AMAZING BURGERS / STUPID CREDIT CARD POLICY

Amazing burger and fries, close to the best I ever had, however, their policy of no credit cards is backwards, and they should have a big sign up alerting patrons if they're going to insist on foolish policies. I was embarrassed my first visit not having the cash and had to have my invited guest pay because I didn't have the cash, so if you're going to adopt a backwards policy that potentially infuriates and embarrasses customers that no restaurant within 100 miles believes makes sense, then at least let the customers know. That being said, the open air seating, views, customer service and burgers and fries are astounding, worth tolerating wrongheaded business decisions...bring cash...

the location is amazing the food was ok

I have seen this place a few times and liked its look. I think the change of owner has dented the reputation that this place has earned, but I enjoyed the burger however my friends that have been here many times werent so happy with the quality. we sat on the Deck and it was a decent atmosphere, the music, the boats, the people! We waited a good while for our bugers and they were decent, I had mine cooked through so mine was a little more dryer than everyone's. the medium ones were also pretty dry but it was ok. the fries were a little bit dark, but I thought that was how they did them, I would be happy to give them another try on our next visit to see if it was a one off. one odd thing was you pay the attendant $2 to park and someone had there car driven into while we were there, you would have thought the attendant would have been a little more on it when asking people to park.

If looking for a laid-back place with a fun vibe that’s Le Tub. Located on the Intracoastal across from Margaritaville Offers outdoor seating. Limited menu— we ordered Le Tub’s famous 13oz burgers & they were cooked exactly as requested. However we found the burger too thick to enjoy. Fries were okay but not very crispy. Self parking ($2.00).

Beautiful view on the water. Restaurant was clean and nice. $96 for 2 burgers (overly salty but good) , 1 basket of steak fries (same ones you get at the grocery store), and 3 of their "special" bar drinks. All served on paper plates and in thin plastic cups and the tell you to be happy about it because Oprah said it was great.

Scrumptious Juicy Hamburgers!!

This restaurant was recommended by the Water Taxi company and we were were given an extra 10% off our bill with presentation of our ticket. Great incentive! This is a wonderful burger place! We were immediately greeted and seated. The nice hostess brought us through the resto and onto the LONGGGGGG pier like terrasse that stretched out along the water side forever! It was beautiful as we were able to watch the sunset as we ate. The 4 of us ordered the cheese burger and large size of home fries basket. The burgers were scrumptious and ball like juicy meat that was cooked to a medium perfection! The fries were cut large and also beautifully crispy!! The alcoholic beverages were reasonable also. Juan our waiter was super friendly and had a very sympathetic sense of humour! He also made it possible for us not to miss our taxi back to Fort Lauderdale in the little time we had. We highly recommend this establishment!

Don't Go - Not worth the Hype

I have wanted to try this place for years. I finally had the perfect opportunity to go. It was a Saturday afternoon in July. Big Mistake. It was 91 degrees out and it was like sitting in a Sauna. There are a few fans but they didn't help as they are loud and not throughout the restaurant. They are set up hit or miss. My clothes were sticking to me. The piped in music was blasting so loud that in order to have a conversation, we had to yell the whole time. I asked twice if they could just lower the music and the manager said he couldn't. I then ordered a salad that was on the special menu thinking it was a reduced price, but it wasn't. I then ordered the famous burger. I asked for it to be medium rare thinking it would have a nice thick crust on the outside and be medium rare on the inside. The burger came out Medium Well and didn't have the nice outer crust I thought I saw in the pictures. I didn't want the bun so I asked if the burger could be served on a bed of lettuce, tomato and onion. NOT. They just took one piece of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, and 1 raw onion ring and put it to the side of the burger. Since I don't use Ketchup and didn't use the bun, I could get a good taste of the burger. It had a disgusting spice or mix added to it like garlic powder. It was a huge disappointment. What I thought was going to be a nice 2 hour or more lunch, turned out to be a 1 hour let's get out of here. I only ate half of the food and took it to throw away. The waiter was very good and very nice and the the hostess was very nice but I wouldn't go back in the summer unless you want to pass out from the heat or get sick to your stomach. I think the only good thing about it is to sit on the water and get a nice breeze, if you can catch it. I would say instead try the other restaurants along the water if you want to sit on the water and have a good meal.

Burger was okay but the almost 2 hour wait from when we got seated until we got our food was almost as ridiculous as the waiter who apologized to us for the long wait offered us a salad, chips or drinks on him to make up for the delay and then charged us for the drinks anyway and then PREPROGRAMMED A 20% TIP FOR HIMSELF in advance of getting the final check. Go to Margaritaville across the street, 5 O’clock Somewhere next door or ANY of the great restaurants on the waterfront in Hollywood. This place was a HUGE disappointment.

We went to Hollywood on the Water Taxi and felt like a burger, so with the hype around Le Tub we figured, lets try it. We asked to be sat outside, they took us on walk to a thin planked dock alongside the intercoastal water way. There was a table that was fun and comfortable for two, even four. We had an umbrella so the heat of the day was not full on us. I would rank this setting, the very best. The way this restaurant is built feels like something like Pirates of the Caribbean. You would know what I mean when you get there. We ordered a burger to share ($14+ cheese and bacon) and a large side of fries ($8). Both were good, the burger was above average but I couldn't say it was the best I ever had. The burger came with the lettuce, tomato and onion on the side for you to add as you liked. Ketchup, mustard and mayo (and assorted other sauces) were on the table for you to add as you like. We enjoyed our time there and it was a very nice way to spend some time before catching the water taxi north. Not too sure my review could have been as good if we didn't have that table though, that was a key contributor to the experience

Poor. Paying for the view.

Awful customer service. Extremely slow, bartenders, and servers. They charge extra $2 for Tito’s vodka in any of your drinks, which is standard House vodka. The food is awful you can microwave something frozen and be more happy with it. You are legit paying for the view I do not suggest this place if you’re looking for good drinks and good food if you’re looking for a sunset view yes absolutely get a drink just to stand on their deck, but I would get water if I was you!!

Sloooow but good burger (eventually)

Went there for the famous burgers, party of eight, and we were there 2 1/2 hours from start to finish, that included a half hour waiting outside before being seated. Interesting decor, which we expected, but I think they need a bigger grill as it seriously took forever to cook eight simple burgers. They were good, I’ll give them that.

This place is ‘banging!

Staff member from our local hotel recommended this place and it was a hit! We had the freshest steamed shrimp, served with both cocktail sauce and melted butter. We’ve had our share of steamed shrimp and both agreed best we’ve ever had. And the burger and fries was excellent, plenty to share and fresh add ons. Our waiter was friendly and prompt and staff was hustling. Views are nice, atmosphere is like neighborhood “dive place”. We were told it is owned by same owners as GGs and Tiki Tiki on the same waterway road. We highly recommend Le Tub and we will be back when in town.

My wife and I have been here many times in the past and visit Hollywood every year just to eat here. She is a burger fanatic and loved this place. It had been a year since we were here and we knew things changed when they handed us the menus, as they were smaller.We ordered a chili as an appitizer and each had burgers. The chili arrived with the normal cheese, sour cream and Frito's. Looked good until I bit into a Frito, probably the most stale corn chip I had in my life. We brought it it the attention of our server who threw it in the nearby grabage can. We decided we did not want to take another stab at the chili and they took it off our bill. Then the burgers arrived. I ordered mine medium and it was cooked to perfection, but lacked the flavor I experienced in the past. My wife orded well done. In the past it was cooked to perfection and always quite juicy, even for well done. This time the burger was so dry she could not eat it, even with generous additions of mustard and ketchup. We asked our server what changed in the last year and he said they have new owners. The server also informed us thay they changed meat distributors. So our suspitions were confirmed, things DID change and not for the better. As a side note, no visit from a manager even after bringing all these issue to the attention of our server. If you have been here in the past expect a not as pleasent experience.

I don’t get the hype. The staff is awful. I thought it was just our waitress but they were all the same. First, you pay to park in their lot…. You want water, you get it yourself out of a filthy water tub. The menus were soggy and thrown on our table. We had to share because she couldn’t find anymore. We had ice tea and they leave the pitcher sitting on a stool where the birds are all flying around. The cheese sticks were awful, seemed like frozen grocery store. The marinara sauce (which they advertise to be plentiful) was enough for one person. No ranch available. When she took the cheese stick basket she said… “ your burgers will be 45 minutes” ??? and we had already orders 20 minutes ago. It’s like she was trying to be rude. Thankfully they didn’t take that long. The burgers were good but they should be for the price ($14) and the fries were below average. We did sit right on the water which was a beautiful view. The tables and railings were 2x4’s and very uncomfortable but the view was worth it. Anyway, we would never be back. We had 5 burgers, 2 French fries, 1 cheese stick and 4 cans of pops and an ice tea for well over $100. I would never go back.

Still a great place for drinks and dinner. Friendly staff and delicious food. The burger is as good and reasonably priced as ever, but the mahi sandwich is a contender for an equally delicious bite to eat. Catch the views of the Inteacoastal sunsets.

The atmosphere and the entertainment factor of the size of the burgers is the only thing this place has going for it. Nice enough waiter, but the waiter for a different table was blatantly rude. If you want ketchup or mustard… avoid looking at the crusty bottles sitting on the table caddy. The burger…..”best in the world”….. no where close. No flavor. Not cooked properly. No point in asking how we want them cooked if they don’t know how to cook them that way. Way way way overpriced for such mediocrity.
