Good food in a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is standard and what you would expect. Quality is good, large portions. The pizza is thin crust, salads fresh. Good selection of beer and wines. The tables are a bit higher and wider, an interesting choice for a narrow room. Portions are large and there is something on the wine list for everyone. Everything tasted great! Waitstaff are pleasant and attentive but seem to be a bit disorganized, waiting on tables in different sections. Overall an enjoyable dinner

Made reservations for the patio. When we arrived the hostess thought we reserved for indoor seating. It was no issue because there were tables available outside. The ambience on the patio is nice. It was a beautiful evening and the patio is quite spacious. My spouse ordered chicken caesar salad as a main, and I ordered a small house salad and the spaghetti dish. In most restaurants the server would have asked if I wanted my salad with my main, given that my spouse didn’t order an app. But she didn’t, which meant I ate my salad while my spouse had nothing. The food itself was fine, but given we only ordered salads and spaghetti, how could they go wrong? The service was polite and timely, but I think they miss the threshold of being above average. Our meal was relatively inexpensive and the setting outside was nice. I wouldn’t go for a special occasion but for everyday dining it’s fine.

We stopped here hoping to eat outside but unfortunately all the empty tables outside we were told were reserved. Oddly two couples after us who did not have reservations were seated outside. We only know this because we were seated directly next to the hostess station. About 4-5 staff stood around the station chatting and talking throughout our meal and not once asked how our dinner was. We had dinner served but had to wait for napkins and silverware because we couldn’t get their attention to let them know we didn’t have any. All that being said the restaurant was really nice and clean and if you get to sit outside the views are pretty. Our food was very good as well.

Although I had made a reservation, upon arrival we were told that my name wasn’t on the reservation list. This wasn’t a problem because there was plenty of tables available (I suspect because of our experience). “Tony” was our server, he seemed annoyed that we were there. When my dinner guest ordered a scallop dish, which she had been looking forward to all day, she was informed that they didn’t have any scallops. How could they be out of scallops? I ordered the bowtie pasta with chicken in a cream sauce, and it was beyond awful. The bowtie pasta was drenched in oil and was tough and chewy. The dish contained about 4 pieces of chicken and the chicken was chewy too. I left most of my meal. When Tony asked if I wanted it wrapped to go, I told him no thanks, that I was dissatisfied, and he dismissively stated, “but that’s our most popular dish.” I was dismayed by his comment; what does that have to do with my disgusting meal tonight? Tony made no attempt to make the situation right. This was a classy restaurant years ago but not anymore and I will never return. I’m sure they will bank on incoming tourists but tourists beware. There are a lot of better options.

I wish I could write a good review for this restaurant but we never even got the opportunity to eat. After trying to call and make a reservation which the hostess proceeded to put me on a permanent hold twice we decided to just go there. We waited an hour with two children in tow, the host taking names was a very young boy who obviously was not capable of seating guests, didn’t know names of servers or sections. We were ignored by passing waitstaff and SEVERAL other parties left while we waited with open tables available(with gross rags and windex bottles sitting at the table by the entrance). We finally sat and no waiter came over, no water, no silverware, we were ignored even when we finally gave up and left. I will never be back. I hope no one else wastes their time either.

We just had dinner there. The waiter that sat us was very kind. However, once seated the service was terrible!! The waitress took quite a while to come to our table and when she did she never asked what we wanted to drink, just asked for our order. We heard another waitress tell her tables the kitchen was busy due to takeout orders as well. They were given bread. Our waitress never came back and said anything to us - we got no bread at all. Once our meals came, she never came back to see how things were or if we needed anything else. For as expensive as the food is, we certainly expected better service. We had visited this place a few years ago and were looking forward to returning, but will not be back again in the future!

A once-great Italian restaurant that is now just phoning it in. Everything from reservations to service was chaos. Our waitress told us she could not take our order because she was "overwhelmed" So I got our set-ups myself and it kept on going downhill from there. No one was in charge, orders were forgotten, and no one cared. It would have been ok if the food was still good but it wasn't. Our ''gourmet" pizza took a half-hour even when the place was 75% empty at 9pm and it tasted like it had come out of the freezer shelf of Publix. This is so sad because it used to be great but they now have more business than they can handle and since they do... they can't. So if you want pizza choose a local joint that does it well. And if you want good Italian try someplace that still cares.

We ate here on September 27, 2020. I will start by saying the food we did eat was delicious. But the customer service was terrible! When our food was delivered to the table my son who ordered a small cheese pizza found a piece of metal in his pizza when he took a bite. He brought it over to me and it looked like a piece of a drill bit or something. Which could have harmed his intestines badly if swallowed!! So we said something to the waitress. She asked if we wanted another pizza and we said no. Just a small cheeseburger instead. Shortly after we heard a man yelling from the back kitchen “I’m not giving them a free burger too!” When the waitress came back out I asked who was the man yelling in the back. She said it was the owner TJ. I told the waitress who was very upset by this whole scenario that she was doing great and we really appreciated her help. My problem is with the owner TJ! If the owner is there at the restaurant and something like this happens he should have come out to deal with the problem. Not send the waitress out and yell at her where we can hear everything!! I was not trying to get free food! And I did pay for the cheeseburger that came out. I’m very disappointed at the owners customer service!!!!!! Terrible and I’m telling the health department. And I gave the waitress a good tip because she has to deal with that guy!!

We ordered a small pizza and 2 other items. Ate one piece of pizza, upon putting a second slice on my plate, I noticed a black hair on the slice which was baked into the cheese. I waited about 15 minutes for our server to come back to our table and discreetly showed him the hair in the pizza. He didn’t seem surprised and never apologized, just noted “there’s a hair in it. I’ll take this off the bill.” He took the pizza away. Never offered us anything else, never offered to refill my small $4 soda (though 2 of the water glasses were topped off once earlier). We were seated on the porch with two guests, in the sun. No offer for a manager to come by, no offer of an adjustment to our bill other than not paying for the pizza with hair in it., no apology for the incident. Gave us a pen that didn’t work to sign the bill. My husband had to go inside to ask for a pen that worked. The lady had to go get her purse to find a pen. Overall the staff are not very welcoming and obviously quality service is not a priority. $52 plus tip for 2 entrees, 3 waters and one soda. Very disappointed in this restaurant. One last note, we were seated on the porch with only two other parties so they were not that busy when we arrived.

As a gluten free vegetarian I did not have many options on the menu but I did enjoy the tomato- mozzarella salad. My son and husband enjoyed their meals but my daughter did not like the sauce on her pasta. Honestly, she's very picky so I would not go by her. The bread they served before the meal looked delicious and was devored by our hungry bunch (wish I could have tried some!). The waiter was very nice and attentive. The outdoor seating area is beautiful at dinnertime. I was surprised that the food was not more expensive given the upscale feel of the restaurant and the fact that it is a scratch kitchen.

Been here before and remembering I would not go back but this year I couldn’t remember why so decided to try it again. Made a reservation and got right in. Nice huh? Until you wait and wait and wait for your server. Then I membered the service was poor and very slow. We also got a server with an attitude. We asked when the server would show up. The hostess assigned a server and things started to move. tried to order a mixed drink and was informed this was a beer and wine only establishment so I ordered a Riesling wine. The server returned and said they were out so I changed my order for an Italian red. We were asked if we wanted bread. It showed up cold. We ordered our dinner and it arrived surprisingly fast which was nice. I had ordered basil sea scallops with the house sauce. It was basil crusted scallops but the sauce was like Campbell’s tomato soup. The serve asked how we were enjoying our food. I told him it was not up to my expectations he said sorry. And that was it. If you order here stick with the pizza and spaghetti with meat balls, meat sauce, or marinara. Beyond the simple stuff you will be disappointed and way over paying. Robert Irvine could help this place out a lot.

From the cozy, homey atmosphere to the friendly server (Kaitlyn) to the delicious food, dining at TJ's was an all around great experience. Their prices are right in line with a restaurant like Olive garden or carrabba's. I ordered the lasagna that is made fresh daily, and it did not disappoint. My husband had spaghetti with sausage and marinara, and added a side of steamed spinach that he mixed in. The fresh bread and slightly spicy dipping oil was a delicious start. I also enjoyed the lobster bisque, which was thinner than I usually get but still very good. (I will say though that even though the flavor was there, there was not more than a couple of small pieces of lobster to be found.) We took a serving of tiramisu home with us and it was delicious. We didn't order drinks, which cut the overall cost down. I think our final bill was only around $45. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

We have travelled to this area a couple of times from Atlanta. The first time me and an employee sat on the patio and it was amazing. This time, my husband and I went there and sat at the bar to watch the Championship football games on 12/31. The food was just as amazing, the service was great, and the owner was super cool. I go to lots of italian restaurants and this is one of the best!! We sat there for awhile (through almost 2 football games) and got appetizers, drinks, meals, and desserts and the bill was very reasonable.

From the minute we walked in this place seemed ‘off’. The decor and atmosphere were very nice, almost upscale. It took quite some time after we were seated for our server to greet us. It ended up being the person that seated us. He was not a helpful server. The food was ‘ok’ … not worth the cost. My grand daughter ordered a calzone with ham and cappicola. There was no cappicola and only one piece of ham. It did have about a pound of barely melted cheese and not quite done doughy crust. My wife and I both had pasta which was just ok…. Mine was supposed to be with seafood but there was very little. Our grand daughter asked for more coke and was told that refills were not free. The waiter then proceeded to refill her glass full of melted ice with more coke. ( if you’re going to charge for refills you should probably provide a fresh glass and ice. ) We had to wait for our check to arrive and when asked if we wanted to take the leftovers we declined saying that it wasn’t good fresh, we certainly did not want to try it warmed over. We would definitely not recommend this restaurant. It was very disappointing.

TJs is totally a hidden gem IMO. Let me start by saying we ended up here after waiting over and hour at Keegan’s only to learn by accident that they were out of steaks and not a single employee told anyone waiting in line😡 We walked next door to TJs feeling defeated and starving to be honest. However, we were met at the door by a young man who held the door for us (myself, my husband, my dad, and our 3 girls). They were not very busy and seeing so few reviews here I had no idea what to expect. However, our server was amazing and the food was superb! We had kids meals, spaghetti with sausage, chicken parm, and Alfredo…all of it was delicious. That red sauce 😍🤤 I highly recommend a visit if you are on the area!!!
