I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan with chicken and told them I was very allergic to shrimp so as not to have any utensil used for both etc. When I got back home the order was Moo Goo Gai Pan with shrimp. I had to drive back to the restaurant and return and request the one with chicken. The lady at the counter was very rude and blamed it on me and insisted that was what I ordered. NO APOLOGY or any thing. The new order was disgusting....no sauce just swimming in water.

Terrible crab Rangoon with almost no filling. Ordered with Uber eats and by the time we got it they were closed. Went in and took the uneaten (only missing one) and was told they would not fix. Very disappointing and will never order from there again.

I'll start by saying I do not regularly write bad reviews for any type of business as I am probably the easiest going guy around. We have been frequenting this place for about 5 years and spending large amounts of money to feed our family of 7 on take out Chinese food. Unfortunately, we have NEVER met a friendly person behind the counter here as everyone else has mentioned in their reviews. Sketchy business is usually apparent, but we have dismissed it as the food was usually to our liking (not always). Signage hanging saying that if you spend so much money you get an item free. Free items were NEVER included and when questioned I was told that you have to order the items for them to be free....hmmm . Things like this have happened regularly and there is also a severe language barrier causing constant mix ups but as I mentioned ..trying to be positive. Not after today. My wife called to order food sitting next to me in our vehicle while I was driving and had to repeat our order literally 8 times. It was read back correctly finally and we headed to the store in 10 minutes. When I arrived as my wife had just had surgery, I went inside and as usual was not greeted even tho I am there about once weekly. I paid $40 and was handed my receipt that showed one of my dishes was pork with garlic sauce. We had ordered BROCCOLI with garlic sauce (said MILD a dozen times at least and stated it again when I asked them to correct the dish). I was surprised that I had been charged for pork with garlic sauce and there was no price difference offered when they were correcting the dish. I inquired and was told it was the same price for broccoli or pork ...hmm so I pulled out the menu and after seeing it was only $1 difference didn't want to make a big deal. My teenage daughters do not eat any type of pork products and ordered their sides as WHITE RICE. Of course as usual theirs came with pork fried rice and I discovered it after I got to the car and went right back inside asking to fix the problem... I then watched the nasty lady who is always there take the sweet and sour chicken out of both containers piece by piece with pork fried rice stuck to every piece and lay it over a bed of white rice in the same containers that had the fried rice while speaking in their native tongue laughing and rolling their eyes at me. I then saw her POUR THE PORK FRIED RICE THAT I HAD TAKEN OUTSIDE TO MY CAR BACK INTO THE VAT FOR THE NEXT UNKNOWING PERSON TO ORDER. As she handed the "fixed" dishes back to me she said the lady that ordered said pork fried rice ...SHE DIDNT....I decided to check the "mild" broccoli with garlic sauce while I was in there and when I opened the container the hot peppers LITERALLY MADE MY EYES TEAR UP...I don't know if it was done out of spite or not but I told her it was ordered as mild and she told me it wasn't ...IT WAS...13 TIMES...I wanted to watch what she did with the broccoli that I gave back to her after seeing what she did with the pork fried rice but she caught me watching and took it somewhere I couldn't see ...she handed it to me and said here's your spicy broccoli. I said it should be NOT SPICY ...and she ignored me and asked to help the next customer ..when I got back to the car I had my wife test a piece and she said it's fine ....yes the top layer was fine but that nasty lady filled the entire rest of the container with the same broccoli I had just handed back to her. It is literally inedible ....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ..IF NOT FOR THE RUDENESS THEN FOR THE SKETCHY WAYS THEY HANDLE FOOD ...

Worst worst worst. I ordered the honey chicken was so gross what I got was plain dry breaded chicken nuggets with no sauce, instead a side cup of dipping sauce that was pure vinegar with a couple sesame seeds in it. Gross. The rice, egg roll and egg drop soup also gross. I threw the entire lunch away. Also agree with the other reviews, the guy at the front counter had zero personality and looked miserable like he hates his job. I’d give zero stars if I could. The one star will go to the almond
Cookie. That was actually good.

My friend suggested that we dine at the Wok which is near his place of employment as he only had a short lunch period before having to return to work. He had the chicken cashew which he described as delicious. I enjoyed the Sweet & Sour Shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to,perfection. The rice and sweet sauce were tasty and added to the overall experience of the dish.
This is a small , casual restaurant with about 5-6 booths for seating with plenty of parking available as it is situated next to the Publix grocery store. The place is clean and the wait time was short. If in the mood for Chinese food you might want to give Magic Wok a try out.

Food is actually pretty good. Too bad the young guy that works the counter is a jerk. He's never had a good personality (see other reviews, it's not just me) but I can live with that. I asked him today, nicely, if he could put on the ceiling fan. We're eating lunch in what is essentially the kitchen and it's almost 80 degrees out. He says, "I'm cold". I said, how could you be cold, you're literally standing in the kitchen. So not only does he have no personality, he's a liar. Well he lost a long time customer (I first went there almost 4 years ago). There's way too many other choices for chinese food to put up with that crap.

Tried the cashew chicken for lunch and was quite underwhelmed. Very average, with little flavor. Employees were actually rude. The young man who took my order had no personality, didn't greet me or smile, and failed to greet others when they arrived. Woman cooking in the back yelled at the young man, very unprofessionally. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Won't go back.

I am in the medical field and work in an office of over 80 people. My colleague and I decided to order lunch because other employees suggested it, stating it was very good and the lunch special was affordable. I ended up getting busy with patients and not able to take a lunch and ended up not going to get the food. The owner repeatedly called the medical office saying you ordered food come get your food. With over 80 employees no one knew at first who ordered, he said he wanted know which son of a b*&$h ordered food, that someone is lying and needed to pick up the food that he was no liar. I was finally notified it was my mistake and I told him I couldn't leave, I apologized, and offered to pay. He insulted everyone whom he spoke with, he laughed at me saying I was a liar, I had no idea what he was talking about. I never got to try their food and I never will! That is not someone I WILL EVER want to do business with! Some of the ladies here at this office order Chinese every Friday but this office of over 80 will not be ordering from here EVER AGAIN! P.S. Jackie's Chinese restaurant is AWESOME! AND has the same lunch special!

If I had seen the reviews before I ordered at the restaurant I probably would not have gone there, which is sad. But I didn't check reviews and ordered take-out dinner for my family. We hadn't had Chinese food in a long time. The food was great! It was exactly what I thought it would be and we had no complaints. The staff were friendly.

I tried this place twice, figured the first time, maybe they were just having a bad day. had the bourbon chicken combination platter , which was very dry overcooked with very little bourbon sauce, it was edible but just. second time decided to try a combination of appetizers with the pu pu platter. Well I was wrong the bourbon chicken was the highlight of everything I tried. the chicken wings were barely edible ,, the ribs were burnt to a crisp the shrimp were dry and burnt, the egg roll mushy ,, the fried wonton burnt. That was quite possibly the worst dinner I have ever had the misfortune of trying to eat. There was a different person at the counter during the second visit, and she was just as unfriendly as the young man the first time. the shame of this is, the food was visibly burnt and they decided to serve it to me anyhow , they knew, they had to know just by the appearance, that they were serving me garbage and just didn't give a damn. by all means avoid this place like the plague.

It was Shrimp Lomein. It was something to eat but it will be last time for me from here. My wife's tofu in her vegetable soup tasted 'LEMONY' yuk! My Lomein tasted like cooked old oil or unrinsed pan. Only Oriental, Chinese or Thai we could find open nearby. Definitely done with it! Will look for other cuisine if ever similar situation.

I know this restaurant is relatively new I believe even though I believe the earliest review of the place was from July of last year. I believe the three other reviews here were all beyond horrible and the reviewers actually went to the restaurant and are local residents.
I was just passing thru recently and staying at the Super 8 on Colonial and was looking for something to eat. I very rarely have food delivered anywhere I am. God sakes, I never even use the drive thru windows anywhere because I usually never know what I want and it seems to me that usually its quicker to just go in and order. I think most people are just plain lazy and don't want to get out of their car but will spend 1/2 their lunch hour waiting. Go figure...
The menu for Magic Wok happened to be in the hotel lobby so I figured I'd give them a shot. I like to think I know good Chinese from bad but of course opinions varies. I usually keep it pretty simple and this visit thru Ft Myers was a while back. I think I had the beef and broccoli and two spring rolls. Everywhere I go, the eggs rolls are usually too mushy or too something. The spring rolls are so much better. To me it's kind of hard to mess up a simple recipe like beef and broccoli.
To be honest, I thought this was some of the best Chinese I've had in a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to order from there again next time I'm in the area. Probably be in Ft. Myers during baseball spring training very soon. I'll be looking for Magic Wok. To each his own I guess, but if the reviews are to be believed by the others, there is no excuse for being rude to the customers especially when you're a new business. Word of mouth can be the best or worst form of advertising. I'm sure these reviewers will be telling many of their friends of their experience.
