The food here is ok, perfectly edible. What you might need to know is Lychee Garden is located in an area I would have felt more comfortable if armed with a Glock 9mm. The only parking was a few spots near the entry on the side of the building. You must go into a small insert to pay your bill faced with what looks like bulletproof glass separating you from the cashier. I got 'hit up' for money by a passerby as walking back to my car. Again, the food quality is fine, although I ordered online and they totally ignored the specific requests, very possible the soup is pre-made and could not be modified as requested. I wish this business well, they would do well to relocate to a location customers would feel safer coming and going!

Hidden Gem In Hallandale

The food is very tasteful and large portions. Excellent service. Also, the delivery. General Chang's chicken is one of the best around. Excellent ribs.

NEVER AGAIN!

Tonight we Again ordered Takeout, Been patronizing this place for many years. We were Never Impressed over the years but the food was usually Tolerable. The Price for their food is Absorbent and Simply NOT Worth what they dish out. Tonight We Received a 60$ Bag of Garbage, Got in our car and Drove Back and Demanded a Refund! Even The Duck Sauce Plastic Container was Bulging like a Golfball! We opened the House Duck Sauce and The Air Escaped like a Compressor! DONE! NO More Eating *Any food from This place Ever Again!

Great Ribs

There are not a lot of Chinese restaurants in my neighborhood, and this was probably the closest so I decided to try it. It is a small hole in the wall place that you would probably pass right by. The dining room is very small and not particularly attractive, but I ordered my phone and went to pick it up. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce combo dinner and a side order of spareribs. The ribs were meaty and delicious. The combo dinner came with an eggroll which was nice and crispy, pork fried rice and the shrimp. The pork fried rice did not have much pork in it, but there were plenty of shrimp. The lobster sauce was thick as opposed to most that are watery like many I have had but I’m not sure what they used to make it thick. I will definitely try other dishes there to see if they are still as good as some of the reviews say. I am from New York City and I am used to picking up the phone and ordering delivery which is usually free, but most places in Florida use some kind of service which charges a fee plus you have to tip the driver so if you are not ordering a big meal it is best to go pick it up

Less Than Wonderful Chinese Food

Tried it again and found the food to be disappointing. The chicken corn soup that I had liked has apparently been discontinued. Several other dishes were just “fair” with nothing special to commend them. Egg roles were bland and very mediocrely. Don’t think I will be trying it again soon.

A great experience

I have been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in the Hallandale area. I have found the best of the best. Making authentic Chinese food as I have experienced on Mott Street in NYC. All the dishes I have tried were excellent and well priced. The butterfly shrimp and Shrimp and lobster sauce are to die for. I have also had the sesame chicken and several beef dishes. All were excellent. I strongly suggest if you like Chinese food you bust Lychee Garden. I would suggest to get to the restaurant early ( limited parking ) and the small size. The service is excellent and rather quick.

Good but wrong food!

Good food and good quantities for take out but they made a mistake in my order. I ordered food for 3 on February 28 that included a chicken dish and a shrimp dish. However, our order included instead a cashew chicken dish on top of the lemon chicken dish. By the looks of it I thought our order was OK. I did not want our food to get cold but next time I will have to ask the employee to repeat my order over the phone and to check closely my order at the restaurant! For a vegetable dish, a tofu dish and two chicken dishes and white rice, expect $45.

Blink and you might miss this place

This is a tiny place hidden right behind Flanigans. If you blink you might drive by it. We ate in this visit but I could totally see going there for take out. The food is good for typical Chinese and it is fresh. I will be back.

Best Chinese Food in Hallandale

I’ve known this place for several years now and it’s without a doubt the best Chinese restaurant in the area. They have the best spring rolls, always fresh and tasty! I love their shrimp egg foo young and their dumplings.

We were 4 friends sharing different dishes. We shared chicken and beef dishes which were delicious, the wonton soup is very good as well. The egg rolls are ok at best, they seem to be spring rolls with heavy batter, not authentic. Overall, very good experince!

Good Little Place

Five of us went there for dinner and we're pleasently surprised by the quaint atmosphere...It is small inside but all tables have linen table-cloths. The food was very good and the prices very reasonable. There combination dinners are priced really good and all out meals were freshly prepared.. It is definitely worth going. OLD SCHOOL CHINESE FOOD 🍜

I LOVE LYCHEE GARDEN. Yes, I gave it 5-STARS. Now understand this, this is not five star dinning by any stretch of the imagination but WITHIN THEIR FIELD of greasy finger licking good solid old school Chinese food like I used to eat when I was in elementary school with my family at Canton on SW 8 Street Miami in the 1970's FIVE STAR GOOD. I stick to the old school favorites. FRIED WONTONS.... wrapper and pork is soft. Delish! BONELESS RIBS (I'll admit these are modern. In the 70's more sauce went on my cheeks from fighting with those ribs than in my mouth) EGG ROLLS... TOTALLY OLD SCHOOL and I absolutely love their wrapper. PORK FRIED RICE with extra pork. Yum! FANTAIL SHRIMP... TOTALLY OLD SCHOOL ALSO. EGG DROP SOUP If I were to knock them on old school is that their crispy noodles are not old school spaghetti looking noodles. Theirs are home made resembling fettuccine. FIVE STARS for Lychee Garden for OLD SCHOOL COMFORT CHINESE FOOD! Always fast, always delivery and always reliable.

Found it by accident...outsanding

We stumbled upon this place while looking for another place to eat. So glad we did. This is a true "mom and pop" restaurant. From the appetizers to the tea, to the main dish...they keep the food coming. It was all very very good.
