First I will say the food wasn’t bad. Way over priced for the quality and portions. Several things were just really odd about this place. First was there was only outdoor seating. 5 of us were sat at a table for four. Second we were...given one menu to share between the 5 of us and a pen to circle the food we wanted. We then had to bring our order up to the counter. Third the food comes out in to go containers and we were given packets of plastic silverware with one napkin. They brought out the appetizer and didn’t bring plates for everyone. The sandwiches didn’t come with fries and nobody ever checked on us to see if we needed anything even though there were only three tables. All of this wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t just pay $135 for three sandwiches and 2 sets of tacos. There are better places for the same prices right across the street.More

I understand times are tough, and the restaurant business is suffering during the pandemic, but there is only one word that can describe my experience last night. That word is pathetic. My father is back on the island, and we wanted a nice dinner out....After failing to get a table anywhere else, we decided on Eat Here. We were seated right away, which was nice, but we had to order at the hostess stand, which was not explained to us. We were given plastic utensils, and the food was served on plastic plates. The food was under seasoned and tasteless. It was served to us on plastic plates. The server/hostess never checked on us after delivering our drinks. My father didn’t even finish his tacos. We expressed our feelings when we paid for the overpriced meal, tipped over 20% for the effort, and will probably never return. Sean Murphy is obviously cutting corners and doesn’t care. Pathetic.More

Used to have outstanding food and dining experience as a local resident. Dining is outdoors now - that's fine. However, only plastic dinnerware is used (glasses, plates, plastic utensils, food serving plates, etc) and paper napkins - when it was completely the opposite previously. This...no longer aligns with the existing prices. The food was definitely not fine dining and a clear indication there must be a change in cooking staff. The food prices are too high and do not align with the current downgrade in the food or dining experience. Very seldom do I take the time to write a review, but this is warranted. Hope they can get back on track, but have no intentions of dining here again.More

They've always had really good food so I was anxious to see how they're holding up during this covid-19 era. I think it's really good that the owner of three of the Anna Maria restaurants that are always known for their good quality meaning this...one "eat here", "the doctor's office" and the Beach bistro. they have outdoor dining in space tables for people that want to eat in a restaurant they don't offer it inside which I really appreciate. They worked hard on getting good food to you quickly even if it's to go which I had a really nice piece of grouper with their coconut panko crust. My only criticism of them is I wouldn't have do the whole red Onion tomato lettuce thing with it unless it's on the side and maybe used romaine lettuce instead of head and ask customers if they wanted the onion. the key thing is that the fish was wonderful. Don't be offended if they ask you to wear a mask, they will give you one and they have a hand washing station actually and alcohol stuff for your hands if you should want it. Don't be offended if they take your temperature because they will they're just trying to protect you and their staff. I can't say enough about this commitment during covid-19 to safety.More

Hey, covid is making things hard but get a grip! Patio seating and still so uptight it made it an uneasy experience. Go to "The Feast" or one of the other island options... they are glad you came and not an inconvenience. No signs telling...you where to stand but they have expectations of automatic protocol understanding. Lol. A group came to check in and host seemed annoyed they came so they left. Yes, that's how it feels. Food is ok but nothing worth the wait.More

Late dinner first night here(chilly one too). Convenient place to stop on a later Sunday night. Nice outdoor seating area with adequate heaters and complimentary blankets for patrons. Good service, food came quickly. I had the Caesar salad with beets, Yum!, hubs had burger and...fries. We shared the fries, which were delightful, burger was good quality and good sized. Limited but interesting menu. Might try again during our stay.More

We ordered from here first night on vacation because they did delivery. Delivery was quick and the extra touches were wonderful like homemade chips and pimento cheese. However our shrimp and lobster taco tasted like salt water. I was disappointed at the lack of shrimp...options. Fish taco was very good but seemed overpriced for the size.More

We’re locals. Driving by and say hey let’s do take out from Eat Here. Park and wait. No one outside for 10 mins. People hovering for their take out. The person comes out and I say we’d like to order take out and she says...“ did you order inline?” I say no. I’d like to order her”. She then says I’ll be with you in a minute but is CLEARLY annoyed we want to order at the restaurant. Forget the “wellness shot”. Not happening. It’s October fir goodness sakes! A guy who works here drives up in a car in the middle of a shift???? Does Sean have any idea what’s happening? Does he care? Finally, she gives all the takeout people their orders and takes a drink order from us and our take out order. This experience is not pleasant and someone (Sean) should pay attention. After all we’re tipping 20% fir takeout. The out drinks - cosmos arrive in plastic. Such a disappointment and not necessary really. We could have a martini glass? Sorry . You’re touching both? Presumably washing the real one? What the hell? Beach Bistro is opening next week and this is going on here? Feels fake to me....More

We had takeout here twice it was that delicious. The grouper was amazing! Pricey but worth it. The cornbread casserole and beans that came with it were tasty. Also really enjoyed the shrimp and grits and salmon. Kids enjoyed their meals. Takeout packaging was very...professional. Also they threw in free pomento dip, homemade chips, crackers and popcorn with a wonderful note about their story. Highly recommend to EAT HERE.More

I have no idea why a restaurant would turn away any customer. They shouldn't care if 12 people know each other or not. Sounds like a miss communication. Not something I'd expect from this place.

I don't think it would be big enough, some place like the Sandbar would be better.
