The food and service was great. Live music was so wonderful to hear! Can’t wait to visit again. High Springs looks like a wonderful little town.

Had never been to High Springs so i had no idea about any of the restaurants there. My friend had been here before and said this place was good. Turns out she wasn't lying. Had alligator bites, shrimp po'boy, and a chocolate cake and they...were all fantastic. Waitress was the nicest waitress I have ever had a restaurant. It was my birthday and they also gave us a complimentary bread pudding to try when they found out I had never tried one before. Wasn't the biggest fan of it, but it may be I'm not a bread pudding type of person. Great food and even better service, I definitely recommend this place.More

We came from Gilchrist Spring state park and wanted a bite to eat. This was close and sounded like a great place to stop. Beware, you must wear a mask and keep it on until your food is served. Coming from the park, we did...not have a mask so we ate outside which one was not required for there. Service was good, food was tasty, and we all remarked we enjoyed our meal. Interesting not all sandwiches came with fries. Don’t know how they decided which ones would and which ones would not come with homemade chips. Glad mine came with fries. If you wanted fries instead of chips, that was a 99 cents up charge. If in the area again, I would stop back in. Due to COVID, they open at noon. There was a line waiting for the restaurant to open when we arrived a few minutes before noon.More

Went for early dinner, wanted the Fisherman’s Catch that had a piece of Whitefish, 3 shrimp and 2 scallops. The whitefish was swai which I do not eat, the cost $23.00. I noticed they had salmon for $20.00. I asked if they could substitute the...salmon for the Swai and the kind waiter said sure but there would be “small” up-charge. I said ok and order 2 Fisherman’s Catch, ( with up charge for Salmon) one for me and one for my dad. When I received the bill the “small” up charge was $12.00 for each plate. When I complain to the manager she said she could do nothing and said it was covid 19 supply chain. Never again will I set foot in this place.More

The nut & berry side salad was so good as was the entire meal. I had seafood cassoulet and had plenty of shrimp in it. The service was quick and efficient. My husband likes the shrimp and grits. Nice place.

I love the look of this place, but think that is what you are paying for. I had the shrimp po boy and it only had 4 shrimp so mostly bread when eating it, the same for kids burger the bun is huge and the...burger disappears so my son just ate the burger and left the bun because it was really to big for the kid size burger, a friend had the veggie burger and it was over done and she had to get ketchup to eat it. We also had to wait about 40 minutes for our food which seems a bit long for sandwiches. I have been here before and loved the fried green tomatoes, but with all the quaint places in High Springs I will visit them next timeMore

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with a home like welcome. Whether inside or out the ambiance is eclectic yet outdoorsy, not quite like Cracker Barrel. Thw wife and daughter had the nachos and wow, that's a piled high plate,...meant for a huge appetite. I had the Reuben with house made kettle chips. It's not swimming in dressing so its extra tasty. Other people in our party had Gator Bites, not too much breading either, but they were a bit chewy, Bison Burger, and they had house made Sweet Potato Fries..delightful! The kids mean come with Sundaes...extra surprise. All in all a great great and tasty experience in this homey and sleepy town of High Springs.More

Probably the most high end restaurant in High Springs. Good food and atmosphere. Live bands played on the outdoor patio.

Wife and I popped in for lunch while passing thru to go camping. Got the burger and chicken sandwich, and conch fritters as an app. Wife loved her sandwich, but the burger was over cooked. Ordered medium but came out well done. Conch fritters were...amazing. Heaps of fries with both lunches. Couldn't finish. Band played classic rock, and there was a dog at every other table, which was really cool! I think my petted all of them. Overall, it was a good time!More

Yes they are. They even give them a bowl of water. Restaurant suggested making a reservation to guarantee a table so you don't have to wait too long. Enjoy your visit and take a picture for Trip Advisor. Sue S.
