First time in Cantina wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, but ended up leaving and loving the place. Chase M. was a great server, got our drinks and food on time! Love the Frank Margarita! Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice Presidential Margarita. Caso with Chorizo good enough to have a second helping. Fajita wet bowl very good-not warned how hot it was, nearly burned my lip! Never received any Guac with mixed fajita. Steak Tacos nothing to brag about-big piece of gristle! Surprised that...trip advisor has it rated #1 Mexican restaurant in Ft Myers.More

Poor service. Waited for a while after being sat and then waited again for drinks/appetizer. Food was very poorly flavored. Cold rice. Not great quality overall. Margarita was terrible. This place used to be very good (~7-9 months ago) before chefs/management changed. Will not be...back.More

We had very attentive service, but the food was just OK. The guacamole was great. The tacos were edible but not much more. They were out of the local IPA draft beer on the menu and shredded beef for tacos. Next time I want tacos...I'll buy some taco shells and ingredients and make them at home.More

Recently had lunch here and learned there is a new Chef. He came out and delivered my lunch. It was fresh and full of flavor! If you have not been to Cantina 109 in a while, I highly suggest you try it again! Food is...on point! Will be back here again soon!More

It has been awhile since I have been here, but went on a Sunday and perhaps the food was off because of day of the week. I have no complaints about the service or the young man that prepared the table side guacamole as he...was very pleasant, but he clearly was not able to make a reasonably good guacamole. . Could not taste onion, cilantro, etc. , but perhaps it was because of the salt. He POURED on the salt, probably at least 2 tablespoons. It was just not edible. The mole sauce on my enchiladas was sickeningly sweet. My friend had cheese enchiladas which were okay, it not special. I wanted to order Chile Rellenos but this was the third visit where they told me they were out of them. I loved this restaurant when it first opened but don’t know what they did or why the food has changed. It will be a long time before I return. This review and the stars are solely for for the service. The young people working there do a wonderful job. The food deserves only 1 star.More
