Great food, view, and service!

The Whale is a great place for a bite to eat and drinks. They have a second floor deck which has a nice view of Ft Myers beach. The beach bread is delicious as well as their chicken fingers, ribs, pulled pork mac and cheese....My frozen drink was delish- Our bartender/server Alex was super friendly and very attentive. We will be back for sure to the Whale!More

Fun Place for Food and Drinks

Great service from Ben. Smoked wings and black bean dip was delicious. Cold beers and great views of the Ocean!

Great Meal! Great Service!

We visited twice during our stay. Once for dinner and once for lunch - Danielle W. was our server both times and did a wonderful job. Made great suggestions from the menu. Food and service was quick and efficient! Loved the steak chimichurri and lobster...bisque - key lime pie was awesome. Would highly recommend this fun restaurant - great for families. Had football games on too!More

Great time

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy meals at The Whale for years, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. There’s a new menu, but the grouper tacos were just what I wanted, and they were excellent. Danielle W was attentive, friendly, and efficient. My friends and...I enjoyed a great meal!More

Good food and great service

We had a wonderful experience at The Whale. Our server, Danielle was attentive and accommodating. The bar staff was super friendly. We met the chef who was also very friendly. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the live music.

Whale Of A Time

Rey of Sunshine

Absolutely incredible meal, right along the beach. Happy hour specials were awesome. They had amazing mussels, shrimp, and calamari. We got the wings too and they were phenomenal. But the best part was our server, Rey. He was friendly, attentive, and we had not only...a great meal, but a super fun time. This stop made our entire vacation. Thank you, Rey!!!!More

REY

The food was incredible (the sauce with the mussels was unreal) and our server REY was the best - sweetest guy! The manager was awesome - we had a great time. We’re so glad we randomly stumbled upon this place we will definitely be back!!

Great food, excellent drinks - a win all around

We sat inside, as it was way too hot for us that particular day. Loved what we ordered -. Drinks were made very well. Service was fine...we didn't get one of the wonderful servers others mention in their reviews...I think we may have had someone...new or just not into the swing of things that particular day, as they didn't seem overly interested in answering menu questions or making recommendations, but I also know working with the public can be tough - and who knows what customer from H*** they may have had to serve before us? They were very polite, got us what we needed and got the job done, no problem. Heartily recommend this spot - next time we'll definitely go rooftop :)More

Day visit from Orlando area

Food & service from Nicole was great! We had a burger, Shrimp tacos and clam chowder. We look forward to returning in the next few months.

Delicious food

Recent lunch was so good! Portions were large, could barely finish my fajitas. Husband had a pork dish that was delicious 😋 Will definitely be back!

Going for 24 years

We have been going to The Whale for 24 years. Excellent service and great food!! We started going when it was named The Beach Whale. Highly recommend!! We plan to continue going for years to come.

The worst food I ever ate

We ordered chips and fish which was tasteless, srimp from kids menu raw in breadcrumbs there was a taste of the ocean, and chicken wings which were raw. Also coca-cola is melted with a lot of waterfrom machine. Never again!More

Return to the Whale.

Excellent service by Lauren. Tasty food. Great assortment of choices. Happy hour pricing. Celebratory dessert for sweet sixteen’s birthday. No complaints!
