I am a UF Alumni and used to come here all the time when I lived in Gainesville. We recently came back to town and had to visit Ivey's for breakfast. They have massive pancakes and french toast, as well as delicious eggs benedict. We also really enjoy their house coffee! We were only in town for 12 hours and... More

I am giving this a 3 based solely on the fact that the food was good and the restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience. We were seated quickly and people were friendly. The menu is somewhat eclectic and leans towards healthy fare, which is refreshing although not surprising for a college town. However the prices were outlandishly high... More

Had not been there for many years but could not remember why so decided to give it a try with good friends. I know why now! Real slow getting the food out and it is not very good due to inconsistent prep. However it is the attitude toward my group as customers and the food that I have a big... More

Went there on a Saturday morning. Superb breakfast!! Try the Blueberry Pancakes, the Eggs Benedict, its all really great, home feel cooking, you can sit outside or inside. We had a small wait, but was well worth it.

One of the great things about Ivey's Grill is their wide booths, conducive to friendly conversations. You can choose to have either breakfast or lunch at lunchtime, great choices, too. The service isn't hurried, and the food is very good. If this shopping center gives way to a huge Publix renovation, this spot may be gone forever, so go now... More

You read all of the reviews of this place over all the years it's been in existence. Average them all up, and what do you get? Great food, terrible service are the obvious two big traits. The chef (who has a hand in owning the place) is a great easy going guy. Great cook. Gets along with people. Place runs... More

We got there early (8:30 ish) AM after game day so we beat the crowd. My omelet was excellent! The rest of my party's meals pretty good except the muffin for my daughter wasn't. I think the fresh ingredients in my omelet made the difference & it was way better than the breakfast chains would serve. Service a little slow... More

This is my favorite breakfast place in town! In short, this local restaurant has fantastic food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything on the breakfast menu is delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully seasoned. There are plenty of traditional breakfast items but also a number of creative ones, so there's something for everyone. You should definitely try the breakfast burrito. I've... More

Sunday morning at 9:30 out of bacon, sausage, muffins. Short staffed. Sent back over cooked poached egg. Waited for food way too long. Had been before, has gone down hill.
