Server was friendly and took great care of this family of four. Clean and orderly venue. The issue is the food quality and portion size or value when compared to the cost. I fell trap to the picture on the menu for the shrimp and crab linguini. When it was served, it looked no greater than a $0.25 bag of... More

Good snow crab and cakes! Good calamari too! I visit this area regularly and make sure to hit crab trap at least once (but usually more) each time. It's great for families, casual work dinners, or if you're flying solo. I speak from experience.

They are super friendly and the food is awesome. Great shrimp and Gumbo! We really enjoyed this place. I wish we had gone here at the beginning of our trip, because we surely would've returned!

There were eight of us in our group when we stopped at the Crab Trap. In our opinion, the menu was a bit pricey for the quality of food you received. You can get the same at a Red Lobster. We thought that being on the coast the seafood would be fantastic. It was just ok. It was cooked right... More

We had the appetizers as our main meal. The hot crab dip is good, but certainly could use more crab meat in the dip. The bread served with it is very good and works well with the dip. The calamari is standard fare and nothing special. The drinks were well made and they did not skimp on the alcohol.

This restaurant is situated in a 2 story building with several other restaurants and a couple of beach shops. The Crab Trap is on the top floor with lots of seats for beach goers. You can sit outside to watch the surf or volleyball court. The inside is cool and conditioned. The wife's hair did not friz up as it... More

We stopped for lunch. The food was very good - fish sandwiches. The view was great as it is located gulf-side and it was a beautiful day. But $50 for two sandwiches and tea was a bit much.

We thought we'd give it another shot after a year or so and went for, what else, crabs. Way overpriced for a miniscule amount of crab legs, the other dish, a sandwich, was wrong once, then poorly done and service took forever. A true tourist joint. A true crab trap. That's about 2 hours and about 80 bucks neither of... More
