Visited Mel's by looking restaurants on trip advisor since we're in the area for a day trip. Kim took great care of us, making suggestions and giving us time to review the menu. The smoked salmon Benedict and the lox bagel was OUTSTANDING!! The mimosas were fresh and unique, cheap only for $4. Currently undergoing renovation on the patio but... More

This is great diner breakfast but get here before 11 am. Try the screwdrivers made with fresh squeezed OJ and the Bloody Mary's are good too. We had biscuits and gravy. We ordered a large which is 2 big biscuits split and covered in peppery sausage gravy since we were going to share. My husband had the special that is... More

Our family has food allergies...Bill was able to accommodate our needs. It made our family feel safe to eat there. Food was delicious and the portions were very large. Wonderful meal!

While in Ft. Myers, I was dying to find a Rueben sandwich. I googled "diner" and Mel's came up. What a great place!! Very fun, retro, friendly staff, and the best food we ever ate in a diner!! The serving sizes are huge, we had to take half of both our meals home. Best Rueben I've ever eaten!! Must try... More

What better way to spend a Saturday night then at Mel's. Buffalo chicken salad was amazing. Tried the buffalo chicken personal pizza, very thin crust. A bit too greasy for me. Of course we had to finish with a piece of chocolate mile high pie. Should have skipped the main course and went right to that. Mmmmm, pie.

As diners go, you'd be hard pressed to beat this one! The decor looks more like an upscale restaurant than a typical "diner". They also have a full liquor license, so Sunday morning Bloody Mary's are literally on the menu. The food is great and reasonably priced. It gets very busy by 10:00am but our server Steve was friendly, fast... More

I had been here many times for breakfast but my husband and I stopped for lunch the other day. The lunch specials are great. Where can you get a great double cheeseburger, fries, Cole slaw and a milkshake for $10? And be waited on.

Good for families. Bk menu extensive. Orange juice freshly squeezed, very tasty but pricey. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Diner got noisy at times. Service good.
