Please visit this local establishment. Different roasted coffee every day! Latte is worth the wait. Small place, but don’t be deterred!

Good local coffee shop, way better than a chain. This is a small shop and there is almost no room inside, but the outdoor area is a great place to sit and enjoy your coffee.
We got some iced coffee before heading to the beach. Service was fast and the coffee was amazing. We will definitely be back!
thank you!
My gang and i have made a point to try every coffee shop in Fort Walton on the weekends. We frequent this one a lot. the Atmosphere is nice outside the inside is a little cramped however i do see others inside with their laptop...loving it. But there is only enough room in there for a few high stools. there menu is on a chalkboard and written out on laminate sheets if you want to know what is inside them. The prices are pretty high but the quality is great. If you are on budget like me i would recommend this place as a treat. They do sell coffee beans and have their own grinder that has different grinding settings. It is around 17-20 dollars a pound Recap Good coffee, outside is comfy and sells their own beansMore
thank you!
Awesome coffee! Great service! I'll be heading to Maas every chance I get! This is a cool little coffee shop!
thank you !
My husband and I are constantly having to travel and are always looking for local coffee shops. This is BY FAR our favorite we’ve found in the south. Great staff and even better drinks! Eclectic choices!!
wow, thank you so much! hope to see you again.
Good coffee is hard to find. I am not a fan of the large corporate chain expensive coffee shops, I am sure you can figure that one out. Mr. Maas makes a very good cup of coffee. Really friendly he is not but that doesn’t...bother me. Price was definitely cheaper than you know who, however still a little steep. Not very many choices for food so it is not a great place for breakfast but coffee very good. Stop in and give Mr. Maas a chance. We will be back.More
hi, I manage the shop, and your review made me laugh. I've been trying to teach him a little southern hospitality, I don't think I'm getting anywhere! but thank God for the coffee and his taste in blues! We hope to see you again!
Stopped in for something cool and refreshing. Got Namaste tea. Matcha, lavender, vanilla, and coconut milk with ice. Oh soooo good. If you bring your cup you can save some. Stop by, sit out back and just enjoy coffe/tea and conversation.
thank you! We ran the Namatchaste latte as a special, and decided to add it to our menu because people requested it so much!
come here! Asked hotel for local coffee shop, not Starbucks, and this was the recommendation. It was perfect! Even my bf who doesn’t like new/change from what he knows (Starbucks) loved this place. Only disappointment was that it wasn’t open the day we left town.
thank you so much. we hope to see you again.
I've had a few chai teas omg this wad the spiciest yummiest chai I've ever experienced. Very polite and friendly barista. My hubs got the red neck too so so good... white mocha with cinnamon. Definitely a find.
thank you! We hope we see you again!
I LOVE this coffee shop and its the first place I go when I want an enjoyable evening stroll in the park with my pups. I love going in and ordering a coffee and sitting out back. They offer non dairy options for coffees, though...I wish the menu would have clearly marked dairy and non-dairy options. Iced coffee, hot coffee, its all good. The last time I went in, I saw they now encourage patrons to bring in their own travel mugs or cups, to cut down on waste of one-use products. They've also started using #HayStraws! This is an AWESOME coffee shop. They have a nice little selection of books, feature work from local artists, run coffee tastings/classes, and are super friendly. They care about the community, and the environment, and are passionate about their coffee! I hope in the future they'll start offering vegan baked goods as well!More
Your review made me tear up. thank you for your kind words. I am happy to inform you that we just started carrying "Bitchin' Breads." Which is a local baker in town that makes us vegan breads (strawberry, blueberry, chocolate nut, and a chocolate cake...More
Good little local coffee shop in busy shopping and food district. Young lady was very pleasant, chai latte was yummy, and i will definatly be going back. My only issue was finding parking near the coffee shop. I had to park a couple blocks away...and walk, which wouldn't have been an issue if I wasn't with my kiddos.More
DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! Context: on the date this occurred a hurricane warning was in effect in Panama City where I was coming from, but there was no evacuation order in Fort Walton. At about 10:30 I arrived at Maas Coffee with my backpack...which I set down and ordered a cappuccino. The young lady who served me was pleasant and I thanked her for being open. My flight had been cancelled so I needed to rebook. After I had opened my computer and taken about 5 sips of coffee, the owner, who I recognized from a newspaper clipping on the wall, informed me he would be closing soon (the young lady had disappeared). I asked how soon and he said “in about 5 minutes”. I said “I wish you had told me” in a somewhat petulant but not hostile manner. He then said in a very disagreeable tone “do you want your money back?” I thought about it 2 seconds and said “yes”, because it was obvious I had come to use the WiFi and stay awhile and it was implicit in the transaction that they were “open”. He then said “get the F--- out”, which he repeated several more times. He threw the money back at me and added “get out, before I throw your computer at the wall”. At this point he was within 2 feet of my face and it appeared he was looking for an excuse to throw a punch, so I packed up hurriedly without bothering to shut down and left. It was around 10:40, this all happened within a few minutes. Overall, this is probably the most unpleasant experience I have had at any store in my entire life. I could not find other reviews mentioning similar events, but the above is an accurate description of what transpired.More
Owner roasts his own beans so they do not sit long. Service was fine. Coffee was ok. Bagel was straight out of the store package from the frige. If you bring your own cup you get 20 cent discount. Cute decorations and nice outside seating.
We have had coffee all over and this is by far THE BEST coffee. The blends and even the decaf coffee was amazing. Delicious, smooth and perfect! Jim the owner was is great American and a veteran! This local spot is the jam and great...local small coffee shop ambiance!More
