That I could find, this address does not house this restaurant. It appears to be a catering business not a restaurant, and the name on the glass front had nothing to do with the name in Tripadvisor.
Food is delicious and Althea, the owner is the best. Discovered the place in a James Patterson book. “Alex Cross” was taken there to eat. Brown stewed chicken, plantain and Althea’s zucchini bread to die for. Lots of “jerk” stuff if u like it hot!!!...More
My family and I stopped in here around 4 in the afternoon after spending all day at the beach. There was nobody else in the restaurant. The owner, Miss Althea, suggested we have a family style meal. She brought out dish after dish of different...More
A destination restaurant. Alithea cooks for you, home-style - and is a delightful person, and beyond authentic. Doesn't get any better than this. The place might seat 15 lucky diners, max. Our party of 5 just asked 'what's on tonight?' and got the Brown Chicken....More
Althea will brighten your life.
Had the jerk chicken that was a burst of flavor in my mouth.
No hot spicy, just flavor spicy, it was wild.
Friends had goat & a steak special which they loved.
Small place, real home cooking, delightful!
Went for lunch, & Althea served us curry goat & jerk chicken lunch meals. Food was tasty & good. Decor mad you feel cozy as if you were in Negril. Althea was fun & remembered our names. She even sat with us to chat for...More

Trip Advisor choice once again and not let down. Was a one-woman show for early dinner yet she was incredibly inviting. Wait was longer than we expect at a restaurant but remember its Caribbean and at times we need to slow down and enjoy the...More
IF YOU'RE IN SOUTH FLORIDA AND YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE, YOU'RE MISSING OUT!!! I went here with my father, after seeing the exorbitantly high reviews this place had. The service was a bit slow, but the food is like nothing I've ever had. The jerk...More
