Popular for obvious reasons. Good food, leaning heavily towards seafood, of course, but still a few good dishes for us landlubbers. Usually features musicians singing and playing guitar. Unless you're very hungry RIGHT NOW, try to avoid seating near the rear bar area, unless you can handle staring at empty beer cases and smelling kitchen seafood oil. Otherwise great place!

We've been to Fort Myers Beach 3 or 4 times, and we always make sure that we visit SOB at least once. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always fun. We've had several different sandwiches and they were all good, but my husband's favorite is the Mesquite Grouper Sandwich. You can get grouper pretty... More

I ordered a Moscow Mule. I had to surrender my ID to drink from the copper mug. (They are ALWAYS served in a copper mug). That is a new. I am not crazy about a place that wants my $ but seems to think I would steal a CUP? I would say pass on this place.

We stopped at SOB several times for happy hour. Food & drink prices are very reasonable. Everything we had was very good. My friend had the scallops & she posted a great picture on Facebook I told her she should put up on their website. She said they were fabulous Staff was all very friendly

Location is in Times Square. It's dark inside considering its near the beach. It's fun and entertaining. Their abbreviated name is SOB so you can buy memorabilia with their logo that is fun and memorable. The oysters are fresh and they have an array of appetizers and drinks. Worth the stop.

Great music, great food, friendly staff. What more could you ask for after a day on the beach? Oysters were amazing, mussels too. The lobster ravioli with shrimp and. Triple cream sauce was memorable. Niko at the bar was attentive and knowledge.

Great atmosphere with beach feel but a little nicer than some of the establishments on the beach. My husband had the mussels in white wine and loved them. I had shrimp and a Caesar salad. Both were great. The Moscow mules were very tasty!! We will definitely be going back.

My dad comes here all the time, I wasn't to impressed with food or service. Just pretty average. But you can't leave without getting the key lime pie-we might have ordered two one night! My fiancé is allergic to shellfish and beef-wasn't very many offerings for him to eat.
