i ordered several items and each was delicious. The wonton soup is the BEST BEST I have ever eaten. Gyoza was tender and so full of flavor, spring rolls delicious filling and the Tuna Tatiki outstanding, tender and full of flavor. Cannot wait to try the Sushi and other dishes, the whole menu sounds incredible.

Oh yes you want service and they have that in spades. Family owned with a sushi master who has 25 years experience. We strongly urge you to eat here.

Quality has dropped

We used to frequent this place for take out often, quality was always great. We’ve been going for over 10 years. Their prices have slowly increased, like everywhere else. We had take out tonight and we were very disappointed with the quality and the size of the servings. Both dropped remarkably. The tuna in my “beauty and the beast roll” was terrible, tasteless and gritty, didn’t finish it. The wakame salad was a fraction of the original size at a greater price. The fish just wasn’t fresh. Will be the last take out for us, we’ll stay with Sushi & Thai in Hollywood.

I didn’t order onions for dinner

I had low expectations for this place because, well, it’s Florida...but damn. The 1/5 is because it was edible. I ordered the “fried tofu with vegetables” which should have been named “Onions” as it was 90% onions... I’m not sure what happened here, there were 4 pieces of tofu and a few carrots. I should’ve ordered McDonalds.

Fabulous dinner

It’s always hard to pick a place to eat when you’re away from home. After reading reviews of many sushi places near our hotel, we chose Hiro Maru and couldn’t be happier! Had sushi, sashimi, and some stir fry noodles and chicken teriyaki. Everything was fresh and I’d describe as “clean tasting” - loved it and would definitely come back!

I have been to Hiro Maru a few times and each time is awesome. They are very creative with their Sushi rolls. Last night I had the special Tuna Block. One of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

As others have said, this restaurant is in a random place, but the sushi was quite excellent as was the rice and miso soup.

This sushi restaurant is just amazing, I like when they make rice shaped like a dolphin, 10/10 service. Service is amazing there and also they are very nice- REALLY RECOMMEND GO HERE NOW

Excellent, fresh and generous portions

It was our first time here and we loved it. We’d been looking for a good down to earth sushi place and we found it. Reminded us of a spot near Shinjuku Station Tokyo with its generous portions of sushi (the thick morsel of fish stretched over the rice and touching the plate.. NOT like the thin sliver that barely covers the top of the rice you see many places try to get away with nowadays)! We will definitely be back and thank you for a wonderful meal.

Sushi, was excellent. The place is a hole in the wall in a strip mall but don't let that deter you. The Tuna Tataki was amazing, and the rolls were very good in size. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend it.

Good service, reasonably priced sushi and sashimi

We enjoyed the meal here. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The bill was quite reasonable.... We were passing through the area and were glad to make this choice.

This sushi restaurant is located in a very quiet part of town, not a large restaurant no lore than 10 tables, but their service and selection were great. The server introduced us to fruity bubbly sarky which I had for the first time, we drank 2 bottles. The sushi was excellent the only other restaurant could compare is at Hyatt trinidad. The prices were great the ambience was special and both my wife and I enjoyed the occasion immensely. Thank you Hiro staff.

My phone's mapping search suggested this restaurant, it was a good choice.

A long day (too long) and no in-hotel dinner options meant I was searching for a restaurant. Hiro Maru popped up on the phone's map, 10 minutes away, so off I went. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza, not obvious from the street (I circled the block once to find it), you may need to call if you don't know the area. It is worth the effort. I had the 15 piece sashimi assortment, three generous pieces of five different fish. I'm not expert enough to tell what there of them were , the salmon and the red tuna were obvious, I think we had yellow tail and ______ and _______. All were good. I also had a Eel Skin hand roll, it was delicious. Miso soup and green tee. I sat at the sushi bar and watched the chef prepare my food and others.
