Ate at Mantanzas on Tue. Went early, we were seated outside & felt very safe. Calamari appetizers are very generous, enjoyed by all. Husband had the stuffed grouper, with pineapple slaw, he enjoyed everything. I had the seafood stuffed shrimp, with garlic mashed potato’s, also...very good. Great service, nice drinks, all in all, nice dining experience.More

Lots of outside tables right on the water, perfect for docking and eating. Great food, covid-careful, decent prices. Clean restrooms. Last turn going north before you get on the bridge

Consistently fabulous food. The grilled grouper sandwich is amazing on the ciabatta bun. The pineapple coleslaw is my husband’s favorite. Ask for Jodie as your Server. She’s very respectful and efficient. Restrooms are very clean. Social distancing practiced. I was extremely impressed with how fast...the food came to our table. The temperature and the quality of the food was perfect.More

This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint. Nice menu and lunch prices. Food was good and so was the view. We sat downstairs inside and everything was good. We will be back.

Awesome. Out on the deck upstairs. Nice hippy chick (said with love) was strumming the soundtrack of our lives. Food great. I had the Chimi seafood. She had the blackened grouper . Are server was top notch. Forgot her name (I'm old) She was from...Indiana. Last name begins with an S. Red hair. Very engaging. We loved her. WE WILL BE COMING BACK.More

Went to Petey’s Upper Deck on Saturday 12/26 and again last night, 12/30, for pizza and beer. The food was great. The price is fine. Unfortunately I won’t be going back. On 12/26 I sat in the back corner of the restaurant by the bar...and was actually able to socially distance from other customers. Otherwise I would not have stayed. I wore a mask when entering and leaving and felt fairly safe. I did observe a gentleman who was a bar back that simply would not wear a mask. All other staff were, but not this guy. He had one under his chin the entire hour I was there, but never put it over his face. Back and forth, up and down that bar, but never wore his mask. The two bartenders did, but not this guy. Apparently no one working with him cared, and it’s disappointing management didn’t observe and or correct this. My wife and I went back last night and sat at a table, which was distanced appropriately. Unfortunately, very shortly after we were seated, a large group next to us left and they split the two tables being used for the large party apart, which eliminated any semblance of distancing. Many of the servers wore masks, but we observed many of them removing their masks and kneeling next to customers to take their orders. Clearly the masks are for show. Upon finishing dinner and wanting to use the restroom prior to leaving, I waited as the single use restroom was occupied. When the door opened, it was the same bar back from the previous night that was leaving the restroom. (He was working behind the bar again last night.) When he left the restroom and I went to enter, I noticed he was not wearing his mask. As he walked out the restroom door, he blew a last puff of smoke. Clearly he took a smoke/urine break at the same time. I went into the restroom annoyed that this person wasn’t wearing a mask, and that he had the audacity to go into a single use restroom and smoke while doing his duty. He left his cigarette butt in the toilet that was filled with his urine that he didn’t flush. One can only assume he didn’t wash his hands if he won’t even flush the toilet. My word... How can a food service worker have such disregard for simple hygiene and safety? Clearly this guy, and this restaurant, have no control nor concerns for hygiene, covid, and the health and safety of its customers. Gross, gross, and gross. All of this is a shame since the pizza was great, the music was decent, and the location is fantastic. But unquestionably, I will never go back here due to health and safety concerns.More

Went to the restaurant last night (12-28-20) for our anniversary . Very good waitress, nice outdoor dining. Went downhill from there. I ordered blackened grouper, dry and overcooked. My wife ordered the mahi mahi and it was the same, dry and overcooked. The potato salad...was good. Save your money and go somewhere else as there are plenty of places with a view that specialize in seafood. Will, however always remember this anniversary.More

Perfect lunch spot on deck near marina with beautiful views of waterways. Very friendly staff. Clean and COVID compliant. We’ve been here for lunch several times and always enjoy our meals. We make sure to eat here whenever we’re down near Ft. Myers. People can...pull up to dock with boats, well organized by dock master. A really pleasant place with excellent food.More

Top notch food in a great outdoor on the water setting. We pulled up our rented pontoon to some easy docking and got a table for 8 right away outdoors for lunch. Having experienced dinners at Matanzas we expected good food and they did not...disappoint. The stuffed mushroom appetizer and seafood chimichanga were a couple highlights.More

We have been enjoying Mantanzas for years, we remember it before they expanded. The location is great, we almost always see dolphins jumping. The Coconut Shrimp is to die for.

We saw a family with a small dog on the patio--the server brought out some water for her.
