Traditional thin crust pizza, served with burn crust and top., little taste even withe the very sparing amount of cheese and tomato sauce. Service fairly good, nothing special.

Be forewarned!!! The management of this establishment shuts the ovens down for 40-45 minutes in the late afternoon at the start of early bird dinner hours. After fighting 30 minutes of traffic to get there, we were told at 4:15 p.m. that we couldn't have pizza (their ONLY dish) for 40 minutes due to this daily ritual. You won't find... More

I was traveling for business, arrived in town late and needed a quick bite. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza and since it's next to a shopping center I had some choices. Grimaldi' was recommended by the hotel and I'm glad I was receptive to it. Grimaldi is a NY style thin crust brick oven pizza. There is a... More

Great coal oven pizza with tasty salads. Ate here with local and out of state friends for dinner. Everyone loved their pizza. Good beer and wine options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Expect a wait for dinner but it remained casual. Friendly attentive server. Will return!!

Being from NYC, we agree that this is the best pizza. Dough is not greasy, chewy in the best way, relatively thin crust, toppings are perfect, slightly charred at the edges. Like the original restaurant in Brooklyn where we lived for 14 years. The salads are perfect, with just the right amount of light, vinaigrette dressing. A small salads is... More

Being from NY, I consider myself qualified to be a good judge of real NY pizza. Well, Grimaldi's will not disappoint you. This is the best pizza you will find anywhere, including NY. All your favorite toppings are available and a few that you've probably not tried before. It's a great atmosphere for a family or for an "upscale" Italian... More

This place was hopping on a Thursday night at 7 pm we had a 30 minute wait. The inside of the restaurant was freezing! Lots of outside seating with heaters. Our server approached our table right away and took our drink orders. We ordered a small Mediterranean salad, small spinach salad and caprese salad. The salads are huge which I... More

We were looking for a good pizzeria in the Fort Myers area. The ones we have sampled before Grimaldi's were not even average at best. But Grimaldi's was a great find. We had a salad and we all had their thin crust pizza. Excellent! We will be back!
