Lunch

A quaint little place great for lunch, Magnolia offered a great soft-shell crab sandwich. My only complaint is that the gumbo was quite expensive and could not be substituted in offers with soup of the day.

I had eaten here twice previously, but only for lunch. Last night I thought I would try it for dinner. I've never been impressed with their lunches. . . dinner was worse. First of all, they have cheap paper placemats on the tables and those flimsy, scratched up diner cutlery, the kind you also find in school cafeterias. It was... More

The restaurant is quaint and lovely. It was a quiet evening with few patrons. Our party of four was directed to a nice table by the fireplace. We ordered 3 glasses wine which was Barefoot, an inexpensive brand, and a beer. My friend ordered a fish dish and told them to cook it well done. She sent the fish back... More

Our party of 3 arrived at 12:45 pm and waited at the front door for several minutes. A gentleman returned and started scribbling around at the counter - never acknowledged us. After another few minutes he picked up some menus and took us to a table. Zero personality - not a good first impression. Our waitress was okay. It took... More

Had a great lunch with coworkers! The prime rib sandwich was wonderful! Crab cakes are the best in town! It is a great place to go with adults!

Friends took me to the Magnolia Grill just minutes from the beaches and away from all the touristy places. You wouldnt know this place existed if you werent looking online or had locals to guide you. This place had awesome historical decor and charm. Reminds me of a Tea Room or a B&B from the northeast. The food was excellent.... More

We enjoyed our 3rd visit to the Magnolia Grill in Fort Walton Beach the other day. We especially like going to lunch there as it is relaxed and no one is in a hurry. We were promptly seated, we had a reservation, but it was a very slow day , the day before Christmas Eve. I ordered the stuffed flounder,... More

The atmosphere at this restaurant is the best. The food is delicious and service is excellent. I love to look at the decorations and there's a room upstairs filled with memorabilia also. This is our place to go for special occasions and anniversaries.

My husband and I wanted to have lunch at Magnolia Grill as we have enjoyed this nice restaurant many times before. On this date, we missed the lunch dining hours by a couple minutes. When my husband went in to see if we could still dine, a man said "no, we close at 2:00." As my husband came down the... More

One evening in December, we shared the Italian trio. It is comprised of lasagna, spaghetti with mariana sauce and eggplant parmagiana. The restaurant is located in a home built in 1910 ordered out of a Sears-Roebuck catalog of the same day. A beautiful home with WWII museum located upstairs with the owners personal memorability dispersed though-out. Back to the food,... More
