florida health dept and CDC guidelines. My advice? Stay...away, the previous owner was much more responsible.More

If you were told to turn right at the Dollar General, go down this tiny road and see the barn looking place at the end of the street you might be tempted to turn around. That would be a mistake. The Cove Pub and Grub...is a hidden gem that you would never know existed unless you were explicitly told it was there. We went for an early dinner on a Thursday night and were amazed how busy the place was. I guess that's what happens when you offer great food and beer at inexpensive prices. Thursday is steak night and my wife had their 10 ounce ribeye. It was excellent. So too were my 1/2 of peel n' eat Old Style shrimp. Our picky son had the garlic parm wings and ate through them as if he hadn't had food in a week. We will soon return.More

This place has been around for a long time. Back in the day you'd never find/know about the place unless a local brought you. Some of the best wings ever and great atmosphere and people. If you want a hidden gem this is it. Accessible...by land or by boat.More

We went for a late lunch / early dinner. I loved the "smoked pulled pork". No sauce. Just the way I like it. The cove fries were crispy and lightly seasoned. They have a large patio, for outside seating. Airboat rides are available out back.
