McGregor Cafe was recommended to us during our visit to Ft. Myers and we were not disappointed. Visited on a Saturday and it was fairly busy. We enjoyed the pork roll and egg sandwich (The Jersey) on a roll as well as the croissant with bacon and egg. Both tasted great and with the fried potatoes, they were more than... More

Best Turkey club so far in all of Fort Myers. Real turkey, plenty of crisp bacon and toasted to perfection. Love their homemade potato salad and the giant drinking jars to keep your thirst quenched. Friendly servers and relatively fast service.

The food is consistently good. Do not order the veal!! Never had a good experience with their veal & I tried it 3 times. Otherwise, great burgers, lasagna & wonderful breakfasts!!

We had lunch on a busy day here and the overall experience was very good. There is indoor seating and outdoor tables, and we chose outdoor seats. The cafe has a beer and wine license so the Screwdriver and Bloody Mary cocktails are made with wine-based vodka. I had a beer and my partner had a soft drink. The menu... More

We stop here for lunch every time we are in Ft. Myers . The food is always good , chicken salad sandwich is my favorite! Our servers have always been friendly & efficient. We like to come for lunch , so we can sit out under the banyan tree .

At one time we dined here several times a month and always enjoyed it. Then we began to notice that the food, service and overall experience were falling below our expectations. Recently read that the owner's son had taken over and a new menu had been introduced. Well, tonight we dined at McGregor cafe and I can say the menu... More

I sincerely apologize for your less than memorable experience. With respect to the new menu, we have not yet introduced the new dinner menu. We have recently introduced the breakfast and lunch menus, and are preparing for the dinner menu rollout. I hope that when the time comes you will give the new menu a try, and in the future,... Two of us had what I would call a deep dish flaky quiche. We had it with mixed greens with balsamic dressing. Probably one could split the quiche if their appetites were light. Third person had eggs with hash brown potatoes, and sausage links with toast. Very fresh products. Good coffee. Giant ice teas.

Dropped in to the McGregor Cafe for lunch. We hadn't visited for about 3 months and it's still as good as ever. The menu was changed slightly but still has the old favorites. Their chicken salad is one of the best I've had. Always fresh and plenty meaty, with just enough dressing to keep it moist. You won't be sorry... More
