The restaurant is clean, well maintained and presents a upscale atmosphere. Paige our server was excellent. She was attentive, friendly, new the menu, answered questions on area and overall a great representative of the restaurant. The crab cakes, fried clams and Greek salad with shrimp...for lunch were very good with nice size portions. You get what you path for here. Found out there are food substitution options for menu more than other places and reservation options too. Is the prices higher than other places around it yes. Is it far superior food wise yes. Would go again for sure to try more of the menu.More

We made reservations and sat there for 30 minutes after arriving. Then we were told you can sit at the bar we dont have a table for you even though you made reservations. If I wanted to sit in a bar I wouldnt of taken...the time to make reservations. No plans to go back here because of the way we were treated. They said we can afford to give you a table for two people when we have a party of 13 people coming. RUDE!More

This has been our go to restaurant for several years. Since Covid, the food has progressively gone downhill. We had a very unpleasant dinner recently and have decided not to visit this restaurant anymore

We live close to this restaurant and absolutely love it! The food is excellent, the service is phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re in the area of Inn on the Gulf, try it because it is well worth it!

The bread was great and we had a decent view of the gulf from our outside seat. The service was good and the food is solid. Menu is very diverse.

Inn on the Gulf has always been my family’s go to restaurant. The last time my brother and I went for my birthday March 13th it was the worst experience we have had there. I loved the calamari but that night it was like straight...out of the supermarket frozen fish section. My brother and I also both got the captains platter and it was the first time we saw square factory cut grouper fillets that I’m sure weren’t fresh local. We are both from the Florida Keys so we know our seafood. We are going to try it one more time on his birthday this April 23. The food is way to expensive not to be fresh!!More

Nice, clean efficiency rooms. Unit was well cleaned , beds were very comfortable, rooms were quiet. Biggest complaint was that the “kitchen” area was not very well stocked …as compared to other efficiency units we have stayed in…minimal dishes, silverware..no paper towels, napkins. Our view...was of the canal and beach…pretty but honestly was expecting more of a true beach area and maybe access to some beach chairs as there was no pool. The view of the gulf from in front of hotel and restaurant was outstanding…with a walkway and some picnic tables to view the sunset. Restaurant was outstanding..both meals we had there. Also fun to visit Sams Tiki Bar..a short walk across the street. One negative for us..being senior citizens..was no elevator….having to carry suitcases, coolers etc up stairs.More

My wife ordered the grouper sandwich which she enjoyed immensely. I order the Shrimp Po-Boy which was bland. Not sure where the shrimp came from but they had no taste.

Ordered little neck clams they came to our table with the order and they where frozen on the inside, told waitress and she took them back to make the correction and she bought the same order back. Also order grouper dinner and it was not...grouper it was some kind of white fish!! My wife ordered steamed crab legs and they where not fresh the crab stuck to the shell and where hard to remove. We have been dining here for about 10 years and it was the worst experience we have ever had here!!More

My wife and I went with two friends for lunch. We arrived at approx. 12;30 PM. 3 tables outside had customers and 2 inside. Not Busy by any means. Ordered Stuffed mushroom, Chicken Orso Soup, Shrimp over Linguine. Stuffed Mushrooms were so cold that you...had to cut them apart with a knife. mushrooms were cold could not get attention of waitress as she was nowhere to be seen. soup was cool but not cold. the worst was the shrimp dish noodle were undercooked and not offered any additional cheese, again waitress did not bring out food someone else did the waitress DID bring he check. This place may be good sometimes but not this time.More
