Grouper bites were awesome. And conch chowder was some of the best I've tried in a long time. For a touristy place is a must

Great bar/restaurant! My husband and friends enjoyed the stone crabs while I had blue cheese bread. Nice atmosphere. Great service and live music. Really enjoyed and will go back next trip.

stopped here after the dolphin tour at the marina after reading all the great reviews and was good! we did go with the vinny oysters as recommended on the reviews and didn't disappoint (although I could have done without the spicy mayo which was not necessary on the wonderful breadcrumb crab/shrimp mix) and the island bread (an amped up version... Their shrimp boil is good, fried shrimp is phenomenal, as well as their fried oysters. My nephew's favorite is their fried grouper platter. Fun atmosphere... More

Popular for obvious reasons. Good food, leaning heavily towards seafood, of course, but still a few good dishes for us landlubbers. Usually features musicians singing and playing guitar. Unless you're very hungry RIGHT NOW, try to avoid seating near the rear bar area, unless you can handle staring at empty beer cases and smelling kitchen seafood oil. Otherwise great place!

We've been to Fort Myers Beach 3 or 4 times, and we always make sure that we visit SOB at least once. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always fun. We've had several different sandwiches and they were all good, but my husband's favorite is the Mesquite Grouper Sandwich. You can get grouper pretty... More
