The pastries are divine but the people working there look very unhappy and unapproachable. I have been there multiple times and it seems that they are always in a bad mood. The delicious pastries are worth it though. I recommend the place but keep your mood high.

We love this place and are addicted to their breads. I love the asiago cheese bread the rosemay bread is amazing. I have to go there whenever we have soup. You want to go early or call ahead to make sure you get what you want before they sell out.

We discovered this hidden treasure while looking for a cup of coffee. The selection includes brunch items, luscious breads and scrumptious desserts. Staff was super friendly too.

Raspberry croissants, caramel-walnut and apricot-almond roses and sour cream Stephanies, all to die for. A total of 6 pastries for $26. Well worth the price. My wife and daughter raved about them all. Too bad I live almost 2 hours away but they will be on my list to visit whenever I get to Gainesville. Oh, by the way, get... More

If you like a croissant or a perfect French custard, the Uppercrust is the place to go. Choose from an assortment of sweet croissants (chocolate, peach, almond), or salty ( ham&cheese, spinach and feta), or the baghettes.

I love Upper Crust Bakery! The only drawback to it, is that it is ridiculously overpriced! I have friends who come up from Miami, and they love to go there, but they also love to complain about the price. My favorite sugar cookie is literally $3.75. I love it but I hate it at the same time. Highly suggest visiting... More

We’ve been in the area for 3 months and why we waited until 2 weeks before leaving beats me. I could have come here every Saturday or more often! This is one of a couple European style bakeries in Gainesville that are worth visiting and I can see why it rates #1 in Gainesville bakeries. The product is not cheap... More

We stopped here for lunch on 3/18 and got a sampling of several items. We split one of the mini-quiches (Lorraine) and it was good. We also tried a chocolate croissant (buttery and delicious) and a chocolate chip cookie (huge, right amount of crispy and chewy). The best things of all were the scones. They were chock full of ham... More

This place makes beautiful bread and croissants, these huge pretzels, They sell wine and a few other things. They also sell some simple prepared appetizer stuff you smear on bread. They make different breads on different days. It is worth going just to enjoy the wonderful smells.
