I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and always more than satisfied. I don't know what has caused such a drastic change but service and food were both terrible. We had a party of 5 on a Wednesday evening. After being seated...took a long time for initial contact with waitress. Three of us ordered appetizers and the other two ordered salads as a first course. Our appetizers were served, even before our wine had been delivered, but the salads, we were told, would be in the next course. So, two diners had to watch us eat our appetizers then WE got to watch them eat salads. Made no sense but server said "that's the way I do it". Entrees were finally delivered and my brother's grilled chicken was RAW in the middle. Even the waitress said "Ooooo, that looks really bad" as she took the plate away. He had ordered the au gratin potatoes as his side but was told they were out. He agreed to the mac and cheese instead. When the bill came the mac and cheese was charged as a "side". The waitress felt he should pay for it since he ate it. It was finally deducted from the bill. In all fairness the other four meals were fine but little things like having to wait 10 minutes to have oil poured over the bread dipping mix just added to everyone's frustration. We dined last week at several other restaurants along the beach and never had issues so I don't want to hear that IT'S DUE TO COVID. That seems to be the excuse used for poor management and training these days.More

The most amazing sea bass I’ve ever had. I ordered a lemon drop martini and steam came out of the bottom of the glass the whole time I drank it. Great presentation on food and drink. I’ll eat there every time I’m in the area!

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch / early dinner. Early bird menu was perfect. Had fresh grouper which was excellent.

The early bird menu was excellent! Finally, a restaurant that understands the right size portions. Great service, quality food, good prices. Beautiful views of the intercoastal waterway. Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant has early bird specials which are an excellent value. There is always a fresh catch available, but get there early enough so they don't run out. Service is impeccable. The patio is on the water and there is a large bar area to...sit around as well as tables. If you like more formal dining, there is an indoor area. Worth a visit.More

Excellent food; nice dining experience. There’s an enjoyable atmosphere and view. I highly recommend the grouper and filet Oscar. We substituted the brussel sprouts for potatoes. They were amazing. Sweet and spicy! I also recommend the lemon basil Vinaigrette. Everything was delicious all the way...around!More

Fabulous food and pretty good service made for an enjoyable experience overall. There was a minor issue with our reservation details that was corrected immediately, and the service was pretty good for the duration of the meal. The food was fantastic, from appetizers through the...entrees including fish, seafood and steak. We would definitely return based on the food alone. Good spacing and observation of Covid protocols.More

We celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday, and since we decided just a couple of days ago to get away, we did not make dinner reservations. After searching online and reading a few reviews, we landed on Salt Rock Grill. I should also mention that it...was after 7PM when we decided to eat, and the restaurant closes at 9PM. However, that did impact the quality of food and service received. We were seated at a table in the back with a fantastic view. Our waiter Charles was outstanding and attentive the entire time. From the sashimi tuna to the African lobster tails, the food was delicious! It was the perfect place, ambiance, and meal to celebrate our day. We could not have planned it any better, and would not change anything about the evening. You just can’t go wrong with this place!More

We came here for a birthday celebration dinner during a staycation in North Redington Beach. We feel in love with this place at first sight upon entering the restaurant. We had a lovely table with a nice water view and were their in time to...enjoy the early bird dinner-which is incredibly reasonably priced. But it’s the food that makes this place a gem. It’s fantastic!! Our table of four shared two scrumptious appetizers of calamari (oh yum) and sashimi tuna - ditto the yum - and enough for a dinner. Now for the early bird dinner: we all had Cesar salads, a bit dry on the dressing but the croutons were great. Three of us had the “off the boat” grouper and other seafood in a rich creamy sauce while the other had the scallops-outstanding. As is the fresh sourdough bread with herbs and a fine olive oil for dipping. Dessert was a perfectly sized small ramekin with a fruit crumble with vanilla wan ice cream. We will be back. Next time I’m having the tuna with baby bok choy!!More
