Two of us had what I would call a deep dish flaky quiche. We had it with mixed greens with balsamic dressing. Probably one could split the quiche if their appetites were light. Third person had eggs with hash brown potatoes, and sausage links with toast. Very fresh products. Good coffee. Giant ice teas.

Dropped in to the McGregor Cafe for lunch. We hadn't visited for about 3 months and it's still as good as ever. The menu was changed slightly but still has the old favorites. Their chicken salad is one of the best I've had. Always fresh and plenty meaty, with just enough dressing to keep it moist. You won't be sorry... More

Great service, great ambiance, but most importantly, unbelievably good food. I recommend the homemade soups and key lime pie. Best in the area.

Wonderful small, cozy eating place, Inside or outside. Friendly service, all homemade, tasty food, quiet music, right off main thorough fare so easy to get to. Lunch and dinner menu. Brfst included in lunch menu. Lots of huge umbrellas for sun protection. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of traditional fare. The service was prompt and friendly. Prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant's outdoor patio seating, close to but shielded from passing traffic on McGregor Boulevard, was reasonably quiet. The surrounding greenery made for a quintessentially Southwest Florida setting.

We stopped in for breakfast just after 9am. Were seated immediately and provided with steaming hot coffee. Good start. The menu had plenty of choice and we chose the Mr Joe and the Benny. Both were plentiful and tasty with breakfast potatoes. Service was swift but we did not feel at all rushed. Would certainly return.

We have been to this restaurant time and time again for breakfast, usually, although lunches were always excellent, too. The food quality is outstanding and portion sizes excellent BUT...they have instituted a NEW policy of not seating you until your entire party arrives! We recently invited our niece to join us for breakfast and knew she would be about 10... More

I understand your disappointment, but because of a few bad apples we have to implement this policy across the board during season. If i make an exception for you then I would need to make one for everyone who disagrees with this policy. While we appreciate your patronage, unfortunately the decision is not based on loyalty. We have a tremendous... More

I have been coming here for all 3 meals for many years. Portions are always large and delicious. Sitting outside is always a treat. Allowing patrons to bring their dogs always makes me smile. Definitely always a pleasure eating here.

Wow! What a great casual restaurant ... our party had portobello mushroom stack, chicken wrap, Philly cheesesteak and chicken salad on croissant. The potato salad was out of this world! Sitting on the patio was lovely with umbrellas to keep the direct sunlight off of you, yet allow you to enjoy being outside. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. I... More
