It's a little hole in the wall but it provides a an unique experience filled with interesting decorations, funny personalities, full menu of tasty food all freshly prepared. They only accept cash but do provide an ATM. Great spot for lunch.

We come to ft Myers beach a few times a year and a couple of years back we discovered Francesco's. VERY authentic Italian. The place looks, feels, and smells like a great NY pizzeria. ALWAYS a stop when we are in town and almost always delicious. This time of year with the traffic and construction it takes about an hour... More

As a family-owned establishment we never want to hear that one of our guests is disappointed with their meal. If you happen to be on the south end of the beach next week, please stop in and ask for Francesco or Susanne so that we can make the situation right. Ciao! More

This was the second visit we made to Francesco's this year. We were here in April, this time in December. On the previous occasion we had a large 5 item with Sicilian style crust, a slightly thicker crust then their normal "New York" thin crust. Having had both versions now, I admit that I liked the Sicilian a little better.... More

This is the best Italian on the island. We stopped in twice this week for pizza takeout and also blossoms, their fruit filled pastries. Great food friendly workers and now more seating inside and out. We live this place and look forward to next year.

The Stromboli was so good that we are going back today to get it again! The pizza was bland and overpriced and the Italian wedding soup was disappointing to say the least. Staff was very friendly. I'm going back for the Stromboli which was decently priced and fed 2 adults.

I try to find and try independent unique places, and this one qualifies. They make subs, salads, soups, sell sliced deli meats, hard-to-get Italian groceries, and yes, pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza was not very good. You know how a crust is dry when you re-heat leftover? [PS - don't heat your leftover pizza, eat it cold or room temp.] Well,... More

While sitting by our pool we decided we didn't feel like getting dressed and driving to our favorite "off Island" Italian restaurant so we checked trip advisor and read the reviews for Francesco's. We decided to order To Go instead of worrying about wait times(Thanksgiving weekend). Order was ready at the time they stated, everything was correct and hot. We... More

While staying in Fort Myers Beach we picked up their togo menu from our rented condo. To our surprise this little piece of heaven was tucked into a strip mall. Good Stromboli and one of the best antipasto salads We have ever had. All at the right price.

Description
If the food we serve is not fit for our table, you can rest assured it won't sit on yours... The history of Francesco's is a tale of two unique stories that eventually became one. Founded by Jimmy Greco on Beth Page, Long Island in 1958, the deli has served its guests with authentic Italian food for nearly 60 years. In 1978, Greco moved to Fort Myers Beach and renamed the deli Greco's Mousetrap Italian Delicatessen. Over the next two decades Greco's established itself as the preeminent Italian deli on Fort Myers Beach. Enter Francesco Razzano, Sr. In 1998, Razzano was looking for a new opportunity. Having recently sold his bar restaurant outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Francesco was tired of the cold winters and pondered a move south. When he learned of an Italian deli for sale in Fort Myers Beach, Razzano jumped at the chance to fulfill a life long dream. Born in Cervino, (Caserta) Italy, Francesco immigrated with his family to Ellwood City, PA in 1955. While he never forgot his heritage, Razzano embraced the opportunities his adopted country afforded him. Following service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, Francesco settled in Midland, PA where he owned and operated Frankie's Tavern for nearly twenty years. Even though Frankie's wasn't an Italian restaurant, Razzano never forgot his roots. It certainly wasn't unusual to find Francesco in the kitchen making an impromptu homemade pizza or filleting smelts for his patrons. Since acquiring the deli in 1998, it has been Francesco's goal is to provide his guests with the finest Italian cuisine using the same recipes he was raised with.
