Ate here a few times while in town for work. The food is pretty good with decent portion sizes. All of the burrito plates were great - add the extra queso! The prices were a bit high, but that was the case for most of the restaurants in the area. Service was friendly. The only downsides were that chips and salsa were not complimentary and they close at 9pm, which seemed a bit early. But they are open for breakfast.

Good Food, Great Service

We were there for lunch, and enjoyed it. The service was excellent, the place very clean and enjoyable. Food was good. We had fish tacos, which I hadn't been able to find on the menu (maybe they're there, but I hadn't seen them), so when I asked our waitress about them, she said, "of course!" and described exactly what we'd be getting with the meal. They were good, though I have to say I have eaten fish tacos all over, including lots of places in Hawaii over the years we lived there, and these were good..just not great. Pinto beans were served in a small bowl with a spoon, and were very soupy, with seasonings and stuff...but basically still tasted fresh out of the can. Not bad...we eat canned beans...but not delicious. The meal was enjoyable enough, and very reasonably priced, so it's not a place to avoid. My one problem with the menu is that it's VERY meat heavy. We're pescatarians - only eat fish, no meat or chicken - and we REALLY had to search to find something we could eat that wasn't just fish on a plate. Literally everything but a very few fish fillet dinners was meat. If that is OK with you, then, you'll probably love it. For us, it was very limiting...and for people we know who don't even eat fish, there was literally nothing to eat but rice and beans. Overall, it's a nice place, and as I said, the service was excellent. Since Immokalee isn't very big, there are limited numbers of places to eat that aren't in the casino, so finding one like this is always good. Just know that if you're vegetarian, you'll probably want to try somewhere else.

A lively vibrant Mexican restaurant with terrific atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Efficient service. Delicious food - fish tacos, yummy salsa and avocado with crisp chips.

Lousy service last night

8 of us went here to eat last night. Same menu and prices as last year. Food was ok, but the service was horrendous. When the orders came out, they were all messed. My chicken ended up being all beef. Couldn't complain as the waitress never came back to check. No sour cream or salsa with the meal. They upsell you on the chips...ask you if want some but never tell you it's an extra charge. My wife had to go get her own box for the leftovers, and then they charge you 18% for gratuities and that's ON TOP of the taxes! We won't be going back soon.

Horrible Customer Service.

This was at the Ave Maria location. The quesadilla was saturated with oil. I was told if I wanted a new one I would have to wait so I had requested at least a partial refund. I was told the manager said no by the waitress so I asked to speak with the manager. She refused to come out and discuss with me. Finally a very nice young man came out and said they would remove just the meal. The rest of the food was good. The customer service was horrible and unacceptable.

Well Deserved 1 Star. Stay away.

Save the hassle and go elsewhere. Was asked if I wanted chips and salsa (complimentary for any other Mexican restaurant) and ended up being charged $5 for a small bag of chips, and $4 for some canned salsa. A $9 waste for something that was below average and usually complimentary at any other place. Additionally, their payment system gives you the option for 20%, 25%, 30% or 35% tip which I found was outrageous as the bartender breaths down your neck. Ordered the “2 brisket burritos” and here it is. Doesn’t come with red sauce, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc… not even a sprig of cilantro as a garnish. Just a smeared together tortilla of mostly beans and some brisket. I could make a better burrito with canned sloppy Joe meat. There’s nothing special about this place, no fresh salsa or freshly made Mexican taste. Everything seems to be previously prepared. Very disappointing Mexican food. Edible at best.

Very over priced and disappointing.

Was looking for a Mexican food restaurant that served good food. Still looking we didn't find it here. Food arrived room temperature, No chips and salsa with your meal even though it's a sit down, higher priced place. VERY over-priced for what you actually receive. Spent nearly $45.00 for two meals and two beers. The price would be fine if you were served flavorful food that arrived hot. Don't waste your time and money.

Never going back worst Mexican food we've ever had

This was our second time at Lozanos and not only was our food cold and bland but we had a chicken bone in our enchilada. The service was awful when we sat down they asked us what we wanted to drink before giving us menus. They served our drinks and then said oh you need a menu do you want an appetizer of chips and salsa? We ordered and got our chips and salsa with our cold meal that we had to ask for knives to cut through the tough chicken meat. The chips were terrible hard and stale tasting. Don't waste your money!

“your customers feed you…be nice to them”

This review is for service before we even order anything. We visit this place very often, at the entrance this lady tells you …”Welcome,…sit at any place you would like”, so because of the time (4:00 pm) the place was completely empty so my husband and I took a six chairs table in front of the TV we wanted to watch and a couple of minutes later we had a waitress that aproached us and said we had to move because that was a table for six…even with an empty restsursnt… they will not let the customers sit anywhere they want (like the door lady said as she welcomes the customers)..shame on them, “they lost these customers”, we told her that ee were there 5 days ago and nobody told us we couldn’t sit there at the same table and I told my husband we should leave, she made us feel bad, there were no customers!! empty place and had to move us…we stood up to go and she said nothing, she looked around and let us go…shame on the supervisors that may see what happens and don’t fix it. You lost an upset customer today and you will keep on loosing us…learn to improvise and change to accommodate your customers…remember…they feed you!!

Unfortunately not happy

Was there last night with my wife. I really wish had good things to say but unfortunately we had a bad experience. This is the second time for us there and both times not good . Food was ok, I can deal with a chicken bone on my meal but acid reflex was really bad both times. College town I get it but we’re paying the money. Manager got clearly upset when the hostess set us down(8:20pm closes at 9pm). They were cleaning the floors while we’re eating. The server never bothered to ask how was our meal oh and they missed the chips and salsa too. Oh well 2 lost costumers

Good Morning Service at Lozano's

I give this restaurant 5⭐s is because the food was quick fast and hot and fresh. The server she was excellent. She did the timing as a server suppose to to check on the guess at the table. Now that is how a server supposed to be. She will deserve her tip. Good job. And to add an extra star that song Happy Birthday to me 😀

Don’t ask for chips & salsa. $3.50 charge. In all the Mexican restaurants we’ve been to we’ve never been charged. Kind of taken it for granted …..and they weren’t thst good either.

Really great Mexican

While sightseeing with a group we stopped at Lozano's. Can't say enough about the food and service. The server had total recall of 12 different orders and never skipped a beat. But the food..... I had chicken enchiladas with salsa verde. I haven't had that good a chile sauce since Santa Fe, New Mexico. Wish they could bottle it for me.
